In my opinion Morgan is one of the most underrated and unknown drummers. He is 100% true feeling on the drums. Another epic performance.

Can we just crown Agren the greatest contemporary drummer of all time yet?

Such finesse. I can’t believe how light he was hitting the drums...so soothing. And then the loud cracks on his second snare...very gratifying.

It's peculiar how we've learnt or rather become accustomed to think of drums as rhythmic percussion only. What happens when the rhythm sings? Morgan seems to know how to venture an answer. What an extraordinary piece, blown away.

This had the same energy as a young quiet child wandering vast northen nordic wilderness in winter and carrying extra strange esoteric existential knowledge without the linguistic need or will to explain it to anyone This was phenomenol Morgan, got very moved by it and feel heavily inspired! He's actually a good example of why you don't tell kids who are passionate and progressing in percussion, to change their technique if not traditional, bc by all accounts, Morgan's style and technique are very un traditional and many an ignorant drum teacher would say he doing it wrong and hel never be able to achieve success on drums, idt even Morgan would suggest holding the stixs and playing wrist heavy like he does to young students, but it works for him, one only needs a nudge of correction if they are hitting plateaus commonly or can't seem to progress with the technique they use, but it's hard and dangerous to unlearn years of however you learned, and yes it could save you time if you can fix it and add cupl hours to get over that hump, but make drastic changes with caution

Only 3 bass drums?!

Most def underrated, as a drummer and overall musician, he is MORE underrated as a musician bc drummers get pigeon holed, but he and the Benny grebs of the world are changing that, as a drummer he is in my top 3, with Greb, 2a&b however you like, but idt anyone is as supra human as garstka, he has just created an alternate universe with the animals guys and Louis demille and other side projects, but Morgan i would say the better overall musician? At least until Matt comes out with his own multi instrumental album, idt he will...between Greb and agren, their styles are just too different to compare, but equal virtuosity, Greb is very German and Morgan viking,jk, no both countries actually embrace eastern musical influence, tabla, ragas, gypsy music etc..I love it all, and it's no surprise to me drummers lead the way into the 21st century, bc James Brown, Bob Marley, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, yes I went there, he's pretty good, they all were drummers first...I know Weckyl gets voted every year, and sure, for jazz and fusion, but I'm not a big fan of his pocket actually, anything funk he does, he too quick to break out and solo, iv yet to see him play a groove and stay in it for more than 8bars w/o opening the hhat, but that's jus my 2 cents

Oooh, might be the last year with hair. That "fetch cut" as we say in Norway (the actual word being contracted; "hentesveis") won't last long. Lose the few remaining curls, and focus on being between this awesome, and half as awesome on drums!
