Problem with all suction cups are gradually it’s suction power get reduced especially the one holding in car windshield due to consistent heat absorption. Hope it last for two years. Anything above is bouns

1. I don't like marble because over time it will dry out in the sun and break. Prefer gluing to the windshield. 2. Is there a sun visor for example a white rectangular sticker that you stick on the windshield and attach the camera to it and the lens peeks out of the sticker the main thing is to protect the camera body from direct sunlight?

Hi Traveltech, Have recently started watching your video and they are quite informative and extremely well articulated. Appreciate the good work that your doing. just have a question. My Dzire 2012 model Audio system is due for change. I also have a need for a dashcam. Is there any single system that serves the purpose of Car stereo as well as dash cam (or) is it better to delink them ? Request your kind opinion. thanks.

Looks good but this doesn’t get the rotation feature, so can’t really use the dashcam for cabin view when ever required

Yes. Cannot be used to rotate towards the cabin in case of A500 or A800 series. Can rotate in case of M200/M300.

Is there Any lifespan for these suction mount anna, because the heat generated on windshield is to high which might reduce them from holding onto the windshield.

As far as I have used these new mounts in my car, I haven't faced any issues. I parked outside in the sun all day to test it's grip and it performed very well. I will continue to use them and will update in their long term usage in a few months.

If you have sunfilm installed on the front windshield, then yes, the suction is very strong and might tear the windshield on constant removal & installation

Love your channel. Great content as usual. The 70mai are good but they have lithium battery which i have heard can overheat and catch on fire. Is is true ? Anyways Can you pls recommend me a dashcam under 15k ?

The aspect of dashcam battery overheating and catching fire is unheard of in recent times. Smartphone batteries? Yes they can swell up and burst as smartphones are powered by batteries. Dashcams are powered by DC current. Even battery based dashcams. Battery only exists to maintain time and to finish recording files when the power is suddenly cut off (when you turn off the car). Hence the risk of dashcam battery catching fire is relatively rare.

Is this also fine for a very hot summer climate in Hyderabad? I'm concerned about long term usability, battery explosion, heating, swelling etc. The last thing I want is the battery to cause damage to my car. Please suggest.
