I know this really doesn't change anything, but Hisuian Voltorb and Electrode also share the Grass Electric type with Rotom-Mow. Just thought I'd point that out since it's my favorite Electric type.
I always thought there could be a lot of potential for an ice/poison type based on hypothermia and other temperature-based illnesses, i'd love to see that! I made a regional form of Noibat and a new evolution Shyvern; the premise is that it was left out in the cold and had to adapt to both the environment and the illnesses that were caused by the harsh change (although it's not a ghost type, since its emphasized that it didn't die)
I have a couple Ice/Poison type concepts. One is a wooly rhino mixed with the common cold/influenaza. Why rhino? Pun on a rhinovirus. The other is the vampire squid. In reality it is a passive detritovore (hence the Poison type), that feeds on "marine snow". So I literalized it, plus they are found deep underwater where it's colder
Toxoplasmosis's main effect is simply to make any aversion/fear you may have of cats _lessened_ than it would otherwise be. It's largely asymptomatic because you really can't tell it apart from a normal fondness humans have for adorable carnivorous mammals (such as weasels/ferrets/otters, cats great and small, and all canines). In _mice_ however it manifests as a suicidal lack of fear of cats, which of course leads to them being eaten and passing the parasite on to the cat, which is the parasite's actual goal.
Hey Brandon! So you know how Ogerpon has the gimmick that makes it change it's typing dependingon the mask? Well what if you made another "Of Every Type" video to see what other potential masks it can wear for all the other types! We already have Fire-, Rock-, Water-, and its main Grass Type, so I think we'd all love to see the other types too. Hope you take this as a suggestion sometime! (Btw, this was an awesome vid, you and Ron did great as always :3)😊
Fr! Clearly, the show went out of its way to make them- best friends. Roommates, even. Because how would two women get closer than that? (This is a joke, btw. I'm part of the alphabet.)
For ice/steel type, I thought a regional or convergent sharpedo that would be inspired by one of those barges that break through ice when on the ocean.
Both of their videos you can tell they had a clear script and tried to act it out but the way the portray the lines has this flat yet charming energy to it and I LOVE IT!
I thought up of a Poison-Fairy Cat Pokémon for my hypothetical, "Cat Pokémon of Every Type," idea. Seeing this Poison-Fairy type, as well as the Psychic-Poison cat? I'm intrigued. I do love the sisterly-bond of the Poison-Type Fairy, and I'm very much familiar of the inspiration of the Psychic-Poison kitty... Also, I just adore all of the Fairy-based fakemon!
For some reason I thought I recognized this video from a couple years back and the sudden Colleen Ballinger apology reference was the funniest possible way to learn that this is not in fact an older video
Bro... i want to see Woephy's alive form! Maybe in a Legends: Cornera game? And talking about Cornera, why didn't Oversuvilvus appeared on the Fire/Electric-type part? It would be just perfect since both it and Lorsurge are from a mono-type line that gains the second Fire or Electric-type onto the final form and both have a similar personality!
I am a HUGE nerd when it comes to eels and let me tell you, Oxymoray would 100000000% be my main pokemon if it were in a game. Absolutely obsessed with it. The design, the concept. God. I dream of it being canon.
Actually I design three lines of fakemom with the type combos fire/ice, dragon/fairy and poison/psychic. The fire and ice fakemon is based on Loki (in Norse mythology sometimes he was considered a fire spirit) and in a Aurora borealis. The dragon fairy is based around the story of the sewing fairy. I thought it would be cool having a small fairy that want to look terrifying by making them selves a dragon suit. It looks like a puppet, which it was intended. And the poison and Physic is a snake based in the stereotype of hypnotic eyes of the serpents and Neuro toxins
I actually forgot to mention but yea! It would have an ability that makes Fire type moves to Ice type damage and Vice versa! Or a move called Freezerburn that acts like Flying Press!
I personally always wanted Ash-Greninja counterparts for the other two Kalos starters, also to take up two unused type combos; which I know won’t ever happen but, hey. I can dream. Electric/Grass type Clemont-Chesnaught and Fire/Fairy Serena-Delphox. The idea of those two sound so awesome to me.
I once had an idea for a Fire/Ice pokemon line. It would be a polar bear line that stockpiles sunlight and releases it as heat or flame to seal ice caves or igloo-esque structures it builds for itself and its young. The heat could also help warm its young. The idea came from this idea I vaguely remember hearing as a kid, that polar bear fur was clear, so I somehow thought of solar panels... I don't know why, but it made sense to me at the time.
I'm actually surprised we don't have more Fire/Electric Pokemon. It literally mimics real life since Lightning strikes can start fires and people and animals struck do have burn marks
I once made a Fire starter with a Fire/Electric final evolution based on the Spinosaurus. I also made an Ice/Steel turtle that I named Turtanium, the name being a pun on Titanium.
They made new pokemon for typing that had only been ina form. Hisuian Voltorb and Electrode are FORMS of the Kantonian ones. They can't replace a form with another form, that why they didn't just leave the Luxray for the ice/fairy type
I think a comet would be a good basis for an Ice/Fire type. Its an icy celestial body that flares up and comes off bright in the sky when it gets close to the sun. As for Ghost/Normal, I thought the obvious was Schrodinger's Cat that has a 50/50 chance of taking a certain form when you bring it out. It could work as a Mew-like Mythical interdimensional being
07:15 after seeing this incredible fakemon, based on the shahmaran, I'd really love to see a Pokemon Region, based on Türkiye... since the geographical centre of earth is in Türkiye and it is also on two separate continents, it could be a gigantic region with the most amount of Pokemon living there. Considering the fact, that Türkiye also has a long history (Xiongnu, Göktürks, Seljuks, Othomans...), a lot of lore and location-based animals and plants (Van cat, Sivas kangal shepherd dog and the black rose from Urfa), it's definitaly worth to exist in the Pokemon world ... ... ... well, I could tell you more and more Türkiye-based facts, there is no end! :))
Short sad story. I once read (heard?) something extremely interesting. Was it about biology, maybe an animal? Was it about history? Was it about mythology? Astrology? Astronomy? Who the Hell knows!? 😅 Point is, my first thought was: "this would be just PERFECT for a Pokémon... I never do Fakémon, but this fits so much!" And my second thought was: "obviously, it would be Poison / Psychic." So then I wondered: "Hmmm... are there official Poison / Psychic Pokémon and how many?" To which, after a quick online search, I answered "no" and "zero". I was super happy! WOW! An original typing for my very first Fakémon? Amazing! So... what was the theme again? I remember it was Poison / Psychich, but... what was? To this day, I haven't remembered what it was.
Oxymoray hability should invert the terget resistences against his attacks. So If you use a fire atack against a pokémon thats normally resistent to fire It would do double damage instead, but If you use a fire attack against a pokémon weak against It, It would do half damage instead. Same for Ice attacks.
