Wonderful video. Brings back many memories from '80s and '90s flying the B767-300ER to KJFK from Central America , arriving around 10pm. The best for me was the Canarsie VOR approach to runway 13L. The view of the 'sea of lights' at night was really nice.
@@HighPressureAviationFilmsYes I am because the engines look like the Trent XBW,the plane has the A350 wingtips and the nose shape. However, the last 7 week, the flights between Helsinki and JFK were in A330 (source: Flightradar24). This flight might be an exception.
I live in New York and I fly outta JFK lots of times. The comments by the captain are soooo true! The wait times to takeoff or landing are insane.I flew a lot during covid. Never seen those airports so empty in my life. Now it's business as usual! Early Am your #20 for departure. 6pm and after your number #25 for departure! LGA or NEWARK are no better.
I used to hang out by the outer marker by Long Beach bridge and watch the 31L inbound fly right over head. Work at JFK for a year and an half before joining the Navy. Best job I ever had.
I liked so much the main panel view onto the background!!! It is very cool and impressive!!! 🛬🌃👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻🤩 Please make more and taking off too!!! 🛫🌃💪🏻 👋🏻 Greetings from 🇪🇸 Spain.
I like your location and radio transmission description graphics on editing your posted video’s. It gives a better clarity to the video for flying and landing at day or night. Thanks for posting your wonderful video’s.
Yes, your careers are not over just because of a pandemic (video recorded in 2021). I knew during the pandemic that the people would want to fly again when it will be possible. And they did - and they still do and will do. Of course :-) Oh, and it's a beautiful video! Perfectly flown, perfectly edited, great! I just understand a little bit of french, so your subtitles helped, thanks! And of course I got the nice joke near the end that the light plane was taking off very steep, as if it was taking off vertically, great, a bit of fun is necessary between the more difficult tasks. That's fine, thanks!
Enfin de retour ! enfaite j'ai enfin compris à quoi servent les volets ! c'est pour réduire la portance et augmenter la trainée ? corrigez moi si j'ai faux 😊 Ps : je suis a ipsa
Great video. Wind was about 30knots but it didnt pook like it, the control inputs looked calm and the approach wasmt that shaky, buttered landing too. Or was it a tailwind pr headwind? Impressive either ways. ,merci beaucoup pour la video. 😅❤
What happens if you cut engine 1 tooearly and you have to make a right turn, or do you only cut the engine whem you're sure of the turns youll be making?
Amazing and informative vid as always! 777-300ER is my fav aircraft, hope that Air France keep them for some time yet. Wanted to ask what the two buttons on the control yoke do that you are pressing during the landing?
@HighPressureAviationFilms Thanks for the info. Wanted to ask that do you typically take over manual landing from 2500ft like in the clip? Also do you guys use the Flight Director as reference during landing or ILS only?
It really depends on the weather condition and alos your fatigue. But typically , when everything is OK after being established on the ILS is good @@speedbird380A
Great Video, Really enjoy it, Thanks for uploading it. And at 01:22, I guess it should be "Kennedy altimeter 3014", and Kennedy Approach frequency should be 128.125 maybe.
So passenger to cargo and back is a standard rotation? I always wondered how it differs, other than the sense of responsibility for more lives…. Do you for instance do things whatever that maybe within the safe envelope, that you try to avoid in a passenger flight?
@@HighPressureAviationFilms 👍 There was the fleeting thought that “cavalier” pilots or somewhat less capable pilots flew cargo….but glad it’s not that way…
When they refer to your flight as 'heavy' does that mean any large intercontinental airplane or does the airplane need to be a certain weight to be referred to as heavy?
Is that normal to give small inputs by holding the yoke when the AP is still on? It is visible when turning on final and about 3 minutes before the AP off. The Finnair aircraft is A350-900 :)
