Chinese platform with BMW tophat. This will be the norm moving forward. Differentiation between manufacturers is going to very tough when there's so much common underneath and there's technology parity.

German owned, Chinese made - why would it have Union Jack tail lights? (just ask the Italians what they think of that). Probably why you can change the appearance. They might have to restrict the Union Jack in certain markets. Otherwise I like it.

Thats in AussyDollaryDoos. That's about £27,000. That's 3K cheaper than the cheapest Audi A1.

It’s overpriced and underpowered, just get the MG4, bigger, more powerful and a lot cheaper

But the MG4 won’t make you smile every time you get in it. It will get you from A to B, nothing more.

come on! horses for courses, and that is why we need to have a good selection of evs to encourage drivers to change over. ( P.S. I own an MG ev) However, when I was a teenager way back in the last century, ( ! ) my mate in Qld had a cooper, and to be frank, it was the most amazing thing I had ever driven at that time - fair dinkum. To get back into my Mark 1 Zephyr was not that exciting, though I have to admit it was built like a tank, and the front seat was wide enough to get me into trouble !

@@TerryHickey-xt4mf I had a Morris Mini Cooper (with the “massive” 998cc engine, compared to the puny 997cc of the standard Mini of that era). It was a hoot to drive, put a smile on your dial.

Just about to buy a new MG4 77 Long Range rear wheel drive. A much better option!

It might be overpriced but why do you need more power for a city car? We've gone mad needing daily cars to have 300kw and stupidly quick as limits continuing to come down.
