I don't think that is entirely accurate if they are in the pendulum Scales they are not treated as monsters they are treated as continous spells.. not monsters. If they wanted to change that they would have mentioned any perfomage card then you would be able to pop cards in your Pendulum scale.
@@kingscourge6031they are not treated as continuous spells they are treated as pendulum spells, that's why that new performapal card cannot be summoned even if you have scales and no, you are wrong, it doesn't matter if they are treated as monsters, "monster card" means any monster card on the field including those in the S/T zone and pendulum scales.
@@kingscourge6031that's actually not true it's very simple I wish someone made a video on this. basically whatever a card is, a spell or trap or monster, that's what it always is the whole game. pendulums are Monster Cards. at the core of it, pendulums being half green is simply artistic and saves a lot of text. they quite literally are simply monsters with effects to activate as spell cards that's it. its artistic, it saves text, it gives a new subcategory of searching "pendulums cards" but at the core they are monster cards. the best example is trap monsters that special summon themselves, and the new fusion Magistus Chorizo Chorizo requires an extra deck Monster Card and a Spellcaster Monster Card to cheat itself out of the extra deck. You would not be able to cheat chorizo out with its effect using monsters that are traps. paleozoic traps if we pretended were spellcasters or xyz monsters would not be able to summon Magistus Chorizo. they will always be Trap Cards even if they are Monsters in the monster zone by their effect. Pendulums in the Pendulum Zone while being treated as continous traps or even equip spells, are still and ALWAYS Monster Cards. no card in the game can change that
it does destroy pendulum zone cards pendulums are ALWAYS monster cards even when in the penguin zone as continous spells or even equip spells. same as trap cards that special themselves as monsters, are never monster cards even while in monster zone. they are still trap cards. no card in the game changes this. it's very simple but nobody has really made a video to distinguish this specific ruling even people who know about stuff like magistus chorizo confuse this all the time as this new card shows people confuse it to put it simple. a monster, spell, trap is always that card type forever. a pendulum is a monster card. so that's it. it's very simple lol

@@dleeslife9023 I agree, Konami has Electrumite legal in Master Duel and you ain't see Pend Players even abuse it for degenerate combos. And even if they do, it's a rogue deck that doesn't have the consistency, and resiliency that Meta decks has. So I don't see any problem if it comes back. Just like how they brought back protos and colossus.
A effect that you can activate at will are the ones that need to mention if that is quick or not, the last one to summon itself is a trigger effect so it doesn't have to mention that is quick because the trigger condition is out of your control and the on summon effect neither need to mention that because it happens when it hits the field
