This is so much like the relationship between your truck hook and theirs, and it makes sense now. The limbs are tied in almost the same way as a truck hook, mechanically. This is like third eye opening stuff coach b, thanks
Very nice, the way you walk us through the moves and troubleshooting is priceless! I've been playing with a similar counter for a while, but you're way more advanced with it then I am at this point. Some great details in there. Thank you for sharing with us!
Why not take the back after the initial defense? Did you just prefer the Kimura, or is there something deeper than that? Either way, very interesting. Thanks.
Yes there is something deeper. Taking the back is something I would do for the past 20 years but when you face an opponent who is really good with the Kimura it is risky. If they are my size or smaller, I can usually take the back but when faced with a tough opponent, you run a risk of giving up your arm. Its tough to take it out safely. Some day I will have to do another video showing this line. Thanks for watching!
The Counselor Definitely not too long. The length was perfect to explain all the nuances of the technique. He doesn't need to change a thing. If it's too long for you, don't watch. Simple.
TeachMeGrappling Coach Brian Please don't change the format of your videos. Really appreciate the time you take you make them and attention to detail. Thank you!
