Black Myth Wukong is what im really looking forward to. It might have taken years, yes, but you can tell they definitely took their time to make the game worth it from the demos.
They all look nice but because they're all in UE5 and all using their tech like lumen and whatnot, they just all end up looking the same which means none really stand out. That said, Chrono Odyssey and Wukong looks interesting.

I agree with you they are very similar these days, but you're looking at a certain type of game here, I thought some were quite unique, like Project Jinyiwei
What games don't look the same these. Every fighting, horror, soul, sports, pretty all of them look the same as the one before. All we can do is see one that catches our interest and hope for the best nowadays.
yeah some have different mechanics. But a lot look very similar to what we have seen in recent years. if I have to be brutally honest, though, when you buy a game, you're not just spending the money to buy it initially, you are also spending, however many tens or hundreds of hours which could've gone to work, Study, exercise or another game. when I play something like Batman Arkham knight, Skyrim, cyberpunk, witcher 3 or elden ring or rd2 So many other games have taken or just have very similar mechanics to these games that just make them feel kinda like reskins? And it makes me wonder if realistically is the game worth the money and time? For example Black myth wukong looks awesome, but will it be a new game, or something that feels like another game reskinned. Im not trying to be pessimistic, just realistic
The Plucky Squire, King of the Bridge, and Skate Story come to mind. I think there's enough original games already out there yet to be played, especially older gen

Souls games. Especially elden ring. Has been a lovely way to kill time, patiently waiting for the next elder scrolls game damnit. Just picked up god of war too.
The saddest part about all these games is that we won't probably be alive to see them because they're Chinese and Korean studios in which we all should know what that means. 👀
same bro. literally "wait for an attack" - time dodge/parry - hit boss1 or 2 times - rinse and repeat. and the difficulty arises from bosses 3 shotting you. playing a new one you'll just need to waste time learning atk patterns... that's why I got bored of Elden Ring after 1 playthrough.. same old formula..
