I hope Fox News will do updates to this reel. It seems that a lot of things that should be followed on do not get followed up on. So we are truly not informed. The man should start talking to an attorney or attorneys to determine the correct course of action through the court. This will prompt people to start to do something when it hits the courts, this includes the Federal Government. Take court action against the EPA for not wanting to check into this because maybe there is another government agency that has failed to do right and they don't want that other agency to be brought out publicly. NJ is known for this. Toms River ring a bell for NJers? I used to live their in Point Pleasant Beach. But yeah NJ has a problem with pollution in the Ground Water & Water Table. Some smaller townships can have these events. Sad really. Probably more contaminated ground water like in the past.

I graduated from a small community high school in 2001 and the rate of infertility and multiple miscarriages experienced between my fellow peers is crazy! We are convinced that we were exposed to something at somepoint. My theory is it has something to do with a vaccine we received as children. We all would of been getting the same vaccination at around the same time and at the same medical facility. Like something was wrong with the batch we received. I think this because it's only affected women that are right around the same age because this problem is not worth noting in women from our area that are 3+ years older or 3+ years younger. But for my age group I would say it's about 80% of us that have delta with fertility and miscarriage issues. Many of us (including myself) are/were unable to ever have children. In my case I was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure at 32.

Sadly, I believe it. This is part of the reason the world went crazy over Covid - the pharmacological industry works on well-funded and long-institutionalised generalisations. Pay some "average" humans a bunch to take part in your double blind trials, pick the ones with a 70%+ success rate, list a million side effects, pay everyone involved for collecting the minerals and chemicals needed and forget the rest. Research and development is as robotic and uninspired. We know a lot about drugs. We also don't know a lot, and it's a lot more.

Send 50 random Water Samples to at least 4 Non Government Affiliated Testing Centers, even if you have to send them out of the Country to be Tested. Have 1/2 Tested in The US and 1/2 outside of the Country, with the Public Water Samples taken on random days, apart from each other, over a few months to a few years. @RobCoastalGA A few people have done just that and the Rad Meter went ballistic at the fresh vegetable sections at quite a few Wally.worlds nationwide. Most fresh produce is from CA. Shortly After Fukushima in 2011, rad was 6 inches into CA soil. It has never been stopped and at least 30 Million gallons of Pacific water is used to cool/flow over the disaster and back into the Ocean, Every Day, 365.

Yeah, no problem with the mayor's statement. I don't think the reporter is familiar with these types of situations and how often they are dismissed by local leaders and brushed under the rug. There are people in communities who sometimes end up waiting years for any type of real investigation to be done. I hope they are able to find something conclusive and remedy the situation. Sadly, these cases are rarely as straightforward as one should expect them to be.

Right it seems the mayor is trying to do something. But I think to my hometown during the Flint water crisis and there’s not much the town could do; the state got involved with testing the water.

How extremely rare is it? 100 people in one high school? My best friend just passed away from it at 49, it was terrible. It doesnt seem to be that rare, though they would like you to think so.

And here in St. Louis, MO, no one discusses the West Lake Landfill anymore. Years ago, we were hoping to get bought out (those of us in closest range) but it has essentially been forgotten. Well, we are all mostly aware of it still, but we don't bother thinking on it too much. Our leaders have dropped the topic totally and we doubt we have any chance of convincing them to take it seriously. Most of us can't afford to move away to safer areas - being bought out was our only hope. But life is life I guess. Still, my heart goes out to this community too and all others who suffer like this! May we still find ways to live our best lives regardless of what horrors may happen.

Water or air quality. My HS had esbestos wrapping all the heating pipes...many female teachers God mesothelioma and lung problems, as did some male ones who had been there for a decade or more. This was proven and it was finally removed(asbestos breaks up and becomes airborne even when not disturbed). I don't know if my graduating class got sick. Water could be to blame but schools have their water checked seasonallly.

There's actually only 3 banned forms of use with asbestos according to my certification. We still use this stuff for its great ability to prevent fires from spreading.

Asbestos wouldn’t cause a spike in glioblastomas, or neuro cancers for that matter. Not to downplay what happened to you. I doubt it’s radioactive water either. To have such a high rate of specifically rare brain cancers, it would have to be a strong, local radioactive source that is constantly exposing those people while they are there 8+ hours a day, almost like they’re going to school in a giant X-ray.

I know people who died from exposure to asbestos--mesothelioma. They installed a/c & heating units in schools. It accumulated over several years. They did not even know it until it had spread. One man with a wife, 5 kids (including a young one), & grandchildren died only a few months after he found out. There was a huge class-action lawsuit & a settlement. These people did not even know until it was too late. Not really any signs. A silent killer. Very, very sad.

He needs to also look into the research of atom bomb testing that was conducted and the atmosphere wind spread to farms, dairy cows, animals, and soils all across the USA during that time and long term effects. There was also a push to have children drink more milk in those days. Contamination would have been all over the place and possibly genetically passed to children of parents during those tests.

@@Saral_Lekhi It was nowhere near NJ but yes, there was open air atomic bomb testing in the US back in the 1950s. Las Vegas actually advertised the detonations as a tourist attraction the Stardust Hotel sign even featured a mushroom cloud as it's logo.

I went to a very small high school in South St Louis. Graduating class was only 68 people in 1990. We've had an alarmingly high rate of students developing autoimmune disorders like MS, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Psoriatic Arthritis, etc. I ended up with severe Psoriatic arthritis and fibromyalgia and a migraine disorder. On complete disability and I'm under 50 years old.

It will be important to see trend over time, particularly if it is extending into current period. Compare trends in nearby schools in the township. Some of the schools received free solar panels, roof filled with panels back on 2010, need to check if that has any impact on student and employees health
