Great video and keep having fun. I love Ryobi because of the battery platform, one battery for all of my tools

You should review the Ryobi brushless hammer drill! Of all my Ryobi tools, that is definitely my favorite. I got it almost 4 yrs ago, about $150, came with a 4 ah battery, charger, and bag. I was very excited to buy it since it was the first brushless Ryobi tool released in America, and I have beat the crap out of it and it is excellent, it does everything I want it to. I would even go as far as saying it is just as good as my Milwaukee fuel brushless hammer drill based on my experience and the fact it has held up so well and still works great!

Unfortunately I had opposite experience with my Ryobi brushless drill. It stopped working after only using it a few times on light drilling. But my Ryobi impact that I bought 3 years ago has been great

@@JohnWilliams-dy5dz To be fair manufacturers sometimes have a 'bad apple'. Based on my experience of you were to get another one, I'm sure it would hold up fine, I was able to drill out 4 grade 8 bolts when I was replacing my suspension with mine. I bought a brand new Makita angle grinder once and it caught fire from using a wire brush after about 2 minutes of use.

So...I've been using a 20V DeWalt brushless drill for cleaning dryer vents using the extension piece set. Carrying that 20V around all day on your hip gets tiresome. The DeWalt 12V drill chuck is too small for the vent tool. I saw this 18V Ryobi at a pawn shop new for $50.00 with battery and charger and saw that it had a 1/2" chuck. This Ryobi is the size of the DeWalt 12V, weighs roughly the same and has a bigger chuck and has great power. I bought it and am glad I did. It works GREAT! The only downfall is the tool clip screw is some obscure size that a commercial maintenance tech of 2 decades didn't have. I had to tap out the threads and I tossed a DeWalt clip on it.

Everyone always touts the no more brush changes in the brushless tools, but how many people have actually ever even had to change a brush? Fact is most times you break the tool before the brushes wear out or Friggin DeWalt changes battery platforms before the brushes wore out. In 27 years I have changed 3 sets of brushes. One in a Porter cable belt sander, a Bosch grinder and a Milwaukee circ saw. All three saw a decade of hard use before needing brushes. Now they probably could all use a new set except the grinder because it burned up lol. But for the ridiculous price of brushless tools with batteries to replace premium construction tools, 20 bucks a decade is peanuts. I seriously doubt any brushless tool will last a decade. Oh, BTW Dan. A college bud died from throat cancer from diet coke. His doctor said it was his massive consumption of soda period.

TIM from Canada I do not know why you do not put enough power in your impact socket drill.... I have a couple there is just no power Ryobi impact drivers are lacking the power you need to do the job I have found Ryobi need to be putting more power in impact socket drill this is my.. taking on Ryobi I am looking into getting Milwaukee just for impact socket drill well that is my review because I have the Ryobi there’s just no power I have some Dewalt they are lacking the power I am needing looking into Milwaukee ... Will never leave Ryobi but there are some stuff that Ryobi needs to work on and power is a big part of their drills if you want to get into the main stream put more power into your impact drills

Diet Coke: If you start having problems with your prostate, stop drinking diet soda. Some men are sensitive to the phenylketylalanines used in diet soda to make it sweet. I speak from experience. When I was about 40 and my prostate was acting up, my doctor said stop drinking diet soda. I stopped, and for the last 30 years, no more prostate problems. Good luck.

Tim from Canada I am back this is my question for Ryobi Home Depot Canada where I am in Ontario Canada just city I am in has a couple Home Depot‘s there are two Home Depot‘s close to me and I can tell you right now the Home Depot near me does not have RYOBI HP DRILLS What day do have is maybe two or three of the small and HP TOOLS What I have found the city I am in Canada Home Depot has little to no Ryobi tools trying to find them is damn near impossible let me tell you why this COVID-19 government bullshit is a scam and this is how dealers can get away with not sending in their tools for example. June 2020 I was at Home Depot and I was looking for a Ryobi tools and there was contractors there I was in the line and we got to talking to contractors were telling me this COVID-19 bullshit has put a big strain on the building aspect of third jobs they are not getting the materials they are needing it is taking a months. On back order to get their orders out because Home Depot and most of the building supplies are not being sent I know because I was talking to the people this is what you people need to do get out there if people are interested send them a few tools see if they like them or not it would be great someone look me up.. start sending me tools but I do not have a big channel like this for two people to drill a piece of wood using Ryobi tools this is what I see I know I have the Ryobi I can tell you how they were. ... this is my review of what I see.. if you’re watching this video you might see something different in that is fine what I see and what you see at two different ideas same video no one is right no one is wrong...

Tim from Canada I am back I have watched a little bit more of this video and let me tell you if you need to people to do a job to drill a piece of wood Ryobi is not the truth for you you should not have to have two people in fool around with the battery to get the power my suggestion is put all your power in all your batteries from your 1.5... battery this is the lowest battery you have put the power you have in to your 9.0 oh batteries every battery should have the power of your highest battery what I mean is whatever your highest battery is that is the power all battery should have from your lowest battery has no power to your highest battery may be a little power but if you’re or needing two people to drill a piece of wood... where are you OB is not the tool for this job stick to drywall maybe put in a few finishing screws but for a pro job like this where you’ll be is not the tool for you.. TIM from Canada I have the Ryobi tools I know what I’m talking about there is no power in your batteries you need to look into this.. this is my review I know what I’m talking about

Let me make a big comment on this one if you were using your batteries on Ryobi . The big mistake I see right here you do not have the power in your batteries to do the job and when you have to switch to a bigger battery to do your job this is a big mistake what you need to do put all your power into your lowest batteries every battery from your lowest battery Twitter highest battery should have the maximum power... you’re putting into your job for example a 4.0 battery is going to have much more power then 2.0 batteries here is my suggestion to you put the same amount of power that is what you were putting into your biggest batteries should be the power in all batteries because your biggest mistake right here in this video using this very large bit your battery does not have the power to do the job and you put a bigger battery in big mistake. ... Ryobi tools are made for one thing all your drills all your impact drills are made for just putting in screws into drywall that is your power. .. this is my review because they have them Ryobi drills I have use them there is no power you have to have 4.0 battery or higher to get the power and even then there is not enough to do the job you should get out of the DIY category and move into pro because a lot of people now are the pros using your tools you need to put more power into your batteries. .. this is my review TIM from Canada I have the Ryobi tools and nobody’s actually what I’m talking about... it would be nice if I had a channel just like this and the Ryobi people sent me the drills and the compact kits to do the reviews would be nice because I can tell you right now there’s something wrong when you have to use two batteries to do a job that should take two minutes. When you use the smallest battery you can with Ryobi and you switch to a bigger battery I do not think you have the power to do this job look at the size of this word there is no way and I mean no way this Ryobi drill has the power to do this job you need to look into Milwaukee just rail which is a enough power to do your job TIM from Canada. I have the tools I know what I’m talking about..
