New Update TONEX 1.5.1: Creating, Editing & Saving Presets | What You Need To Know 

Hi Jason! First of all thanks for all the great content you've been posting. I've had the Tone X for a few months and your videos are very helpful! However, in my opinion, this specific part of the update on the software wasn't good. The option to have the amp showing while you navigate through all your presets was extremely useful, not to mention that your tweaks on one amp wouldn't impact the next amp you selected. For example, I could try to compare one amp to another while testing different settings on them. Because I can only do that on the tone model screen, the changes I make on one amp are kept to the other amp, even though I create a separate folder for them. To me, that wasn't practical. Being able to test and compare amps on their own settings is very important to me. I wonder why they did that once it didn't affect the usage of the software. I hope they bring that feature back in the next update. Once again thanks for all your help, man!

Thanks for the great videoS I have this problem, After 2-3 months with Tonex Pedal, I find the problem is with HiGain tones and Imput Trim We know we need to adjust Trim in / Input Trim on the pedal to match the tone, the feeling, the scoop, and the beefy tone, etc etc to sound like the audio sample created by the author for example on ToneNet or Premium tones where you can hear the real tone. for Hi-Gain tones I need ( and lots of people maybe go to +15 ) to add at least +10 to +12db in the pedal trim in to match the audio demo from the Tone author with your guitar (depends on your guitar pickups but from +10 to +12 and maybe more), It clips a lot ( this is another BIG issue) . SO, when you use a clean tone with Input Trim +12db or more that tone comes saturated with distortion, oviusly. Other test, If you try to match the tone with the Tonex software audio demo " like "Wood" or "Galop" or any other guitar sample of the list" you only need around +4, but is lack of the feeling of the real tone created by the author that come with the audio sample. So, in other words, * We need an update on the pedal and software so we can add a dedicated Input Trim or Trim-In parameter for each tone / preset / profile. Also you can keep the global parameter. OR * we need 2 tonex pedals, one for Hi-Gain tones and another for clean and drive tones. thats CRAZY !!! That's why people who use only clean and drive tones are very happy with Tonex!!!!! A separate unit to handle the Gain like some, is not nice or not handy, for example a gain padal to boost Hi-Gain tones. Ik Multimedia is doing something about this.

Good update on 1.5.1 !! Hi Jason, you made a vide showing how to use multimeter in order to get the tonex pedal to sound like the developed tone using the software and digital interface. It wasn't too clear how you used the multimeter, what did you actually measure. Any chance you can make a second video and show it in more detail?

Thanks for all those videos. I just got tonex and I have to say i thought the tonex software will ne a bit more intuative. How can I even hear the changes in tone as I move the amp knobs around on tonex? I have to edit settings withought sound preview and then load it onto tonex pedal to find out what I did? I dont have computer speakers, i just use headphones through the pedal. Is that the issue?

I figured out with midi a way to be able to change up to128 (if need) separate presets on the tonex, using the HX stomp as the controller, with different effects on each of the HX stomps presets, its great. Using a midi controller to change presets on the Stomp and then the stomp changing the tonex

Hey Jason, thanks for this update explanation! But I have a question - is it possible to restore default presets in Tonex App? And how I can do it? Just reinstall Tonex?

Hey Jason ! Is it possible that you can send me the HX Stomp Template (Preset) that you would you ideally use in conjunction with the ToneX . My Amptone is always slightly coloured....and i tried a lot . Even the Line 6 support couldn´t really help me. I mean the template with the two blocks! TY in advance!

Jason why don't I have preset library icon on my menu bar? Do I need to update?

Tonex is great but their website is SO CONFUSING! Where can I download this update, please?

Why must you mention FREE UPDATE? Shouldn't updates be free by default? Will you pay to update your computer OS? Would you pay to update your phone? Please STOP saying free updates.
