I'm really not surprised you have pulled out this stuff like a magician, what continues to surprise me is that your channel still doesn't have hundreds of thousands subscribers. But as only an occasional editor I always lack the time or for some other reason don't want to create bins. Superbins seems to be the perfect tool for me in that sense. Especially getting content directly from internet seems like a feature designed especially for me.

Hi William ! Would you make a short video explaining the exact process of using SuperBins with a free version of Davinci? I am sure there are many people interested in this tool but they need to understand what "manual syncing" really means and whether or not that would be the only limitation of using this tool with the free version of Davinci Resolve. Thanks!

Hey... thanks for the suggestion. I will make a video that shows how to use SuperBins with the free version of resolve. Its not difficult and still extremely helpful for organizing your project files.

You're amazing. I didn't even know it was you making Super Bins.. I've been thinking about trying it for a long time now. Have been hesitating just because I'm so stuck doing things the same way. But because the timing is finally right. I am at a point where I'm starting one new project after ending a few. Feels like a good time to try. And now that I know who makes it and it's not just a no face brand makes me even more enthusiastic. Definitely time to give it a go. And really people like you add so much to the community. By the way I'm sure most know but I didn't for a long time posthaste Was the last great app to help out my workflow. Just saying.

I hate updating a projects folder then having to figure in the bin what I've added so I can drag it in so this looks super useful, definitely checking it out.

Quick question about superbin! When you're working with someone and we both have superbin turned on, how does it work when it comes to the sync feature? Let's say I'm working on the project and hand it over to the other guy. If the other guy synced it, would the whole data be replaced or deleted via his current folder structure or data he had at that time, since his his folder structure is different than mine?

Can this app be used to just sync the project bins with an already established folder structure? Can the keyboard shortcuts be modified or disabled?

yes the app can be used to sync with an established folder structure. the hot keys are fully customizable…also not required. you can click inside the app to access all the features. if you have any other questions or specific questions about your configuration, you can click the contact/support option on the SwitchTake.com website. we will get right back to you.

I love what you do for the Resolve community. But when you say studio, will these tools only work for the full studio version or will they work for the free version too?

unfortunately there are some things that on,y work in studio. I try to make videos thxt work in both whenever possible. switchnotfiy requires studio. SuperBins can work with the free versions, but it can on,y be used to move things into your project folder. the file syncing needs to be done manually.

I know by comparison to some other software that it's totally worth it, but it's still an expense that needs justified.

these features should be packed with new davinci resolve. i think you should talk to developer for the same, they can also develop addons or pluggins inside browser that can enable even deep integration of this feature.

How do I make it to work with Powerbins folders, I have some reusable assets that I would like to keep on multiple projects without duplicating them...

There is not a way sync files to power bins. But you can use the library feature of superbins to quickly copy media library folders. You can then click the sync/diff option to quickly import the library media/file structure into your project. When you add files to the library folder it will be auto imported into your project. Click folder monitor and add library to enable this feature.

Hi! I'm using the snap notify app and I'm loving it! I just had a question about the phone connection, it keeps giving me an error notification every time it updates the length remaining. It happens like every 5-10 seconds and even pulls me out of watching the video preview. Is it just new tech and has quirks or am I doing something wrong?

Does this work only with the paid version of Davinci Resolve i.e. Davinci Resolve Studio ?

The auto import only works with Resolve Studio, but you can still use SuperBins to download and organize your media files. Just takes a quick/easy step to import files/sync into resolve. I will probably be making a video about this next week.

SwitchNotify does require the studio version. For SuperBIns, you can use it with the Free version of Resolve...BUT.. it will not auto sync files. You can use it to copy/paste media,screenshots.. to your main project folder. Then you can quickly (manually) sync that folder with Resolve. In SuperBins there are instructions for manually syncing.

I definitely understand.. not personal... but don't think you will find many full apps that do not have some type of licensing.. Even the freeware programs that are open source have license agreements/terms. Appreciate your comments! Thanks for watching!
