likely the best tutorial i've seen for lofi, tbh. most of the vids that i've found have been real entry-level, or lacking detail. I do wish there was a section addressing the heavy sidechaining those guys use to make their bass/kick sounds so clear; maybe in part 2?

just sidechain your instruments and turn up the release to your liking? don't want entry level videos but you're asking VERY entry level questions. sidechain is NOT a hard concept to grasp and should be one of the first mixing techniques you learn.

Also wish NI Maschine would update its auto-detect function in its sample edit window that could ALSO detect the groove of breakbeats. Then, you could set it as a global swing-template or on select groups or patterns. Or, along with that LIVE time-stretching they always say will come in song mode this coming Neverember 32nd, you could adjust the swing up or down.
