The assembly of the lawn mower could be done without any problems ru-vid.comUgkxTPN04aT-Qdjr_KS3ql7ng8wnU3wwsCqk also recommend I just puzzled something about the red strange “key”. However, it quickly turned out that this creates a kind of contact bridge between battery packs and lawn mowers. An additional backup as a father of a 1 year old nephew is great!! :-)

Same problem on a Briggs and Stratton pressure washer. I watched just to see how to clean carb. No gunk in mine at all it looked brand new. Wished I watched all the way thru the first time. Only gunk was in the plug for the bowl. Thanks!

NICE! yes you got it. the brass main jet (float bowl bolt)is usually what gets plugged and prevents the engine from running.

Used my almost new 3000 PSI 2.7 GPM 875 twice and let it sit for two years with gas (shame on me). Had it up on FB Marketplace for 2 days. Way to many calls for the price listed. Decided to check out how to repair and this was the first video I watched. Now it is not for sale and it's running perfect! You the man!

Really a big help and so appreciate this wonderful video tutorial that you took the time to post. I indeed had a blockage in that bottom screw. Would have never noticed that it had a "T" type of mini fuel flow channels. Carb spray and a stiff strand of copper wire indeed cleared the blockage. The carb spray showed it was blocked and then showed it open after a good cleaning as instructed. Thanks. Unfortunately, after performing this cleaning my engine still did not start. So this is what I learned. You have to take the carb off and really clean the remaining thin channel passageways in the carb. Use your phone and take good pictures of the carb unit before you start and during the disassembly so you install back to spec with all the proper hard-wire connections, positions, spacers, etc. A big help when you start to put it back together! Once free and in your hand, look at the bottom of the carb where that bolt screws into and clean that very small passageway with your wire and carb cleaner. Same with another very small fuel passageway above that the float unit controls. You may notice it is red in color. You'll know when they are clear once again by the free-flowing carb spray coming out the other end. Vio la... it finally started up! A beautiful feeling after 3 failed attempts. Be patient, work organized with good light, be comfortable and shoot photos as needed to have as a reference for the reverse procedure. You'll be winning this time.

Thanks for the video. When I saw you working in the grass, my first thought was something will drop into it. I like working on a clean table at a comfortable working height. A neighbor recently gave me a pressure washer with a B&S engine that he couldn't get to crank. From appearance, it looks like it hadn't been used much. As a test, I gave it a dap of starter fluid to see if it would even fire. It did, so I decided to give it a shot. I pulled the carb off and sprayed out the pilot jet and insides. I didn't know the main jet was the bowl screw until I saw this video. I used a bristle from a wire brush along with carb cleaner to clear all holes. It fired right up, so I tested the water pump, all is good. Well, I do need to replace the lower bowl sealing washer, but that is minor. I'll make one with gasket paper. Note to others: if you feel your carb may need a rebuild kit, keep in mind a new complete carb is about the same price on ebay or Walmart.com.

Thanks for the simple video, this did the trick for me. In my instance the gaskets were fine. All I needed to do was clean out that carb nut/valve I didn't know it had a function other than being a nut, simple canned air blast blew out the black gunk.

@@kennycybertron1 my daily driver has a hemi... I just feel better running 91 since i have to in my Durango. It was the stabilizer that crapped out. It was something from the local gas station which has been known for water in their fuels. So it's on me. Just not sure why the seafoam didn't counter the problem.

I recently picked up 2 craftsman pressure washers at Lowes for $25 each. They looked brand new so I was surprised to find gas in the tanks. Both had bad gas and the spark plugs were way under gapped. Drained the gas, cleaned the carbs and replaced the spark plugs and they started right up. With all my machines I always shut off the gas and let the engine run and if I don't plan on using it for over a month I always drain the gas tank. And since I started mixing seafoam in with the gas I haven't had any carb issues.

Recently inherited a 2900 Craftsman and learned that it will make me cuss, pulling the rope start, If, I don’t spray water and get all the pressure out, or the rope might break or the Damn thing will turn over. Lol. If my son is with me, it’s easy. If he isn’t, I use a big pair of vice-grips to hold sprayer on and the rope pulls so easy. Took a few minutes online to figure that one out.

My briggs and stratton lawn mower can starts when it's cold but won't start when it's hot, so I decided to remove a whole carburetor and cleaned it off using a carburetor cleaner and put a new carb gasket air filter. Now it can start when it's hot. I can start it up many times as I like. It just worked great. I also had to install a fuel shutoff valve between the carb and a gas tank because I don't want to let it sit in the storage too long since fuel would be bad inside the carb which is why I used ethanol shield in a 10 gal. gas container. No problem.

Hello! Would you happen to know what the intake and exhaust valve clearance is for this exact pressure washer? I’ve been trying everything to fix my pressure washer these last few days, but it just won’t stay running. It ran for about 3 minutes this morning but at a very low speed. The pressure in the hose got stronger and stronger and finally the engine picked up speed to almost normal. I let off on the trigger and left it at idle for about 15 seconds while I ran into the garage to get my pliers to adjust the rpm, and it stalled out. Now it’ll start for less than a second every time that I give it a pull. The carburetor has been cleaned and rebuilt. Any advice would be great. Thank you!
