There were a lot less politics on TV when Obama was president because no one tried spreading their own propaganda like they do now with their anti-Trump propaganda.
Selective memory impairment. Carson, Leno, Letterman, Cavett were always poking fun at politics. Anybody remember Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter jokes? HWBush as a goofball? The Bill Clinton show was unending with hosts and comedians, as was WBush. ALL people in power deserve to be held to account, jokes included & nobody is above it.
Yeah well, Johnny Carson never had to go up to the first four rows and get high fives and fist bumps, to win approval. He just did it with good old fashioned comedy
I rarely missed "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno but the one night of the week that NEVER, EVER MISSED was Monday night. I was obsessed with the Headlines! Late night television used to ROCK! And occasionally they were even funny LOL BOTH Leno & Letterman were masters of their craft. It not only sucked to see the go but those who replaced them suck even more. Unless of course you LIKE being bored outta your mind. 😶😶😶

viewing steve irwin. I'm struck by Steve's seeming reckless dealing with dangerous animals...&.i cant help but think it was in part responsible for his untimely death.....
