Next-Gen Fallout 4 sounds... Annoying 

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing. I've got 202 mods in FO4 and I really don't want to have to mess with them again.

It took up until 8 years to fix performance issues. Bruh...

They are half assing it, it's Todd Coward's code of conduct for 20+ years :)

Instead of trying to remember to go offline each time, change the "app manifest of Fallout 4" to read only. Steam then cannot alter any files then.

I'm console and I honestly don't think it'll change much, if anything. Too vague descriptions and their track record with skyrim speaks for itself. I'd love to be pleasantly disappointed but I don't think I will be

It's about what I expected on the tin: a performance boost and some paid stuff on the side. Don't have a computer to say how it'd affect me. I'm not so eager to dismiss the CC Enclave quest, on a technical side. If some of the Creations over in Skyrim are to go by, they can have VAs and more complex stuff in them. Even then, there were a few past Creations I'd say I'm a fan of, being the CR-74L, Manwell rifle, Solar Cannon (for its quest) and Settlement Ambush Kit (great on-demand horde mode.) I'm not a fan, however, of everything of note being Enclave themed. My opinion: they always sucked, and should've faded into obscurity by now. One of the reasons I don't give a crap about the Enclave fanfic that is AR2 (along with a couple others.) This feels like directly pandering to that crowd of the fanbase. Side-note: the X-02 and Hellfire armors are actually pretty strong, the former having unique upgrades and the latter having the highest stats when upgraded. I'm assuming paints are being added in the update.

Still won't stop me in wanting... no, *needing* to see the gaming and media annoyances that are FO4 and even Skyrim be permanently delisted for quality control's sake, these incessant updates.

Exactly my thoughts, this couldnt come at a worse time for me lol, planning my first heavily modded PC playthrough. Gonna have to disable steam updates. Also I was hoping for an anniversary edition like skyrim where you get all of creation club for a more reasonable price.

So, have you suffered the show yet? Do you know what they did to the lore?

I was hoping for an enclave bunker home but this enclave content looks lame since its just free cc stuff and reskins. 🤮
