Twitch would need to update it. Supposedly there was going to be an update to see the overlays like we had previously on the "snap" Twitch app and Mixer. For now, you need to just use a phone, tablet or laptop unfortunately.

Since I have had the Xbox Series X I have learned new things. This vid being one of them. Another one is I never knew when you buy a 4 k tv,you have to go in and turn it on. I have a Phillips which I have owned for a year a never knew that.
My webcams light shows on and it also had worked before but doesn’t work most of the time. It worked when you started the stream directly through the twitch app any idea why my webcam works sometimes but not often?
When I do that it says Sorry something went wrong. Try this again in a while. But when I go on the adult account it works fine. On the kids it says that any way to stream on the kids accounts I really would love for you to reach back to me
For some reason I have my new twitch account signed in but when I go to the broadcast menu on the Xbox menu it says a different twitch account when I try to stream. Any help?

Help dude....Iv a nu perfectly working logitech c922 pro stream webcam and the inbuilt mic jus doesnt activate with picture, picture is all i get. I have a greyed out option where is says turn mic on/off & have navigated every setting. I bought a headset w/ mic plugged it in & it works but its kinda not the point when u buy a xbox recommended webcam surely. Im disabled in a wheelchair so headsets/additional mics/wires are a issue. I jus wanned the ease of plugging webcam in & done. Ive searched & all but given up so thought id ask u & your community cheers
I changed my twich name on my phone and it logged me out of my Xbox so when I go into my twich on Xbox it tells me to sign in and I go to the website but it just takes me back to twich and says that thing where you put the code in doesn't exist

I like the video very useful for me as im starting out my grind but my problem now is figuring out how to communicate with my chat Vs my party in game. At times when I acknowledge people coming to watch my stream or answer questions in stream my party chat can hear me and it get annoying at times. What do I need to switch for party to stream chat? I’m streaming strictly on my Xbox
Bro with the previous twitch link we couldn't hear others if they aren't playing on xbox (party or game chat). Has it been fixed? Will people be able to hear my friends playing with other consoles ?
Today for the first time I was able to hear the game chat from 2 friends playing alongside with me. One was on Playstation and the other on PC. I thought it was some kind of bug.
hey Scratch, new streamer here and i have a subscription through lighstream and i can't get my overlays to go onto stream through my xbox. i've had it pulled up on my computer and i have game source in every scene, destination set to lighstream. done everything every video has said, yet nothing lol any ideas?

I started streaming directly from my Xbox on twitch. Is there any way that I can mute myself in party and talk to chat? When I mute my mic, chat can’t hear me. Or do I need another mic?

Hi I don’t know if u know how to fix this but when I am trying to stream with my friends the little Notification does not show up for stream and my stream can here my party chat but I turned on the party chat what u just showed in the vid but when I clicked off of it it shows that’s it’s off don’t know I u can help me but if u can text me and tell me that would be great thanks
Let's say you add the party audio, but it doesn't ask the people in the party to include their audio, what would they have to do or I would have to do?
In the party chat they should see an option to include it. You have to enable it. I believe it's at 3:31 in the video you can see where you have to have it on.
i use this to stream and then create that stream into a YT vid but when i look at the footage, the audio of the gameplay and the mic audio is always like 2 seconds out of sync with the gameplay. Is there anything I can do to fix this? its really annoying
You might have to record the audio separately then lay it over the video to match the timing. Recording program is easily googled and there’s all sorts of free video editing software out there.
Your transparency settings are not on my xbox or other users it’s missing. You can just select where is but there’s no transparency or size options how did you get that
was really hoping this would cover overlays because i hate that twitch doesn't have a chat option for the overlay but mixer did.... mixer had so many more options than twitch without the use of a pc at all so now that all we have is twitch i feel like we've been stuck taking a step backwards if you dont have a capture card or all that crap. honestly just hating twitch so far but its the only option now :(

I am looking all over for an answer. It seems like the privacy rules on Xbox are strict. So, in party chat your friends give permission to be heard on your stream. This doesn't happen in game chat for obvious reasons. I believe that's why you cant hear anyone in just game chat. I think you can use a capture card to bypass the game chat issue though, Hope this helps a little!
