I believe the box information regarding adbv material here is inaccurate and left over from when Champ Labs made the M1 filters, M1-102. Topic M1 shown made 6/19/23 by Purolator US (M&H) and orange/red adbv is silicone. Burn test should prove it with white ash. Personally, never seen an orange/red adbv other than silicone. The previous M1 you cut open also made by Purolator and orange adbv is silicone too. Efficiency "rating", 99%>30um. Too expensive for a blended media filter. Mobil, not Mobile.

But if you can get your hands on one, no other filter will compare. 100% Full Synthetic media that is 99% at 20 or less microns, double helix center core, thickest outer casing and a media that you cannot "pull apart" vs all others. I opened a toughguard with 6 month, very low mileage change. The top paper was sealing with the silicone antidrainback valve. The bottom end paper was 1/8inch off center. The core exposed at leafe spring to allow a bitoleak! Imho. I replaced with 820s motocraft. I feel better now! I used a dremel just behind crimp. Clean cut.
