This is the build Abyss was meant for. Ive been running this build since Abyss was added. Other intel weapons dont burn mana like VG which you need for the Axe buff. Use Isabellas set from Tempest with it has (abyss attunement) sub featherweight for the chest so stay light in pve also the abyssal gem encasment. In pvp run the build with the lifesteal Artifact ring and sub out featherweight for you choice on armor artifact. Its awesome!
Completely separate from this video- I hope AGS make some kind of lightning wand or sceptre in the future. I like the idea of a lightning based build, but there just isn't a real option for it right now. At least having a lightning attunement would be nice!
Very fun build. Just ran it in M1 B&B. I do see where you are having to fight the mana regen. No matter what as soon as it was down i had it filled back up. Only thing I'm missing is making sure all my armor pieces have Void harnessing. Thanks for the build.
I’ve been playing a similar build for a while now since abyssal released. What I recommend is this rotation Vg sword-tether- oblivion. This debuffs enemies and buffs party while healing. I survive in light armor while taking hits especially with some points into focus for some heals. The sword will constantly refresh oblivion and tether with crits making it Great for single target/boss. Combo this with all GA “aoe skills and watch the group of mobs just fall and just cycle through. No need to change build for any content. Maybe medium armor for M3 but that’s it.
@@poop-yi1lj oh it’s nothing crazy atm. Obvious is Abyssal GA and a VG with life steal and crit chance. I use mainly light armor build to max dps/healing. Attributes tend to be 350 + INT 100+ FOC 100 + CON Sometimes more CON. Just so I can take a hit or two but most time I can brawl close up even in light armor set up with self heals.
@@poop-yi1lj I’m currently focusing on Refreshing -CD reduction Crit chance-helps with always keeping debuffs active when using VG blade attacks Health- survival Void damage.- extra dps (I change this out if there is another perk I like)
I believe you couldve just maxed out your int at 350 then you couldve put maybe the rest of of the 131 points into constitution cause i don't think going over 350 will do more damage
If you go for the other ultimate on void gaunt, I forget what it's called but during a boss fight you can use orb to proc and detonate and then 2 more abilities and reset all your cooldowns, I found doing this opposed to your own build more effective cause I can essentially drain my mana down to 20 whenever I want and get it back at the exact moment I need to refresh the damage rotation so it would look like this. Orb, orb explosion, tether, scream, heavy attack, (abilities come off cooldown) orb, orb explosion, tether, scream (mana is now drained) Switch to abyss. Dump abilities while weaving light attacks (I use execution for more DPS) and then switch,(mana should be around 90ish) void gloves and rinse and repeat.
Do PvP reward tracks carry over across seasons? Because as a new player that doesn't enjoy PvP 100 reward tracks is just insane and is bleaking me out. 22:00 looking forward to that video!
Where does the warlock part come in? Usually in MMOs warlocks are classes that mess with poison, disease, the occult and self harm/healing ? :) When I saw your last video I figured a warlock build would be some poison/bleed/self heal build. Guess thats just me being completely wrong.
But I have been looking at VG/Abyss for when they nerf fire staff since FS is so strong. I personally would like to see bow nerfed into the dirt before fire staff. But I’m not super into the gauntlets and never found a good reason to use VG. But I’m currently just hitting so hard with the abyss and my abyssal runeglass it does make sense to try VG. So ya since I’m not so familiar with VG this is helpful I shall try it out.
Tried sthg similar with the lightning axe, was kinda underwhelming cause i used it as tank with the stopwatch. Proly top build in lazarus as dd though. keep it goin!
Hey Baggins really like ur Homepage but what do u mean with all those filler items "of the Sage" "of the Scholar" "of the Sentry" ??? Where do u get these ? cant find anything about it or is it just random ?
I've been running this for pvp since xpac dropped. I'm a bruiser so the fs/abyss build didn't really interest me as I like to live in clumps. It's not as flashy as the FS version, but abyss/VG feels great at clump fights, especially when you have a group to support/support you.
I don’t know how you get this many stat points. You have like 40 more points than I get and yes I’m including food. My gear score is 697 and with 100 con like you I cannot get my other stats to the same level.
@@BagginsTVI wish the diminishing returns wasn’t so high considering 500 is the highest you can go with attribute points. I understand how difficult that would be to balance though
