Checking out an early look at SuperSpec Rallycross which should see a public demo in the upcoming Steam NextFest. The full game will include a GP mode, quick race, time trial, and local multiplayer.

Love these type of games. This will be going in the collection with circuit superstars and rush rally origins. Just want someone to make a toca type game in this style with real circuits

Looks nice, they need to work a little on AI breaking they break waaay to late on the second track which I think makes it then easy to win, if not I think the difficult would be spot on

Yeah I gave the a.i. slack at this point. It's a pretty good start but super early, plenty of tweaks still to come. And we still have a higher difficulty in full release not available in the demo.

I hate games where you have to upgrade your car race after race. I just want to choce a car and race, like old Amiga's Skidmarks. if they eliminate this thing, it could be a great game

I don't believe this game has upgrades like that, just unlockable cars to drive. To my knowledge at least.

The feel of the car is a lot different though. Feel much heavier in CSup I'd say. But just a style choice thing not a bad thing. This is arcadey smooth.

Yeah I don't know if I'd go that far just yet but it's got a very solid base feel wise and looks wise so far. I really enjoyed what I saw. And I dont know what the final vision is but I'd love to see this keep growing content wise. CSup has online play, damage / wear, and custom race / championships for example.

You can see the inspiration in some ways but they are just both top down racers. This feels likes it's own game when racing, different takes on how the cars feel between them.
