The best things I can say about it is it still penetrates carapace very well, reload speed is much quicker, can throw more rounds down and if you spec into executioner stance crit build you can delete ogryn enemies and bosses swiftly.

@@antoniovivas2887 penetration in this context is the ability to shoot through enemies. the new revolver cannot shoot through any of the enemies, nor can it go through teamates. doesnt matter how much damage you can deal on paper if any poxwalker can stop it from damaging the trapper behind the horde

The new revolver has a different manufacturer than the old one.

I think my best advice is to stop thinking and building this like the Zarona revolver, that's its a anti-armor deleter. This is a different weapon with a different niche, that being a quick short-medium range elite and specialist blaster. The thing's uptime, fast fire rate, decent reload, and good enough accuracy and damage make it great for whipping it out taking off a specialist's head...or 5 in a pinch. Forget Hand Canon, try trickshooter and sustained fire, trick shooter if your a good shot and sustained fire actually synergies well with the low mag size and quick fire rate of the secondary. Hope this helps, ran across these blessing synergies when refining a 377 revolver to max rarity and ran out of mats, made quick work of a shotgunner patrol and took a huge chunk out of a monstrosities' hp to my surprise.

@@randomguyblank1616 This. It's a frontline burst gat, and fantastic at dropping gun lines of shooters in exe stance, or dropping specialists with a double tap. It's how have mine setup, flak and specialist, with crucian and speedload, running voc, and weapon specialist. paired with a chainsword, its a fantastic front line killer. I've been having a lot of fun this way, and I'm planning on speccing a zealot in a similar manner

yeah, made vet skilltree a lot more easy to build, you can go build and choose nodes more comfortably now, before I could barely choose nodes from more than 1 keystone collumn, now I can basically take almost all nodes from 2 keystone collumns.

I saved 3 points total after the update, so it was a big improvement! Can pick up more damage and utility.@@sivel7493

Yeah, before the update I was working on a janky build that used two of the buff on ability upgrades and didn't have any space for anything else XD. Now it might actually function.

@@matthewcallow8971 You can actually grab all 3 ability modifiers with Vet now, they aren't so far down, it's actually amazing

vermintide is great tbh but with the new updates im much prefering darktide atm, but ill prolly go back to V2 sometime

@@Highlander1432 Darktide has dystopian sci-fi city at night map. It also has dystopian sci-fi city at night map, and of course who could forget the dystopian sci-fi city at night map.

@@Highlander1432honestly they do a really good job with the maps, but they’re just limited by the setting of a single city. Superficially looks and feels the same on every map

Kinda agree with you, the gun is really fun but the main problem I think is the low precision of its primary fire. They should make it much more precise, even if it means that the fan should be less so. I have been using the fan action to snipe and primary fire for grossly aimed short range shots when it definitely should be the opposite.

Yep. Thats what i saw when i first used it on my vet. Never used it again lol Original revolver is still the best

whell if u havent noticed, they enjoy the challenge lol but tbh it does the job of a ranged weapon just fine when needed , and is better then normal revolver in alot of situations yer not stuck reloading near as often and can do more burst dmg to special up close, so they both have their perks

@@thetrav2100 I can penetrate like 8 dreg gunners in a row in long range with normal revolver. Can the new one do that in long range? nope. It can be good on zealot or psycker i guess but on vet it isnt. My opinion

​@@thetrav2100 yeah the amount of people I've had who try to gatekeep me from using it today is insane wish this community wasn't so toxic compared to v2 but I do think this new revolver does work very well for it's purpose
