NF- TRUST & DRIFTING [REACTION] 

The "Trust" song has some real spiritual advice when NF goes to see the devil, and he realizes the devil wants to keep us locked up (in a kennel) and the solution was to kill his ego. The devil uses our own ego to tempt us to walk away from God. He did it in the garden when he told the woman she can get everything she wants, God is withholding from us, and tempts her to be her own god. The devil tried this with Jesus as well, he promised to give Jesus this world, and again we see the devil going after the ego. We all need to have the humility to tell our own selves to take the backseat and surrender to God. Very powerful. Pause all you want, we like to hear your thoughts. Jesus says in Luke 9:23 you must deny yourself and take up your cross if you want to be my disciple. This act of taking one’s cross must be daily. It just as much as a mind as it’s a heart issue . Our hearts are prone to wander which is why we are compared to sheep in scripture

If you’ve heard the saying hes in his bag, or this is his bread and butter, just meaning he’s doin what he does best. This can do with his different flows, or topics he raps about, whether in his feelings, being braggadocios, or story telling.. all things he’s good at doing. These are different bags he has. Which one he’s in depends of what mood he’s in, as the next line states.

"It's the peace that surpasses understanding" Philippians 4:6. The one thing I know from my life experience that is unquestionable is when I surrender to God I feel peace. What I can't figure out is why I still chaise these things that I know will not satisfy. As you said it is easy to drift. I feel like God has told me that yesterday's manna will not cover today. Every day we need to seek him for his mercy's are new every morning. If I don't surrender today, then I will drift. Period.
