I'd be interested in seeing how the quality of the sound improved after the strings were replaced. Sounded pretty decent. Do you think the pickups needs replacing for a proper sound?
@@BadMotivator66 I didn't know if you would. No offense. He was a brilliant artist, writer, singer, and played guitar quite well. He got shafted by by Mick and mcvie. But eventually got payed something.
Just saw one of these in the window of a local shop the other day and the price looks alright! How much work do you reckon it'd be to get a bigsby in it and some nice locking tuners? Watching your video I'm suddenly overcome with the urge to pick one up as a kit guitar project, haha!
If you got a vibramate (adaptor) you can fit that to a bigsby and put it on without drilling :) I have one i did have on an SG (in some earlier videos). I'm considering fitting it to this at some point! I think the bones of these are great, fantastic modding platforms. thanks for watching :)
oh and there are loads of locking tuners that will drop right in. I have some wilkinson tuners for a gretsch that i accidentally ordered and kept for later- they'd look awesome on this!
@@BadMotivator66 No shit? I'll have to look into that! Cheers for the reply! Watching your pickup upgrade video now, haha! :D I'll give you a subscribe to see what else you think of down the line
Tinman hi any tuners with the larger bore and single screw hole at 45o should fit. Eg grovers, vanson, Wilkinson etc. You should be able to see from the pics on the websites. Cheers :)
