Hi there-I cannot see the collabs anymore-in the earlier versions I have seen a kinda list…now I see the songs I have recorded, I see the number of participiants, but I cannot see who it is…any solution for this? And your video was great…solved my problems.Thank you

Thank you! Glad I can help. And yes, you can use them, but I think I mentioned it in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mknMuI-eyAs.html , you will probably record your voice through the phone's mic, not your headphone's mic. So you have to sing right into it, probably.

Good one... I know , u hve already explained about reverb, room effect settings.. But i am bit confused abt room size{reverb character}, how to choose them.. Is it related to room which we are singing?

Personally, I'd always choose reverb amount a bit less % than reverb character. I normally use 15/25 or 20/30. And sometimes I increase reverb character to 40 or 50 if it has to be very reverby

I'd consider high reverb as sounding "far away", low reverb is "standing very close" to the listener. Roomsize makes the "echo" or longetivity of the reverb sound longer

I just want to sing.I had enough trouble trying to learn how to use the app since they don't give you any instruction's at all.Thank you for the help you give to us Herb. I used to use 6 room and 58 reverb on Super Studio and now if I use those same settings it sounds horrible. I have just found out that 30 and 76 are similar to what I was using, Similar but different. I wish they left it alone.

Thanks for the practical tips. Pluease emphasise the volume cuz its sadly the case really awesome vocals can be unlistenable if TOO LOUD. Too much reverb is off putting but drowning out EVRYTHING with loud vocals has ruined otherwise really unique talents. Simple but such a common fault.

Hello my name is Adrian and I want to thank you for your tutorials. I bought my Smule app about a month ago and I don't see a lot of the settings that you were explaining. When I hit superstudio option before or after a song I do not get any of the verb settings that you show. I can go up to the microphone icon which is below the volume by card and then it gives be circled icon options which are labeled as follows; Mellow Yellow, spotlight, polish Karma stage Karma NuWave, punchy, Etc can you please figure out why I don't have the settings that you were describing? Hi, if you choose super studio before or after singing the song, you should be able to tap on that microphone button under the volume button you described. It shouldn't show you the styles anymore (hexagon icons with video filters) but just the audio filters like super studio, polish, opera fx, dry, canyon fx, super pop, stardust etc. If you choose super studio there, it'll give you two options to do. Change the reverb amount and the reverb character. Reverb amount is set to be what used to be just Reverb. The reverb character is what used to be Roomsize

Quick question for you sir I have recorded songs singing with people on Smule you know the duet option when you don’t have an account if I delete the song can other people still hear it or no also can the person that I sung it with still hear it please note that their pre-recordings that other people put on there that way other people can sing with the recording And they’re not original songs they are actual songs artist came out with like Babyface and Beyoncé please let me know thank you

If you delete the recording on a duet, the duet should disappear for everyone. If you delete your account I think the same happens

Hi, do you use android? After finishing the song and before saving it, where you can re-listen , you should be able to find a small bar, just like the volume bar, that lets you change the delay of your voice layer. Play around with it until you think your voice matches the instrumental when you replay it

That's because on iOS there shouldn't be the need for it. It's automatically synced. If for whatever reason it is not then it might be a glitch from Smule and you would have to report that problem to them

hey Andri do you know how to reverse a song? like the swipy thing when your singing so when you make a mistake you cant reverse it but since the updates I cant reverse anymore. Do you know how?

Hey! What phone do you have. Android or iPhone? For now as far as I know scrolling through a song while singing and repeating a part is only possible on iPhones. You just need to tap on the screen of the song to stop it and scroll through the lyrics on your screen. Alternatively you can do that on the bar at the bottom of the screen too.

They do appear from people that you are following. Sometimes smule pushes the partner artist's OCs on there as well!

Hi, it might only be possible if you do video live jams, and only if you're the host of the life jam. I'm not 100% sure though since I haven't tried it in a while

Regarding the reverb, don't you think you got them reversed? I would think reverb character is reverb on the voice and reverb amount is the room size.

No, I'm certain they're not. Normally reverb was the left one, but here they switched them for some reason

Hi, it should be described in this video. Copyright infringement won't cause any damage to your channel, but the original creators or owners of the rights will get a share of the monetization. If your channel is even monetized

Hey, you should be able to go into Edit of the song, and change the still image of the video with that little time line drag. Once somebody joined you just with audio, you won't be able to change that still frame anymore. But you can still put another cover picture there. I'd change the still frame on your OC so that when people join you with audio, that cover pic will appear

Hi. I don't know the effect she sings like the wind. But airbrush amount is a visual effect that makes your skin look smoother the higher you set it

Hi, during the recording there has to be some kind of button either on the bottom or top right to turn it off. Maybe even before the recording. Check all the options. I don't remember where it was exactly since it's been a while for me

What do you mean on the feed? You can open a song and click on solo or group, and before you save the first layer make it private so you can do it on your own, if it's a group song of only you

Hi! Sorry for the late reply. It's an easy fix. While you are singing a song, go into the volume setting, where you can turn down hearing your own voice as well as the "guide". Turn the guide down all the way to 0%.

Hi, it might depend on the phone you have. Can you choose different settings though in a group recording or duet?

As far as I know u can’t override in an iPhone sadly . I’m guessing ur using apple ?

It was possible on both android and iPhone to override. It could be that now you don't have to activate it anymore. It'll probably simply work. When you join someone, before singing, press the little mic button before you press start. You'll be able to choose different Sound fx

@@HerbAndriMusic correct the setting is not in the apple phones. You have to do it each time when u join . The android users though seem to be able to override the video fx which apple can’t to my knowledge .. any work around that u know of ?

It isn't in the android nor the apple settings anymore. That means, if you're in a recording, before starting it, you should be able to choose a different sound fx. You choose any kind of Style first, and then go on that little microphone symbol. If it doesn't appear at all then contact support@smule.com

Hi, do you want to use smule or just listen to songs on smule? If it is just for listening, then you can use you laptop, otherwise for singing you'd need a phone or tablet. Just connect your laptop through HDMI to your TV and search for the right HDMI channel, normally HDMI 1 or 2 on your TV

Hi, did smule tell you to get VIP to be able to sing more? I haven't heard of you just being able to sing 5 songs when you're non VIP. Ask support@smule.com to help you in that case

Hey! So, you have reverb amount and reverb character. Reverb amount is 20 and reverb character 30 in that case, 20/30

You need to choose a style, it's the hexagon symbol on the bottom of your screen before you record. If you choose super studio you'll have reverb character and reverb amount once again

Hi, there's another option next to the volume option and FX option to set the timing of your recording in order to synchronize it.

Yes! Not always, but try setting back your clock on your phone, in general settings, and close and open Smule again. Set the time back to a point in time, when the song was still open

Do you sing with headphones? Because I've only experienced that when I tried to sing without headphones just to try it out, and it didn't let me save it, wanted me to sing again. Other than that I don't really know. Ask support@smule.com

It's a good app but only with one big problem. The changing of scale. Not every song is easy to sing at the same scale. 🙋

That is true. For certain songs sometimes you can find one that's in a different key (low key, high key or just mentioning which key it is)

Did you open the song for the group? If so, you should be able to tap on the three dots "..." next to it and tap "delete". If you didn't open it and only joined it, then unfortunately you can't delete the whole song, but you can maybe hide your joins. Same, tap the three dots and tap "hide". If the option "hide" doesn't appear, you can close smule, set your phone's clock back to the time when the song was open 🔓, and then go back into smule and try again!

Hi... I always wonder if it's true that using Iphone is better for Smuling. I have been using my android phone all these while, Honor 8, to be precise. I paired it with Iphone or Apple earphones ( the one with 3.5 jack) for Iphone 6S and below. I love the sound so far. But, recently, that phone is dead. tried to revive it but failed. So, I have been using Samsung A21S with Iphone earphones and it sounds less interesting than previously. I am contemplating on buying Iphone 6S or iphone 13 pro max now. I can't decide. I know both are different. But, has anyone hre tried using Iphone Pro max for smuling? What's the outcome? Please. Need help! Thanks...

I think in general you can't do anything wrong with any iPhones above of 6 and 6S.i have a 6S myself and use it for smule. It works just fine 👍🏼

There should be an option to turn the piano off. Before you sing the song, look around in every option /buttons you have and where you can turn it off. I think you can also do it during the recording, down in the bar where you can change your volume of hearing yourself or maybe on the top. I'm not quite sure

I remember I used to have this problem too for a short period of time. I guess you've already tried reinstalling the app and deleting your caché? The best bet would probably be to wait until the next update comes out where they normally fix the bugs. Or wait until smule answers, it can take a few days or a week for them to answer. Sorry that I can't help you

@@HerbAndriMusic Thanks bro for your reply I really appreciate I find something this is what happening when adjust reverb or room size while joining someone this happen .And I cant see the message of saving the collab after continue the message is not appearing . This problem started when Smule added so many different studios this is what I feel I may be wrong before this every thing was fine .

Then you should be able to edit your profile and give it a background pic etc :) it looks slightly different on Android than iOS, but you should be able to choose a color too. Just check smule settings to change your profile. Go to profile of your smule account and tap on options

Hi, unfortunately I don't know since I've never been flagged. It could be that you get automatically blocked by the person that flagged you. As far as I know, when you're blocked you're still able to see that person's profile, but some songs disappear and you might not be able to see the profile picture or description.

It’s like when she opens this other persons profile . This error occurs , only for this particular profile , for all the other followers or friends the page opens when clicked except this particular case !! Hi, there's a button on the bottom right of the album cover /song cover photo where it says "moment". Tap on it and it'll change to "Full song". That should do the trick :)

@@munisaarslanova824 that could be a problem of your phone's headphone jack. If the sound is quiet and the mic doesn't work,the phone might have trouble recognizing/connecting to any type of headphone. I don't think it has to do with smule

Hi, I noticed that my android device has the night mode but my iPhone doesn't yet. On Android you can go into your settings by first going to your profile, click on the settings button and then you can activate the night mode

I think it only works for iPhone. But you can do it through your phone's settings. Go into your phone's settings, look for the app and clean the caché there 😊
