Gordon is not the reason for the faux rivalry, it's Pickford. He's from Newcastle's local rivals Sunderland, doesn't like Newcastle at all and has made it well known to anyone who will listen. Everton fans may believe it's Gordon, but it really isn't and they only have yourselves to blame for what he did.

Gordon chose to leave for a club that is better for his development, the amount of hate to a 20 year old wanting a more stable and conducive environment is silly as everyone wants that. since coming to us he has been good. He was vital in the turnaround at Brentford and had good appearances against Man United, west ham and Spurs, his speed and delivery from the right is inpactful, the goals and assists will come soon.

True fans stay until that final whistle goes. The Everton fans, and any club’s fans who walk away, are the sort you don’t ever want with you in a fight or when things get tough. Those are the good time Charlies. When you’re down, and scrapping, you need your fans to shout encouragement not abuse. Imagine if you’re at work, and things are tough, and the boss comes in and tells you how sh1t you are? Will that encourage you to work harder? Fans boo-ing and abusing players is something that’s happened in every club over the last 20 years. There’s no excuse for it, and the “I pay so I can do what I like” attitude is what gets teams relegated.

Fan Rivalry been there for a long time. We call them the "Scouse mackems" They are in general not nice fans. Dangerous place to visit, unlike Liverpool, you can have a beer and banter with them, not so with evrrtonians.

Unlike Newcastle, Everton dont need oil money to sell out home and away every week. Before Howe, I honestly cant remember the last time Newcastle sold out away at Goodison. Often the upper tier was even left unsold so sold to home fans instead. And we'll sell out at home in the championship aswell. 97% season ticket renewlals despite the likelihood of championship football. Plus 25k+ on a waiting list. And we'll sell out every away game aswell. Last time we didn't sell out away was 2016. For most games 24/38 away credits is the lowest the threshold goes. We packed the away end at Southampton during the week, during a national rail strike. The new stadium still isnt big enough. Approx 35k season ticket holders at Goodison, plus 25k+ waiting list is minimum 60k. 52k is too small. All while considering Liverpool isnt a massive city population wise, and we share the city with one of the biggest clubs in the world. Everton are different gravy mate. UTFT ETID
