not sure if i like this ram 1200. i am in the market for a new truck, cant decide between the new ram with the hurricane engine or the colorado/canyon.
I have felt that FCA/Stellantis was asleep at the wheel by not having a mid size offering the past several years. The Dakota was a solid offering in that market space back in the day.
Ram will screw this up if they sale them in the US. They will try to add another 10k to the price and they will sit just like all their other trucks on the lot.
@@Jason-Samko The 2010 and 2011 were technically Ram Dakotas. Nobody at Ram thought to stop putting Dodge badges on them though. I had the same issue with my 2011 Ram 2500. It had one Dodge badge right above the coin tray on top of the dash.
That truck is 100% a Peugeot who gave up on the American market in 1991 after proving themselves to make unreliable garbage. This is going to be a S. American / Asia truck only. They sell it with a 2.2l diesel option which would be cool but, we can't have things like that here. CAFE regulation means it will never see our showrooms. Instead, Ram is going to foist an EV midsize pickup on us. 🤮 I'm so mad about that because I wanted the new Dakota to be on the Gladiator frame with the pentastar.
People screwed over by Toyota big time. Price still too high for being Chinese. Still great wakeup call for the Industry except the now unstoppable Ford F150.
