Excellent, George! After watching this, I added a pair of warm; "Woolen Gloves" to my shopping list today, for today's shopping trip, to wear under my gauntlets, after suffering from the bitter 45-degrees F cold, on my 30-mile trip to Cinderford, and the 30-mile trip back to Hereford again, last weekend! My 88-year old bones are really starting to suffer now, at this time of the year! Take care, all...and keep warm!!....😀...😀...!

I've got heated grips on both of my Triumphs and they make make a terrific difference. Here in Tennessee I can ride comfortably year round.

I had them installed on the old 2007 Ultra and I was very pleased. They came on the new bike and are even more effective as this bike protects my hands from the wind better. My hands can't take the cold like they used to. Good to see you out and about.

Great to see you and the beautiful North GA country roads. The Heritage & new grips look great! I bet they would also be helpful at low to med heat for those that may have any arthritis issues in their hands too. Stay well and be safe.

The grips look great. I have a set on my Low Rider and will be putting them on my Street Glide this year. I rarely turn them above 2. I have heated gloves but I much prefer the grips.

I prefer the grips too. These Kahuna grips look great and are really a good grip even without the heat. Thanks for watching.

I’ve had heated grips on all the bikes I’ve owned since 2001 because I live in the UK! As well as being excellent in cold weather, they also help to dry out gloves after summer showers. Glad your happy with yours.

Never thought about drying out of the gloves. After riding in the rain with soaked gloves once, I always carry an extra pair in my saddle bags now. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe.

Those are my favorite grips and I also like everything in that collection . I have had several Harley Davidson's since 2007 and out of all the custom add ons that I've seen through the years I like the kahoona collection the best hands down. They look really good. Thanks for taking us along for the ride. 👍

These grips are very comfortable even in the warm weather. Just finished a 1,300 mile 4 day weekend trip from Georgia to West Virginia and they were great. Overall comfort of the bike was exceptional. Last day was a 475 mile ride home that was a breeze.

The first time I used heated grip was on the Can-Am Experience ride back in March of 2021. It was 39 degrees on that ride. I turn the heated grips on high and 10 mins into the ride, I had to turn them off. On my Sea-to-Sky, they worked great. Unfortunately, it just has high and low controls but it beats nothing. The heated seat was also a plus. I'm glad you talked to NC Stoney. When I saw the title, I thought of him. He is a fine feller, just like yourself.

The Harley grips have infinite settings between 0 and 6 and after a few minutes they really heat up. I’m really for anything that lets me ride a little longer. Mr NC Stoney is a fine young man. I enjoy riding with him and we agree on pretty much everything important in life. Thanks for watching and hope your recovery continues smoothly.

I’ve got a battery powered electric gloves right now I’ve had for a few years they seem to work pretty well I have mine on low they last for eight hours medium the last for 5 to 6 and I’m high they last about 3 to 4 hours but I’ve not had any issues I’m thinking about ordering another battery for them . They seem to keep top and bottom of my hands warm . But I like yours . As long as your happy that’s all that matters . Stay warm , be safe . 😎👍

It’s when I get on the bike and the grips and bars are cold as she-at to start with that I most wish I had some heated grips. Like takes all the heat right out of my hands!

I've had heated grips on a dyna with a windshield--like your heritage--and now with my fairing-equipped street glide. The backs of your hands definitely get cold without a fairing. Maybe add some hand guards if you go on long rides in cold weather.
@GARamblinMan
@GARamblinMan Год назад
Good idea. I like the hand guards on some of the Adventure/Sport Touring bikes like the Kawasaki Versys 650 I recently test rode. I wonder if I would even need the heated grips with those guards. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I live in N.Ky between Cincy and Lexington….I just put Kahuna heated grips on my 2020 Heritage and WHAT a difference!!! I have moderate arthritis in both hands and these are a life saver for riding in cooler weather…..For older rider riders I would consider these before a new saddle!!!

I love these heated grips. Really makes a difference on a Heritage where your hands are out in the wind.

Are the Heritages prewired already for the heated grips? I heard there is a connector already in place at the end of.the bars. Wondering if this is true or would I have to wire everything from scratch?

I have heated grips on my heritage, and it's true, the backs of my hand get cold while the inside of my hands are warm. Been looking for hand protectors to help reduce the wind across the back of my hands for those cold mornings here in Northern Illinois.

Love the heated grips I had installed on my 2017 RoadGlide Ultra. Ironically, our season is drawing to a close here in the fiery low deserts of So. Cal. and we're in the upper 80s and 90s. Wish we could get some cooler weather before our 120 degree days from June - Halloween. Ride safe.

It is hot there in the Spring and Summer but one of my favorite places to ride in the winter. The heated grips are working great so far. Definitely an upgrade worth having on cold days in my opinion. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe.

I like heated grips for cooler weather but below 45°, I add some wired heated gloves to the equation. I read that the heat these grips put out is dependent on ambient temperature and don’t reach maximum temperature until 20°.
@GARamblinMan

I like them so far. I just wanted something I didn’t have to wire to bike. I tried battery powered heated gloves and they were not very good. In fact a waste of $. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe.

Does anyone know if the new 22” have the heated grip prewired already standard. I’ve heard that the wires and connector is already prewired in the handlebars.

Nice looking grips for sure and the heated option is worth the money I think. In super cold weather, you need everything heated and even then its hardly worth the expense IMO.
@GARamblinMan
@GARamblinMan 2 года назад
I agree. I bought them so I could ride on clear sunny days in the 40’s and 50’s, which is most of the winter in Georgia. Any colder then that, the motorcycle just stays in the garage. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe.

I love the video. What leather jacket are you wearing. I need a nice warm leather jacket. I was at Killer Creek on Saturday. The day of the snow storm. 3/12/22. I have the Joe Rocket heated gloves too. I like them. But still looking at heated grips

The jacket I have on in this video is a Cutlass from First Manufacturing Co. it’s a lightweight denim jacket with leather sleeves. Very comfortable and good transition from heavy duty winter leather jacket to summer mesh jacket. www.firstmfg.com/products/cutlass-mens-motorcycle-denim-leather-jacket

You need black brake and clutch levers, Ramblin Man! Was the install of the new grips easy enough? I plan on doing more cold weather riding. Nothing crazy, nothing below say, 45 degrees. Can't take the summer heat with proper gear on.
