I am just thrilled DT has yarn I like most of them. My favorites are the tweeds, but the original I do like the earthstone colors. I've even thought about ordering it online from DT.. My DT is very limited. Thanks fnr sharing.

The first type, tweed, I like the denim and the rust. The worsted I like the rose and the turquoise. It is probably a good thing that there is not a Dollar Tree near me. I could get into so much trouble. Boyfriend keeps telling me I need to use up the yarn I have. But the only yarn that I have bought was stuff I used up already, the two mystery boxes that I bought from Bag-O-Day back when she sold them and the Darn Good Yarn that I have gotten in their yarn of the month boxes. It has been hard deciding what I want to do with those, as I only like a few of their patterns. Oh well. Hugs and love from my little corner of Kentucky

Dollar Tree has really stepped up there game with the yarns now. I wish they would send the same stuff to all of them though. I have shopped while working and found most of those. My doesn't have so much. Thanks for sharing.

All we have at our Dollar Tree is a limited selection of yarn, plastic knitting needles, and stitch markers. At least it's premier yarn, and the stitch markers aren't terrible.

Your DT must have all the hooks and needles. I just went to my local DT and the grey chenille in a huge 578 or something like that by Premier yarn for 5 dollars. You only get 60 yards in the small balls. I compared it to the just chenille and it was the same to me. I know premier makes both, but I really couldn’t tell any difference. I wish we could get the yellow. Thank you for sharing

@@AffordablyCrafty I wasn’t either until I figured out that I needed to use a larger hook. Then I found out that the lives you make for babies turn out so soft and my grand daughter would actually cuddle with it when she was asleep. Just that one picture my daughter sent me made me a fan for life. Her little face was so sweet asleep smushed into something I made.

I am just starting out with learning to crochet and went to dollar tree for supplies Decided to get the “Just Chenille” yarn and it pulls apart very easily. I watched reviews on it and they say it’s great but maybe I’m just doing something wrong. To be honest I only picked them because they’re soft and flufyf Thanks for the video, I will check out these types of yarn as well!

jenna - I would not suggest chenile to someone learning to crochet. I would suggest cotton / cotton blend or acrylic. It is much more forgiving if you have varied tension. Chenille also has a tendancy to "worm" ie buckle in the project as well

My dollar tree rarely has any yarn. When it does, it's junky quality. And it never has had any hooks or needles either. I'm in north central Florida.

Nice new colors! Not a blue fan, but I really like that tweed! And I do like the terracotta. None of the 6 or 7 near me restocked any yarns. Is that N. Attleboro store? I hit all the ones near me last week, not even a skein to be found.

The yarn at my dollar tree is ruff. So much so that it rubbed my finger raw. I tried several different styles with the same result. I5 also split easily. For our area it is good for crafts but not for crochet or knitting
