In my opinion Gent gives a better review then Jeremy fragrance bc the only thing Jeremy says is "this smells great" where as you give a more in depth review to be able to make a better blind buy. I've grown my fragrance collection and spent over 2 grand bc of your reviews. Out of 60 fragrances, I only don't like 2. Not bad for mainly blind buys. Appreciate the content. I just recently found your channel. If you haven't already can you make top 5 or top 10 review videos in different categories for example, work, club, date, suit, casual, sporting events, winter, summer etc.

Ashton, as someone who like Dior Fahrenheit, I'm surprised that you haven't mentioned Bentley for Men Black Edition. It kind of gets the treatment that AdG Profumo did to AdG, so it's kind of a mysterious blue version of Fehrenheit. Still really solid though the quality isn't on par with Dior. Really great considering you can find it for $30 for a 100ml

I'm about the same. Wasn't expecting such a deviation from the original when I tested it on paper. Definitely nicer on skin, but I don't think I'll ever be buying a bottle.

This should be the case of all EDPs. Just higher concentration of the EDT. Wanna change the formula? Fine, but call it something else not just EDP/Parfum.

The leather note is too fake, just something that remotely resembles leather. The problem is that when ysl claim its leather and people read it they will also smell it, they go "ah thats what it is, there it is" but thats not what it is and it is not there. I took out a Tom Ford with real leather scent to confirm the ysl does indeed not have any scent thats very close to leather, its only remotely related and need the power of suggestion to become real.

I have 2018 batch of the 200ml edp before my 4yr old went to school at 08:30am I sprayed 4 times around his neck one on left and right shoulder of his jumper and once on his hair and once on back of his jumper. I could still smell it on him at 16:40 when he came back and he still had a light cloud you could smell and get whiff of even if he was a meter or two away in a nice and not overpowering way. Update just had sniff of his jumper at 01:00am it's like a skin scent but there on his jumper.

@@akuma4u lol he's 6 now still likes having a different aftershaves every day for the whole month and get him noticed in school that once his teacher said she does not need to see him because when the doors open they can smell he's there. Even his teacher asked him what aftershave he was wearing and he told he dylan blue she wanted to buy it for her sons Christmas present.

I love this one over the original. The original la nuit was too simplistic for me. While the EDP is more sophisticated and reminiscent of Jazz Club by Maison Margiela.

Hey Ash I'm new to the fragrance Game. I'm wondering how do You and many other reviewers keep the fragrances for so long? Dont they go bad? Or should I just go to town and get into debt cause they will last forever lol

They last. Just don't put in direct sunlight or in an area close to your shower where the humidity will get into the bottle. I keep mine in the bedroom since my closet is connected to the bathroom.

Sounds way too different. Leather tonka and sandalwood sounds like 3 things I dislike being added to my favorite fragrance. Shouldn't a parfum version just be the same thing except more oil?

Its in fact only a cardamom bomb with VERY fake leather scent. Quality products like Tom Ford give you real leather and no spice overload, cost more but gives much higher value for the money, with YSL you get only cardamom.

La Nuit EDT still works fantastic after all these years and still will. There will always be young girls who have never smelled it before and it does it´s magic, tried and proven. I also like it very much myself, that is a win-win.

Ashton you should start using a rosemary oil & jojoba mask for hair. It probably won't grow back your hair but it definitely will slow down the balding.

Ridiculous. Only Dutasteride can slow it down and grow some back too, but its too strong, dangerous. If there were safe and efficient ways to stop hairloss then noone would have hairloss, ever.

Both smell kind of cheap. Longevity is poor unless you massively overspray. Drydown is sort of sour smelling. Solid pass. And agree with you get this only with deep discount. Paying full price for this is a felony.

EDT smells amazing... Personally I don’t need it to last 6+ hours, usually no more than. 2-3 hours from my date to the the bedroom 😉

I have the regular EDT and Bleu Dlectrique and both are great, I tried the EDP and felt it awful, the opening is bad, and just got worse from hour 1 to 5, still a strong smell of leather that kills the tonka beans, and by the time you feel cardamom, you have a gag reflex from the strong leather. I had to remove it from my skin with soap and can still smell a little something. Overall: disgusting.
