The SC Project SC1-R sounds absolutely monstrous! Did you prefer the OEM Akrapovic muffler or the SC Project Slip-on? Find all exhausts for the S1000RR & M1000RR here: tinyurl.com/3nu4usy8
All I know that I was not in the market for rizoma mirrors for my 2019 R1M and when I was checking out, Mani’s r1m video again today I decided to pull the trigger. The hell with it :) waiting, patiently Mani😎
Sounds really good with the SC, but definitely too loud. I bought my arrow headers and midpipe from you guys with the stock Akra pipe and absolutely love it. Glad yall showed that one first because I'm super happy with it.
Looks good I think the Arrow evo is the best exhaust for that bike. I know you gotta show different products thanks for keeping things fresh I enjoy the builds
To be honest, we are not driven really by trying to show different products for the sake of showing it. This was something based on what we wanted to achieve. The Arrow is a great system, but too loud for my old self.
@@Motomillion got it hey speaking of different you should offer jetprime throttle buttons without the double r engraved. Think it would look nice on the single R
You don't think the titanium matches more? The carbon is matte, the bike has all gloss carbon, would have been too black. The contrast of the titanium color I think is the right choice for my taste, especially since it is so much like the oem Akrapovic muffler.
Great choice mani. I really like the shape of that SC compared to the stock can. Looks more aggressive but still fits the overall bike. The stock can imo looks lousy.
Mani you are the perfect example and package. Have you considered getting into a few track days so you can also test out products that you install on the bikes on the track. The making the bike lighter for great acceleration, the braking systems and exhaust. I’m sure you will do an excellent job. Once you used to a track you will be posting some awesome great videos as well. You’re not looking for any kill the times or racing don’t no one get it twisted. Just testing the machine out on the track. At a decent pace. You can do a test on a OEM bike and after you upgrade, it’s light weight handling performance overall then test out the difference in a different video. If you haven’t done track days you will get there fast they will teach you and this will be great for the future of these magnificent videos. Kind of something a little different, you sell the product you install your own product and you also tested out on a track. The sky is the limit. This will definitely be some great material.
Thank you. Yes it is something which we have been thinking, but most of us never track these bikes, 99% of owners ride them on the street. It would definitely make great content and a lot of fun to create as well. Also great way to brush up skills, no matter what the level of the rider is, there is always something to learn.
Well nevertheless, keep it in mind. Not only tapping into the street market, but also to track the riders. There are so many new track day rides every year and they have no clue on what should they install on their bike for better performance?. Keep it up. Awesome job
Hey Manny, Any updates for the mirrors on the M1000RR? Those OEM ones look like an eyesore and I know you mentioned in the beginning of this build that you want to create a custom bracket for the Rizomas to fit.
It is something we are working towards. At the moment we haven't had the time to tackle the project, but we will for sure, and make a video on the installation once everything is ready!
Big fan of the SC1R, such a good choice!!haven't seen anyone run this setup!!I thought you would go with the arrow pista!!but I believe it's bigger in size than both the akra and the SC!!I'd go with any of the three I don't like too loud exhausts!!looks mint with the SC by the way!!
It may be because the microphone is able to pick up the tones better since it is more quiet. Trust me I am not a fan of super loud exhausts and the SC1-R is a perfect middle ground.
Audio recording is not going to capture all the in-person nuances due to the loudness, which is why the stock exhaust seemingly sounds better on video.
Good catch, the antisieze was applied afterwards. The ehxuast is a great tone, not too loud like the CR-T mufflers and Akrapovic Shorty, but loud enough with a beautiful deep tone.
Usually a longer exhaust system creates more pull, so you get more power at high rpms, but a short system can give more power at lower revs, and they're lighter.
That SC exaust is ugly. not a fan. that bike looks best with the arrow or a shorty akra. get rid of the Sc. bike is to beautiful for something like that
