I first smelled LP earlier this year at Macy's. I fell in love with it at first sniff. Lol. My wife surprised me on fathers day with a bottle and i must say it is absolutely a compliment magnet.

I’m really looking forward to this one. I’m a big fan of this entire line. I think that YSL does a great job with these Y flankers of keeping hints of the DNA but making them each unique.

@@forrestmontealegre5928 I do an upside down triangle, 2 shoulder/chest area, one in the stomach. Then one on each arm. One on the right shoulder/neck area sometimes if I feel im going to hug someone. Also I wear a lot of jean jackets and I noticed that scents tend to really grip on to them. Adds longevity

Y EDP just has something absolutely seductive. I've smelled a lot of scents but this is my go-to. Everyone loves it, notices it and some friends even started to wear it too. It is insane

Ash,you've given me something to look forward to. YSL fragrances personify, elegant and sophistication. I currently own Y Eau de toilette and Eau de Parfum. Toilette is sentimental for me because my mother bought it for me as a Christmas gift in 2017.She passed away in October of 2018.I wear it with memories of December 25,2017. Because of your review,I purchased the Parfum in 2019 at Macy's.I love 💘it!! Your reviews are great.

Longevity on me goes on for hours. I don't mind the moderate projection, and neither do the people around. Love the scent. Definitely a more darker, masculine scent.

Love this one to be honest. It is not projecting monster as EDP does but there is something thats make this one special in the entire line which I like a lot. Definitely not redundant buy.

Smelled it today. Definitely smells better than the EDP and EDT. Never liked either enough to buy, but I'm going to buy this one.

Tried them both on at the store, and waited hours, and took home samplers to experiment a few more days. Everyone says Le Parfum mixes with me better and lasts longer. EDP just disappears on me, and no one can smell it. People definitely prefer the EDP open, but it fades off quick (on me), and Le Parfum really rocks in the dry down (for me)...... I also like Eau Fraiche... don't attack me.

I have them all and i can honestly say i like the edp best still, my wife likes the edt best. Le parfum is a great scent though, dont get me wrong. I feel like its most similar to y live then it dries down to resemble versace eros.

Nice first impressions! Thanks for taking a few hours with it to get a better understanding if the fragrance. True first impression videos are usually pretty useless for any important information. Would love to see a full review in the future!

I'm sticking with my lovely EDP, once I run out of it I'll make a future comparison and decide then, as of now I haven't heard anything pushing me to get the new LP when I already own the EDP.

They market it as a more intense dark fougere but the only intense and dark is Lenny's jacket in the add ... Edp still better projection

They dropped the ball then if it's not a darker take. Why black out the bottle if it's not like that? They should have done it like BDC, with the parfum being a deeper , darker sensual take on the DNA

I smelled both off of a paper tester in the mail and I think y le parfum is a slightly stronger woodier scent compared to y EDP

Very interested to get my nose on this! Unfortunately releases come very slow to our shores so I won't hold my breath. I got a decant of Y EDP (which is empty now) and picked up Y Live recently. I agree Y Live is sweeter than Y EDP on average, but the EDP's top is super sweet and loud to the point to being unwearable for me even if I have a soft spot for the powdery amberwood drydown. I also did find Y Live has a tartness to it which balances the sweetness nicely.

I have all edt, edp, live, le parfum. I can say edp and le parfum are very similar. Ie parfum is fresher and lighter version of EDP. I personally prefer EDP all day!!!

I hope this “Parfum” smells a little more developed and deeper than the edp. Call me crazy but for me the edp smells a little burpy and too strong on the herbs, not to mention the ambroxan as well. 😎

Tried it, le parfum doesnt project that much, has less of a punch, sits closer to the skin and fades away a few hours earlier in comparisson r To EDP. Edp nr 1, live 2, then maybe le parfum

I thought Y edp was a little too sweet to be extremely versatile (I see it as a fall and winter fragrance), so this sounds like a better fragrance to me.

I ve got a sample lately of this new Y le Parfum. To me it smells like Valentino Uomo Born in Roma, just a bit stronger (also a little more synthetic to my nose?). I personally definitely prefer the edp version as it is sweeter and a bit more unique imo.. a pleasant scent nonetheless

My man bought some fake or lying nothings like Umo also how is this more synthetic ? You either a die hard Umo fan and a heavly hater or you are fool to fall for the propaganda of overhyped Y EDP which is average at best. For people who read his comment don't listen to him it's nothing like Umo. This is what the EDP should have been a mature classy scent. If you are like 15 go for EDP if you are a real man and not some manwhore go for Le Parfum. It's dark, masculine and gentleman-ish. Also it lasts 12+ hours with a moderate projection while EDP barely 6 hours with a low projection

Edp is louder, a beast while le parfum sits closer to skin. I got 3 hrs tops for le parfum before it turns to skin scent. Dissapointing but id still prefer le parfum on the scent profile vs edp

I have both of Y live & edp, still looking forward buy new le parfum edition. Till now I'd rather Y live over edp version. I can't explain that but I like the sharpness of juniper in Y live and find it more balanced.

6:10 Inspecteur Clouseau in ze house 🤪 As for the fragrance, Y indeed? Haven't smelled this yet but my fave of the line so far is easily Y Live (despite the name 😅 ) I don't get the EDP hype quite so much but to each his own. I've gotta say though YSL are pretty overpriced, as with Chanel & Dior of course.

I seem to be in the minority of really not liking the Y line whatsoever. Maybe its the fact I just hate the standard blue frags they all smell the same and each have something in common with the other. I used to love them but find myself so underwhelmed BDC, Sauvage, YSL Y all fall into the same pit for me. Just boring and generic. Not even a fragrance snob or anything and don't own any Niche frags. They all just seem the same. Idk though this one might be quite nice will have to take a look. Peace and Love everyone
