The motorcycle and sidecar Zundapp KS 750 was widely used during the Second World War by the German army on numerous battlefronts. The development, based on a specific OKH need, was set up in 1937 and rnade by Zundapp and BMW. Thanks to the 751 cc boxer twin-cylinder engine capable of delivering 26 HP, the KS 750 could reach the top speed of 95 km/h. For the gearbox was adopted a “four speed” lay-out with the reverse gear. Together with the BMW R75, with which the KS750 shared many technical components to improve the easiness of maintenance and availability of spare parts, it was used to perform a wide variety of duties from transport to reconnaissance. For several duties it was substituted very soon by the Kubelwagen, more practical and easy to produce and maintain. It could be armed with a MG34 machine gun installed in the sidecar's boot.

The seats aren’t brown on BMW motorcycles of that era. I own a 1949 R35, and the seats are leather, but dyed black. I’ve seen every BMW model dating back to the early 1900s, and there are no brown seats, until you get to the non-leather seats.

Charles Larson Yes, you’re correct. It is 1949, not “18” as I mistyped. Even when the seats are weathered for 70 years, they’re black. Even going back to the BMWs that I’ve seen from the early 1900s.

Three or four months on the Eastern Front and I bet they'll be brown! Not much imagination to figure the why.

It is not a BMW, it is made by Zundapp

Really fancy getting another of these, had one years ago and prob still have the decals. I presume you mean mudguards when you say fender?

I built that exact kit many decades ago, so I'm sure the molds have seen some service.

Did you finish this kit? If so, can you upload a video or link to some photos of your finished build please? I'm busy building this exact same kit, but brought out by Revell. I've seen the exact same mouldings in an ESCI kit as well.
