I decided to change my bow hunting arrows from the Easton Full Metal Jackets -- FMJ's -- to the Easton Axis arrows. The Full Metal Jacket is a carbon arrow with an aluminum sleeve. It weighs in at 10.2 grains per inch. The Easton Axis arrow is a carbon arrow that weighs in at 9 grains per inch. The axis is still on the heavy end for carbon arrows, but much lighter than the FMJ. I will increase the weight of my new carbon arrow slightly with a heavier brass insert to increase my FOC, but overall the arrow's weight will be lighter than my previous FMJ set-up. Hopefully this will make for a good balance of penetration and speed. We'll see. Might need to go to an even lighter carbon arrow! Let the games begin :)

If you watch until the end (which you totally should) I mention that I was thinking of adding a 75 grain insert to increase my FOC. I still want to increase my FOC, but by doing this I won't actually decrease my arrow weight which is the goal -- thank you to all who commented 😂! Lots more arrow play to come friends!!! Enjoy the video :)

My bad the RIP/TKO Elite arrows in a .400 are 8.9gpi ; however, another great victory shift VAP TKO is only 7.9gpi in a .400" spine 👍 Happy Hunting! www.victoryarchery.com/rip-tko-hunting-arrow/

@@ronnielkier that's the shafts I am giving my cousin. The Victory VAP TKO's. His draw is 3" shorter & I know he's shooting 70 lbs. plus he lost a buck that was 4 years old in 2019 on the last day of the season. The deer lived but he needs more penetration with added momentum & more stable arrow flight. I passed through a buck last year tight on the shoulder & clipped the bottom of the spine & down through the lung on the other side. 1st time I've seen an arrow pass through the spine. He collapsed & pinned himself 2 the ground. My arrows this year r designed 2 do more than that, good luck 2 ya.

Glad to see your getting away from the fmj arrows. I did a mock build of a Easton hexx 400, 75grain brass insert, 150 grain stinger buzz cut 2 blade broadhead, three 2” vanes, no wrap, total arrow weight around 450 with19.5 percent foc. This would be the perfect arrow for you. At your low draw weight foc is crucial for high momentum and better penetration. Please don’t shot expandable broadheads.

Watch the ranch fairy!!!!!!! My fiancé shoots an e35 ens cam (small base) pulling 40 lbs shooting a black eagle outlaw 480 grains total weight and her arrow hits like a train. Also 4” Easton fletch helps steer the heavy front. Ranch fairy has awesome info on short draw light poundage setups.

If you have switched to a lighter arrow for speed benefits, don't go crazy with the FOC. Just by putting in a 75 grain insert, you have now made the carbon arrow heavier than the fmj. Then add the larger broadheads to the equation, your fps will suffer. You are only going down 33 and change grains by switching shafts. Any additions, even minor, will have negative results in fps. Use the standard insert with a 100 grain head. It will put you at about 10% FOC. That would be fine for a 400 spine at 50lb

Great explanation. I have been using the Carbon Express Pile Driver Hunter DS for the last few years. They are 11.4 grains per inch. Total arrow weight is 511 grains. Shooting 288fps. Passes through elk without them even knowing. How do you like that bow press you go a while back?

I agree with some of the comments below about the ranch fairy. Great info there. I started a similar journey about a year ago. I have a couple tool and component suggestions for you to try. First off, I’ve fallen in love with my new victory RIP TKO arrows. Micro diameter (.204) but still use standard broad head and field point threads, and they are super tight tolerances. My second suggestion is to look at the ethics archery spinning inserts. I have more testing to do with mine, but upon setup, I am noticing they carry speed down range better than the static inserts I used to use. The gap drop from 30 to 40 yards is half of the drop from my 20 to 30 yard pins. I think this is due to less resistance once they get up to speed. For short draws or low poundage shooters carrying the speed down range is critical. Lastly, be careful in your quest for speed, I made that mistake of going to light and suffered some very poor penetration. I am still testing configurations, I am thinking of going to a 4 fletch with vanetec vanes instead of my current max hunters in a 3 fletch. Good luck, I am looking forward to seeing what you learn. My current setup is coming in at 550 grains.

Great video as always! I recommend taking a look at the Victory RIP/TKO ELITE Arrows in a .400 -.500 spine I believe these arrows are about 7 gpi only ( not for sure but my .250 spine are only 9gpi) these victory shafts due to their low gpi allows you to increase your foc and maintain a low overall weight . For instance I shot fmjs for years and loved them for the increased gpi and like you i wanted to increase my foc. When I switched to the Victory RIP/TKO Elite arrows I was able to keep my overall arrow wt basically the same and increased my foc from 10.5% to 19% and that was with shooting a 24 grain lighted nock . I was able to do this because of the 3gpi less the RIP/TKO arrows offered . FWIW the RIP/TKO shafts in the elites are .001"straightness and are already spine aligned 👍 Hope this helps & Happy Hunting to you and yours ! www.victoryarchery.com/rip-tko-hunting-arrow/

I agree, with an upgraded insert on the Victory Xtorsion shafts I made in January it was cuz Easton went away from the ACC Hunting which were as consistent as it gets. So i changed 2 something tougher with the Xtorsion which is wrapped with a high alloy 304 steel. I haven't heard anybody complain about the front of the shaft mushrooming like a FMJ. I was able 2 do it on 1 but i also destroyed a high grade insert & new bullet point. I'm satisfied that hunting situations won't be anywhere near as 2 what I shot that arrow into.

I've been shooting the 5mm Axis at a 340 spine and they've been great. I'm also looking at increasing my weight and I already spoke to my bow technician about it. Last year I was hurt and couldn't shoot my bow till mid June and reduced the draw weight. This year I've been shooting for a couple/few weeks already and I'll be much stronger. So I'll crank my bow up and with the extra weight, I should have a much more kinetic energy the arrow is carrying.

@unkomikey1494 4 года назад
I switched to the 5mm axis as well and I will say I love them! I only shoot about 61lbs of draw weight so I wanted a slightly lighter arrow. I shoot them with max stealth vanes in a four fletch configuration with a pretty healthy offset and right helical. They shoot so straight. You should try that setup out and see if you like it. Can’t wait to see what you come up with 🤙🏽

Use the single blade as well works great from what I've seen. Plus a heavier tip helps speed up an arrow. I watched the hunting public go from sticking half way out of deer to sticking half-way out of the ground on the other side.

Everybody acts like this is something new. Those are the guys that were shooting as light an arrow possible,because speed was all the rage. I have shot 500 + / - grain arrows since that late 90s when bows start having the ability to transfer the energy needed. I shoot at 70# and also now use fmj arrows I hear people talk about momentum,but I learned about kinetic energy from the gun industry. I then applied that to bow hunting. One thing I noticed about stiffer spined arrows is that they give up less energy in flight ,because they do not oscillate as severely as lighter spined arrows. People shooting 1100 grain arrows today at lowdraw weights are setting them selves up to mame more game than their killing. Safari bow hunters are pulling 75,80,90lb draw weights and probably hitting that game with an arrow tip at 250-275 mph and 75+ lbs of kinetic energy I saw one guy saying he's shooting almost 12r00 grains at 150 fos with a kinetic energy of 22 lbs. That is slower than a bb gun. if a professional baseball player could throw that arrow at 90 mph how far do you think it would penetrate through the glove of that catcher at 90 ft? There is ,however,an old saying. Speed kills

For a fixed blades broad head I would try a magnus. How can you beat life time warranty. I will also be trying cuttthroat broads his year as well. I would recommend doing the ethic archery range fairy test kit before you do anything. You don’t want to slap a 75gr. Insert in your arrows with a 100 or 125gr. Tip to find out it isn’t working for you. I trying doing 4 fletch on my arrows over this past winter. I didn’t see any change in flight. Compared to my 3 fletch arrows. One thing I did notice is that there was more noice coming from the 4 fletch then from the 3 fletch. I video taped my arrows just before it was hitting the target. And noticed a big difference. Good luck with the arrow build.

You might could try thinning the wall thickness down a tad on a couple FMJs and see how they hold up. Might be enough shaved weight to warrant the effort? Not 100% sure on it, but it's an idea. If you taper the shafts to the rear, that'll raise your percentage of penetration. Positive on that one. Also, you mentioned shoulder problems. Try strengthening your lower and mid trapezius muscles. The ones that run from mid back up the spine. I'm not a Dr, but I've had my share of pain from shoulder impingements in the past and that's what I did to fix it.

iv got a few fmj infuse nocking around and they DO drop a fair bit compared to a lot of carbon arrows , they carry a big punch and push your broadheads further , i do preffer a flatter shooting lighter arrow , maybe gold tip hunters or easton bloodlines .. ( curious to watch the next half 😀) lighter arrows moving faster and shooting straighter arent bad at all just dont use an oversized broadhead . they still punch through , and a left helical unscrews your broadheads ! great vid

I'm shooting 56.5 because of major shoulder issues. All comfortable there. Lucky for the 30" draw. So, went to Eason Hexx 330 7.9 gpi, .281 outside dia. and 001 straightness. I added 50 grain brass, 20 grains for lighted nock 9 grains for 3 fletch and 100 Grain Montec G5 CS. The reason for the heads is they are so streamlined, tough, thin, pointed to insanity and so sharp you can't look at em without bleeding. Total 429 grains on the nose. I believe if you look at those broadheads, the CS, you'll see how they can push not punch through bone and or do a full pass through no problem. Some of these new heads are so clunky I don't think you could push them trough a pumping. They make Hexx 400 I believe, a little heavier, so use 85 grain G5's. JMO

Hello Allie, I know you love your bow however, have you seen the review by Stephen Hann about the 2020 PSE NXT 31 or the 33? Everyone loves the smooth draw saying it feels 10#'s lighter than it is because of the large cams. No shock (dead in the hand), very very quiet, and if you get the high letoff module you can hold for about 15 min. I'm just asayn you should go and try one out. 😃👍

I shoot the match grade Easton axis 330 spine. Try them with a 50 grain brass insert with your axis arrows. Allows for more weight forward, you’ll like them. Even at 55lbs for you they’ll work good. Little lighter than the FMJ and I love mine, mine weigh 420 grains total @28” with a 100 grain point, but any Easton arrow is a good choice.
@mikesmith2102

Great video!! You understand ballistics brilliantly. I shoot a traditional 60# recurve with a 29.5" draw. I shoot a 31.25" port orchard cedar arrow. It's a heavy arrow. I get about 180 FPS out of the bow so I have a significant ballistic trajectory for anything over 15'. Penetration is all about energy transfer which is really just MASS x SPEED. A heavy arrow moving slow or a light arrow moving really fast will have about same amount of energy at the target. For easier penetration you'll need a arrow head that has a larger diameter than your arrow. A bigger hole reduces shaft friction as it passes through the target. A compound bow has more arrow options than a traditional bow. Have you looked into using an overdraw rest? You can shorten your arrow and allow you to drop a spline range and with a small lighter arrow it acts like you increased the poundage by 3-4 # per inch.

At least the ones I have built. I have had the best of luck with the 2° heli with the bohning x vanes. They are alot quieter and a little lighter than the blazer vanes. 6.1 grns per vane. And deff watch the ranch fairy I just upped my foc and still playn with the foc. Thinking of adding anouther 25grns to get more foc. Best tip he gave is tune your arrows to your bow. I've just notice now.... what made you changed from Hoyt brand into Mathews bow???? not that I'm being picky on brand type.... I do love Mathews since I'm using Mathews tx-5 Mathews since I have shorter draw.... but is it that you found Mathews more forgiving than Hoyt or is it that the tuning of the bow are more easier? I've played around my friends Hoyt Defiant bow and I found it a bit jumpy but maybe I'm just not use to the bow....? I do like the way you talk about the arrow you're using ... the slimmer the arrow the less wind resistance it made...

Unfortunately , watching the bow shot cycle on the video, the shoulder muscles are being stressed. Watch John Dudley archery 101, draw the bow predominately using the central back muscles ( this step is described as pulling the shoulders blades together across the back). Simultaneously the hands should ideally remain in the horizontal plan, with the rear hand moving in an arc to the anchor point. After that comes target acquisition using the peep.

I shoot gold tip hunter xt 400s, the main reason I chose them is that gold tip inserts have a threaded rear so you can optimize your front of center with a weight kit. I choose to use 100gr broadheads because they seem to have the most variety in designs in that weight but I can add as much weight as needed to get my desired foc. I am unsure how compatible the inserts are with different brands as far as diameters go but so worth it for tuning. I believe they come in aluminum and brass. Good luck with your arrows.

I’ve shot a lot of arrows. Anything from cheap Walmart arrows to VAP victories. The arrow thing is just a marketing ploy. I can grab anything with the right spine and shoot it well. I grab anything from 8.7 grains up to about 9.3 grains per inch. I’m not limiting myself to a certain arrow. They all work. The only real difference I’ve seen is in durability. Even then, they all work well. I stick to name brand arrows but I’ll still shoot “cheap” ones. I currently shoot cheap Walmart gold tip cut downs. At $3 an arrow during clearance they are hard to beat. My other arrows I have plenty of are gold tip hunter 300s.

Excellent presentation Allie. You are headed down the right path. A 75grain inset is a good starting point. Ranch Fairy is good but look at Dr. Ed Ashby's research. I'm moving up to 500 grains for deer and antelope and 550 for Elk. Arrow drop is a concern but I used 465-grain (75-grains added to insert and a 25-grain collar) arrows on antelope last year and was happy with my range (80 yards). Thanks again for sharing. Once I switched to four fletch I experienced two things immediately: First all my fixed broadheads flew straight with no tuning! Second my trajectory suffered a little more arc. Blazers worked ok, but they are heavy and loud. With four of them, each weighing 6 grains each, they robbed some of the FOC % from my arrows 🙁 Since the majority of my arrows get broken once they hit or go through a game animal, I switched to Gateway Razyr feathers. At 1.2 grains each, all four of them weighed less than one blazer. My FOC % was better than before, the feathers are just as silent if not more so, and all fixed blade broadheads flew field point true, AND my trajectory improved a little. Rain was a concern, but gateway makes a weatherproof powder that is quick and easy to apply and then the feathers repel water like a swimming duck! You should give them a look.

Your headed down the right path. Your arrow diameter will change because diameter ratings are based off the inside diameter. If your going to run HIT inserts you need to look at aftermarket components like Iron Will. You can decrease insert weight and add a footer.

Great vid however there are some things to think about. If you are shooting a 27.5 in draw my guess is your arrow is around 28-29 inches long judging by where your arrow sits when at full draw. Based on the math of a 28 inch arrow your 5mm fmj with a stock HIT insert stock x nock and 3 blazer vanes you arrow weight without a broad head is about 329ish. If you build your new arrows to the same length and add a 75 grain brass insert your new axis 5mm will be heavier at about 354 (with 3 fletch blazers) or 360 (with 4 fletch blazer)... so what I’m trying to say is if your looking for a faster and lighter arrow your going backwards. If you want a lighter faster shooting arrow look into the Easton hexx which comes in at 7.2 gpi. Another great option is the vap tko in a 400 spine that comes in at 7.9 gpi. And that tko is a true small diameter arrow. Also if you want to trim more weight off you could trim your arrow down about an inch to inch and a half so that it sits .25 to .5 inches in front of your drop away rest. Good luck on the search and I look forward to seeing what you settle with.

Math 😆 I appreciate all of the info, thanks for running that down. You’re totally right.... I’ll have to switch to an even lighter arrow if I want to increase my FOC while still going lighter. Oh boy. Lots of arrow set up play ahead!!

A lighter shaft with more point weight will have better penetration (and flight) BUT... the most important factors are integrity and arrow flight. If your broadhead gets damaged on impact or your arrow bends or breaks on impact you waste energy. A bareshaft needs to be leaving the bow straight before the fletching takes over to steer. After that, FOC, broadhead sharpness, and total weight come into play. I found that I prefer shorter vanes in a 4 fletch instead of tall blazer vanes in a 3 fletch. Q2i fusion x-ii vanes are fantastic.

I don't get this whole 4 fletch craze !. Four fletch looks like crap.There, I said it !. I like arrows to still look like arrows.The look and flight of the arrow is the romance, If you know what I mean. It's hard to put in words. Anyhow, go with 3" , 3 fletch, hard left helical. Perfect flight AND it still has the beauty of days gone buy ;)

Thanks for your OPINION. What I love about archery is that it is very personal to you. What works for one person may not for another, and what one person thinks looks good may not to another. At the end of the day, if it flies well and the shooter likes it that’s what matters. I like 4” feathers in right helical on my recurve arrows. I like the 2” Fusion vanes in right offset for my compound arrows, but soon I’m going to try 2.5” A&A cut feathers on them and see how they fly and stabilize a 200 grain fixed blade.

Hi outdoor Allie. I’m very new to archery and hunting and your videos are awesome. I noticed that your arrows seem kind of long for your draw length. I’m wondering if you are considering a shorter arrow? This would help take some weight off your old arrows and would increase foc at the same time. At a 27.5” draw length you should consider a 26 to 26.5 inch arrow. I hope this helps. Thanks for the videos!
@josephtreadlightly5686

Best part of the video was the part of the insert. If u run a 50 grain insert I think u will have a good balance. I like the small surface area of the G5 Montec 100 grain 4u & u can get them very sharp & they r easy 2 sharpen. The sharpness of that well made broadhead should be your focus. A 100 & an 800 Diamond flat stone with a little leather 2 finish them off should give u a lethal setup. I'm only shooting 57 lbs. with a 30" draw but by bare shaft tuning & nock tuning every individual shaft 2 my bow b4 I fletch them gives me awesome penetration. Would like 2 see u experiment on 90/4 vane arrows along with a few of the 60/120 variety. 2019 i was 520 grains & I'm up to 640 now with a 125 grain head & a 125 grain Ethics insert. I am purposely shooting tight on the shoulder so I can watch the animal go down. Worked great last year & I'm even more confident with that process this year.

There is also is another thing to consider as far as a hunting issue and that is broad head selection. I have a short draw and shoot lighter poundage as well due to shoulder issues. I used to always shoot mechanical s but last year, i decided to try a fixed blade in the slick trick standard as 100 grains. I would suggest you address broad head choice as well. Great job on learning and teaching others as well.

Good vid👍I’d maybe consider victory rip shafts(.204ID same as axis) 60grain steel insert and a 125gn broadhead.. At 400spine (55lb/cut at 27 for your DL) they come in at only 7.5 grain/inch.. plenty FOC and around 410gn overall... you’ll come up a whisker stiff if your bow IBO is around 315.. food for thought anyway.. cheers from aus🙏

in 2018 i went thru my 2nd rota-tor cuf surgery in 6 years, on the same right shoulder and i am right handed. Both the physical therapist and the doctor said i would not likely pull my bow again, at least not set at 65 lbs. in October of 2019 i took my first deer with a bow. i pushed really hard on the physical therapy. i did the exercise they gave me plus some (after i was released by the doc of course) anyway all that to say, a good exercise program might get your shoulder strength back up to a higher draw weight....if that's a goal you are interested in?

To all those who are not physic a major, the weight of an arrow has no effect on the depth of penetration. What determines the depth of penetration is the kinetic energy the arrow carries. Two arrows that weight different weights but have the same kinetic energy will both penetrate to the same depth, because both arrows will have to shed the same amount of energy. Heavier arrows are not guaranteed to be caring more energy because they will be moving slower. While every bow has a sweet spot for arrow weight where it imparts the most kinetic energy to and arrow, and throwing out the extremes on either end, the different in kinetic energy between shooting a heavy arrow slowly and a moderately light arrow faster, there will be no significant change in the energy the arrow carries. Play with some of the archery ballistic calculators you will see this for yourself.

In Washington State, your arrow must weigh over 400 grains to hunt legally. I was working up a potential arrow for my friend who has the same draw length and poundage issues as you. This issue seemed to factor into the set up too. She wants to buy a Bow Tech Convergence because of the high variability in draw weight from 35 to 70 lbs. She can draw 35 lbs. but needs to work her way up to at least 40/45 lbs. or legal hunting draw weight. With the new carbon arrows and their spine range now days, I had aluminum arrows to deal with in my youth, you can develop a arrow just over 400 grains and it can be used up to the maximum draw weight of 70 lbs. That is amazing considering the 2216 and all the aluminum choices we had to deal with. Anyhow, it was nice to learn about FMJs and what they are now that I'm getting back into it. I need to play around with inserts and FOC for my next arrow setup. Thanks.

My wife is similar draw length and only shooting 40lbs. I have her shooting the goldtip hunter XT's 340's (touch over spined )but I added 100gr of brass insert and 125gr tips. Shooting slow but hitting like a freight train. I'm prob going to go to a 400 spine for her next time but I had these 340's kicking around so we tried them. Lots of FOC and they fly great. I personally would try a bit lighter GPI arrow for your low poundage and stack some weight out front for better flight and penetration

Overall(if you see this) I think that you should base your arrow set up around which game you're hunting, for example, an arrow setup for larger game like elk is going to be way different than whitetails that can duck, and run real fast. I'm not a hunter since I am not old enough to drive, but I just wanted to say this to help all those who are reading this to help them decide which arrow setup would be best for them.

While there's a benefit for higher FOC at close ranges, be careful when you increase the weight in the front of your arrow, you're weakening the spine. I feel a properly static and dynamic spined arrow is more important than FOC. Looking for a set-up that will shoot great at longer distances for your western hunts and also slam an eastern whitetail from a treestand will be fun! Best of luck and hope you find a good balance.

I noticed that when you were drawing, that the arrow was way past the fork of the rest, by at least 2”...if you wanted to keep the FOC, you could cut the arrow by at least 1.5” and the back of the broadhead will still be in front of the fork and won’t cause any danger when at full draw. Get victory arrows or black eagle arrows. Haven't updated my setup in years in fact have not really shot in years. But when I did those were the best on the market. I use a Mathews wake at 80 pounds so never had to worry to much for arrow weight. But I use a victory VAP arrows at .250 spine. With the small diameter and the football shaped inserts, it adds extra power and flight due to the shape of the insert and FOC, especially at longer distances, its kind of how those nerf footballs can be thrown so far because of the geometry of it compared to regular footballs. At lower poundage its your best bet for increasing FOC and penetration power, without sacrificing arrow speed that you would get with a heavy arrow. Victory sells them in all size and spines. Also those FMJ suck, the weight is not that big of an advantage, and because of the aluminum outer shell, they will bend if you hit anything, even if you hit a practice target at weird angles they will take a bend. Happened to me plenty of times, stopped using them years ago. Full carbon with no gimmicks is the way to go, I have hit my arrows plenty of time into trees, and even into the ground and hitting rocks, pulled them out. And still good as new.

Limb Driven TV did some tests with FOC (FOC test 2) and got better penetration with a 19% FOC 500gn arrow vs a 600gn 10% FOC. I would go lighter GPI and then add back in more weigh up front. So the overall arrow weight is lower so your speed is similar to what it was in the past, but with more FOC you still will have good penetration.

I've been shooting for 25+ years and have always been a fan of heavier arrows...they gain speed/energy down range. I feel like you will find 3 mentalities in this sport...The Hunter, The Target shooter & those that are somewhere in between (but even those will lean slightly to one side than the the other😆) I'm in the middle but Hunting is my priority. I've always believed the trick is to find a balance. I've always hunted, shot leagues and 3D...all with the same set up. I have P&Y Elk (30yds) ,W.Tail (25yds) & Pronghorn (54yds..😏THAT's a story best told over 🍷..cause, 🤦‍♀️🙄prairie goats, right?😆)...all were all shot at 57#. You don't need to shoot a heavy poundage bow. It's more about you being in sync with your set up and shot placement than anything else. I've always told customers...you can do everything wrong, as long as you're consistent, you'll get there 😆😆. Seriously tho, 🍻 you're awesome. Keep up the good work.

I got some 300 spline Beeman arrows that are 8.1 gpi total arrow weight 350grains , I also have 300 spline Easton axis 5mm with 75 grains inserts for a total weight of 550 grains that fly similar out to 50 yards. Oh boy, lighter does not equal better , maybe for target shooting but for hunting , this is a problem! For many years I've shot gold tip pro 400 spine with 100 grain heads , they shoot nice , but they do not offer kinetic impact or bone breaking ability as a whole. I have broken bone with that set up but , to light a an arrow with to much speed , with almost any 100 grain head will deflect off bone. I've seen it I've done it! It took me time to understand it! Lots of people are directing you to the ranch fairy he has a lot of knowledge , he is also into very heavy arrows. Going back to traditional arrows look into why they wanted heavy arrows with more FOC. Lower poundage bows need heavier arrows to get full pass through. I'm in the middle of a build now trying to reach 550 grain! Now FMJ are not a bad arrow but they do have a weak spot! Shoot them long enough you should know where that is. The axis is a good arrow!!!! Think like this big rock with string sent at 50lbs , or little rick with string sent at 50lbs , what will do more damage? Next is what the rock is and how it is shaped and what it can do. Everyone and their brother will tell you what to do. In the end I will say this, will you be confident your arrow will snap through bone? And give you complete pass through. Your on the right track , just do more research , speed isn't everything ! Good luck girl and welcome to the rabbit hole
