@@vampireguy92ryan81 A single Hop-ear can turn any 2 spent Mimighoul into either a Herald of Arc Light or Merry Melffys during your opponents turn, so they definitely have a decently diverse arsenal of annoyances
Mimighoul Maker and Master are both pretty crazy. May be able to elevate a gimmicky archetype into relevance once/if Fiendsmith/Snake-Eyes gets a shin kicking.
Mimighoul is a fun rogue archetype. I think it can be very strong in a hybrid deck with jar or obviously the ritualprincess cards that deal with flipping. The stall power of the field spell is not to be underestimated either.
The first 2 cards sound interesting for some kind of paleazoic deck, the first card can let the deck xyz summon on the opponents turn after using any trap, the second recycles your paleozoics to use next turn, without losing card advantage
Spright uses the Level 2 aqua once they make their typical Toad board, during opp standby phase, use Toad effect to summon Swap frog > Swap frog effect to dump new card to grave > summons from grave when you use Spright Double Cross to reborn Toad after it's first negate > recycle Toad back to Extra after it's second negate > during opp battle phase use new Level 2 to make Toad again for a third negate in the same turn or even Herald of the Arc Light so u don't have to run Melffy bricks
Said card should also have a small chance of letting the opponent add any spell, just so people get tempted into activating it (and let their friends learn how Fern feels)
I love Aerial Eater, it's a nice retrain for "Air Eater" (an original Forbidden Memories monster from the 722 lineup for those who don't remember), this set is getting better and better.
Y'all not seeing it. That card can summon flip monster in the game face down on the opponent side of the field. There are some crazy flip monsters in this game. Plus soul and Luna sound amazing in this deck
that level 2 tuner is cool in like paleo frogs so you can make toad on your opponents turn which is kinda sick but aint no way anyone is going battle phase knowing this is in the grave vs paleo lmao
@@lightningboltc2683exactly, exactly, card is actually VERY good for Paleo, they need to make some paleo Hand traps and a searcher to bring it together, that would make the archetype actually playable. Maybe another XYZ that can tag into the other two make the 3mat only 2 mat and give it a Battle phase effect, Frogs and Paleo’s biggest issue is they are all very small and struggles to kill
Hilarious to me how when TCG tries to do archetypes they always seem to be a bit underwhelming but when they do single cards we get stuff like Necroquip and Garura that make OCG archetypes even more op
Necroquip Princess seems like it would work well in Fiendsmith Chimera. You can bring it out off just Fiendsmith Tractus or Fabled Lurrie if you don't draw the Engraver. -> Link 1 into Requiem -> summon Engraver from Deck -> Equip Requiem to Engraver -> contact for Necroequip Princess -> Trigger the draw effect of Necroequip with Cornfiend Coatl or Nightmare Apprentice -> Rank 6 with the Necroequip and Nightmare Apprentice for Lars or Beatrice -> Beatrice can send Engraver from deck to graveyard -> Engraver's Grave Eff to bring itself back. -> Rank 2 with the Beatrice for Sequentia -> Sequentia for Lacrimosa into your Apollousa play. TLDR: Makes Nightmare Apprentice + Tractus or Lurrie into a draw 1 + Appo (without using normal summon) + protected full combo Mirror Swordknight
that nomenclature card seems crazy for insect decks and inzektor specifically like imagine being able to get 2 resonance insects or doing even more general inzektor shenanigans
Using The League of Uniform Nomenclature Strikes targetting Resonance Insect would be kinda wild. You would still need a second body to Link of, since this lock you out of Almiraj, but still, thats pretty strong
I feel like Mimighouls should have another boss monster named something like "Mimighoul Madame" who further helps with resetting the Flip effects. Power couple with Mimighoul Master.
@fracazer I feel like between Master Ham and Chimera Fusion/Gazelle there should be a way to do it consistently. Especially with the trap to bring out master, maybe run some with 3 trap trick?
@@erikrowley3434I definitely feel like you should run three Triple Tactics Thrust, three Ready Fusion, and one Instant Fusion with varying levels of Mimighoul Room in the deck to get into stuff like Guard Dog easier.
Okay I now I hope these guys get some more support for mimicgoul, if you run enough bord control cards like there can only be one for example would make these guys more horrorfying.
OMG, Zapper Shrimp triggers on special Summon. This means you can get the effect by summoning it off of the White Woods level 8. This card is incredible
The slime and the pendulum are both ok options for Paleo specifically. Kuebiko isn't as bad as it sounds since most interruptions they make these days do actually target. Its biggest issue is just that the link 2 has a better target. Kochobo is a Gimmick Puppet extender that you can use each turn since it can come back from the GY and they usually only need Xyz anyways. League is the worst one here but it might be playable in Stun. But it feels like you really missed the mark with how good Necroquip is. It is essentially a Link 1 for Fiendsmith which means you only need any 2 bodies on field to full combo with the deck now instead of 3. It makes Fiendsmith even more splashable for every deck and the decks using it now need even less resources for the combo.
Kochobo could be good for kashtira decks or other niche ritual decks. Also it looks like Paleozoic might be back on the table with that magicicolloidal monster.
Kochobo Is pretty good , It keeps to be an extender every your turn for xyz plays.and being LV 7 It does have potential for machine decks to make arise Heart.
Thing with mimighoul, theyre good in the sense theyre not trying to seem over the top on first wave. All in all theyre a gimmick deck. They can flow well in sequence and arent just strwight up dead in your hand as they all can something (looks at trysta and warrock). Art is so cool so im down for them. All we can r3ally hope for a 2nd wave is potentially a higher level monster, some form of negate "when this card is flipped face-up, negate the effects of all monsters you currently control with a higher original ATK than this card" or somwthing like that. Also some generic flip monster support
The idea appears to be to clog your opponents zones and out grind your opponent till you can win and the field spell forces your opponent flip your monsters faceup.
This seems like a solid foundation for a deck, I just think they need a bit more backrow to support the playstyle, maybe a archetypal handtrap in the likes of Arias.
Woth Mimighoul Dragon, is a chain 1 and chain 2 effect, so the destruction effect resolves after giving control to your opponent. Or at least that's what I understand from the effect
"In sequence" means they are the same Chain Link, and are applied in the order listed, so Dragon would destroy your opponents field and then return to yours. Details from Yugipedia below Cards with bulleted effects (●) that resolve in the same Chain Link specify whether they resolve simultaneously or sequentially (if sequentially, effects are applied in the order they are listed). In these cases, each effect activated resolves independent of the success of the other(s). The text "in sequence" indicates that the bulleted effects are applied sequentially (e.g. "Gravekeeper's Oracle", "Advance Zone").
@@JustNutzProd weird, never got a notification for your comment. But anyways, realized that after. Played too much Master Duel so thinking in different rulings and not the Lightsworn dog
I will probably build a Mimighoul deck partially cause there are some fun little things I can do with Mimighoul Maker with cards like Immortal of Thunder and Dice Jar.
Zapper Shrimp is just a strict upgrade to Formula Synchron in White Woods. Mimighoul looks like fun but probably needs another wave of support to be particularly competitive. The 2 new fusions are just unnecessary way to make Fiendsmith even better (does lead me to believe Beatrice could be hit sooner though as these do help keep the Fiendsmith engine more relevant even if Beatrice does go). The League of Uniform Nomenclature Strikes is just a card that's begging to be broken in some way. Everything else just feels a little bit like filler though
Jesus Chris the rarities. 2 ultras and 5 supers. Konami: will you enter the dungeon? Me: sure.... if I can find the place. Also sol and luna now has a reason for the weird reprints.
Bro out the gate you saying something wild lmao. The aqua is amazing! It's obviously meant to be played in Paleo and finally gives Swap Frog a replacement for Ronintoadin as there hasnt been a self-reviving level 2 aqua since it got banned. Add the fact that it lets you quick-synchro into Herald of Arc light or quick-Xyz into Toad and this card is nuts Legit just dump it off Swap and activate a Paleo; I don't get how that's "niche" or "clunky" lol Edit: Omg and then I get to the Dragon... Paleo Frog is EATING
with the mimicghoul spell since i calls for to flip show morphing jar 1 or 2, rigorous reaver each player discards a card, or fire sorcerer, banish 2 radom cards from your hand: inflict 800 lp to your opponet, and show the mimicghoul archfiend, best use imo.
A mimighoul mirror match sounds confusing. Isnt in worlds they have to have the same sleeves? If so trying to put decks back together could be annoying
Mimighoul looks like a ton of fun! And flip monsters are my favorite subcategory of monsters, so happy there’s a fun twist on the idea. Plus we have plenty of crazy good flip monster support to pair well with this archetype! I would love a free agent card that’s a fusion monster that searches a beast warrior monster upon fusion summon. Bonus points if it’s a waifu card. Perhaps a dark monster too, with a belly dancer motif 👀👀
Mimighoul is an archetype I would love to play. Run three Book of Moon and Book of Eclipse to flip monsters while controlling the board. Using Floodgate Trap Hole just seems mean. Quaking Mirror Force seems to be a nasty card to run too. I know these might not be competitive but I see a fun deck.
You would never use book of moon on the Mimighouls bc you never want to flip them back facedown. They are only good Facedown when they are on opponents side
The fusions are just wtf... giving FS engine/ fiend decks more gas and easy bodies... random other cards are niche. Mimighoul is cool a bit slow cuz flip deck, but with 7 more they could potentially control the field and continue to annoy the opponent.
The funny thing about Mimighoul Cerberus is its special summon of the monster to the opponents field means they can summon one less time before they can be Nibiru'd because it's them special summoning.
Penguin and Ninja support? Sol and Luna might be playable too. League could benefit Cyberdarks too (turn 1 board ends on Cyberdarkness Dragon, which negates multiple times if it has multiple equips).
