Yo Kevin, I hugely appreciate this upload. This video had tons of stuff I want to do to my 86, and I think you should install that carbon fiber hood too: it looks sick!
Thank you for giving us such high-quality videos. I love how detailed your explanations and how-to's are! Keep up the awesome work. P.S.- You make me add something to my "Want to Buy" list with every video😂
I know this is quite a controversial thing to say, people are split, but personally I think turboing the 86 ruins its characteristics of being a lightweight highly responsive car. I really think you should keep yours naturally aspirated, but that is largely a personal preference thing.
Completely understand that point of view. I did very much enjoy that with my time attack FRS, but I am very tempted to go a bit more crazy with this build haha
Please don’t advertise something that isn’t available!!!! Do it when is available makes sense!!! Tired of waiting over 2 months for the blinking module.
It wasn't advertised in this video and I never advertised it when it wasn't in stock. I also clearly stated on the product page that it was on backorder. I apologize for the delay, but sometimes things take time.
Awesome video! Something I gotta mention, being a AWE track edition owner videos do NOT do some of this higher end exhausts justice. When I first started it up, I was freaking mind blown. APEXi is also insane, my buddy has it installed and every person turns their head on the street lol
Are all these parts compatible with the 22 BRZ as well? For some parts like the HKS oil cooler and cold air intake its says Toyota 86 on the website. I know they’re twin cars just wanted to see if you knew for sure it works on both vehicles. Awesome video as always Kevin love your help and advice as always!!
Yooo, Just request or suggest to get different color of driven media t-shirt. The quality on shirt is so nice, if i can wear it everyday i will lol. I need to get those in different color lol.
You should spray paint that little buddy. Awesome vids as always Kevin, I wish you had a Supra because it will probably be my next one and nobody shows every mods and every installation as you do! Such great quality and work
hey man! love the content you put out! hopefully one day i will be trying to get a GT86 or maybe even a GR86 in the future. I would like to ask tho on what camera you use to film your content?
Ordered the mirrors because my old car is a Fiesta that in Europe has beautiful wide angle mirrors. I would also buy a center console cover if you had an option for a base model without a hole for heated seats controls.
I know allot of people who own a gr86 don’t mind the cabin being dark when your driving at night but I like to have some interior lighting on. Kevin please make a video on symphony lighting install for the GR 🙏
Any plans to offer the wide angle mirrors without the blue tint? I have 15% tints and my concern is that the blue tint will make it tougher to see details in the mirror through the window tint. Love the vids btw! Always come to your channel to see if you have reviews or install guides on parts that I'm thinking about picking up.
just found out about your channel. great content & quality! instant like and now subscribed! i have a 99 Miata with hardtop but have thought about getting a BRZ/GT86 instead
I had a carbon keyfob cover when i first had my gr86 but took it off a month after since it reduced my keyfob range. i couldnt press the trunk button and the unlock button would work about 5 foot in range of the car. does the keyfob that you have reduce the range?
Hey Kevin, wondering if you know how to prop back in the tow ring panel on the front grill? Mine popped out of nowhere one day and is sticking out like a sore thumb
I'm in California. Been running a HKS spec L exhaust for a while with no issues, you just gotta get something conservative and keep an eye out for cops haha
Angle them as much towards the cent of the car. That will create a gap on the outside where you can stick your fingers. Then grab the mirror and start prying it off. It will pop off.
There are a few different reasons, the main one being safety. They want to be able to get to you easily in case you were knocked unconscious and or if there is a fire. Windows down also allows you to do point bys to allow for safe passing on the track.
I believe there are some options, but can't comment on whether they provide a good enough seal or not. I will say though that most of the RTV people are finding are likely not from the oil pan seal but from further within the engine.
hey Kevin, great video. Question about your seats. Since they are raceback style and much thinners, does this make the legroom in the rear of the car more appropriate? think the back seats are usable with thinner front seats? thanks!
well isnt that something. I dont need good rear seats but i have two friends Id like to enjoy the car with once I get it, too bad for them I guess @@KevinVo 😂
Can someone direct me to a decent big brake kit for this car? Im completely new to modding cars and I'm worried about buying the wrong kit online. I heard brembos are the best so id like to get one of those if possible
There was a slight fitment issue and I didn't want to have to deal with shipping a large hood back and forth. Sayber was great to work with though so can't recommend them enough.
Has Subaru Fixed the RTV issue? For the 2023 models by updating the design of oil pick up tube. Instead of a flat, single mesh screen, the new “box” design oil pickup tube features five different screens. Is this going to help? Thanks, in advance!
The angle of the mirror was adjusted in both shots so that I was in the center. You aren't able to see more just by moving the mirror, the field of view stays the same.
