I saw another video which explained the fans mooned the players bus earlier when the team arrived at the stadium as they traditionally did for this matchup and Moss was mocking them. Playful banter. Joe buck is an idiot though.
They got the call right, though. That's the only thing that matters. The announcer isn't mad about the ruling. He's mad that they didn't get away with it on a technicality.
paul allen has some hall-of-fame worthy losing calls, and i’m not trying to diss him, that’s what local homer broadcasters are for, to know they’re just as hurt as you
@VENIX75 This is a hilarious reply. On a serious note my adult nephew just went to visit some friends who go to college there and said he really liked the city.
I can't help but laugh my ass off whenever I hear it. He was so damn invested by the end of the previous play 😂😂😂 That sound bite should make it's way into everything like the Wilhelm scream
Yup ur speaking out str8 facts for every single NFL fanbase that's out there 🗣 which is of whom in fact, would all be in complete agreement wit u!! 💯💁♂️🤷♂️🙌🏽
Sorry but if I’m the Jacksonville coach, I’m crossing the field and saying “No. We are playing this right.” For the integrity of the game. It’s just not right man..
As a jags fan, that replay fiasco was utterly shameful. It shouldn't have gone down like that for the browns, both teams deserved a better end to that intense game
nah, everyone said the rams were gonna score a lot before that game. BB would've destroyed Brees in a different way. Refs have never liked Peyton since he turned out to be a cheater, he reaps what he sows. He's still doing that since last Sunday his team choked again lmao
@@Reckl3ssGring0 nah, ya'll just hating on Brady. That team wasn't losing to anybody. Rams had a better offense and a better defense than the saints. I mean, when the game went to OT in New Orleans, Brees got sacked and threw a pick. Same story if he played NE. He got spared emebrassment, tbh. Brady beat him in the playoffs in New Orleans too. He retired Brees. Suck it!
@@spearofconquest Drew threw for 4 tds against the same team earlier in the season? He was literally runner-up for mvp? Brady didn't even throw a TD in that SB, got completely carried by his defense. Goff was just inexperienced against a BB defense, you put Brees against them and that's def a much better SB. I'm not saying they would've won for sure, but saying that he was "spared from embarrassment" is just a stupid take.
1:45 not a Browns fan, but this is one of the most egregious calls in sports history. They reversed the freaking PREVIOUS play and called a 4th down and then said "fuck it" and ended the game on the spot. Unreal that actually happened.
Not to mention ending a game with time on the clock. Obviously the field wouldn’t be suitable but they didn’t even go for a delay. Just straight said “fuck you Cleveland” twice
This was my first time watching this clip (newer football fan here), not a Browns fan at all, but I was upset just watching it. Wow, that was complete bullshit for Cleveland
@@Hydrograd57 You should watch the whole story. After they called the game at 48 seconds, the league itself forced the refs and players to back on the field to officially finish the game. After running one more play, one ref was struck with a beer bottle that caused him to bleed profusely. This game is why beer bottles can’t be sold at NFL games anymore
@@sijdnsd6460genuinely scary how sports can create mob mentality so fast. It sucks when the refs make mistakes, but throwing beer bottles at people over it is an incredibly dangerous tantrum. It’s a game, it’s entertainment.
@@stephenmcneil4573Thing is is not just a game.. for the players it’s a livelihood.. the referees broke their own rules.. yes the bottle to the head is unacceptable but throwing shit on the field in all for in that situation. Good thing they don’t sell glass anymore tho.
That rams saints play was probably the most blatant pass interfence I've ever seen that wasn't called. I think the NFL just wanted to get the rams to the super bowl to increase their LA market
not even a saints fan but that no PI call was one of the most upsetting things to ever happen. I remember getting so mad. officials need more accountability
@@ryanhughes9291 What do you mean it was the right call? The refs missed 3 clear penalties on the play- DPI, defenseless receiver and helmet to helmet hit.
As a Saints fan, I'm crying in pain over that Rams missed call and also crying laughing at the Carney missed field goal after that miraculous touchdown lateral run. LMAO
Goff nearly had his head pulled off by a blatant facemask on 3rd down on the drive just before this one, but no flag and they were forced to punt. Seemed to me at the time the refs were making up for that missed call. Totally agreeing with you on the Carney kick though! LMAO!
Exactly. Of course the commentators who get paid waaaaay too much to sit there and spew total nonsense would never understand how someone who works their butt off every single day to come up with the money for a ticket to the game would feel.
@@stupidnamefilter Exactly. Society seems to glorify the idea of striking back violently when you have been wronged instead of choosing to rise above the situation to show class and maturity. They had every right to boo, they had no right to potentially injure ANYONE on the field.
Paul Allen on the call. Favre on the Vikings vs the Saints, NFC championship. Game on the line. Favre throws across the body, picked by Sharper. "This isn't Detroit man, this is the Super Bowl!" Legit, Favre could have slid down instead and Vikes probably would have won.
@@diamondthree I remember that one. Announcer was just disgusted. If Favre would have dropped his pants to moon the crowd, he would have been less disgusted.
A lot of angry New Orleans fans protested the Super Bowl in 2018-19. The Rams had certainly NO business being in that Super Bowl against New England. It became the most boring Super Bowl I've ever watched!
Seeing the refs get lit up after literally rigging that game was amazing! GREAT JOB CLEVELAND FANS!!!👏💯 They should be banned from officiating games at all levels!
@@swirvinbirds1971 I agree. At 5:10, the "lateral" from Stallworth to Lewis was actually a forward pass. Slow it down and watch where Stallworth is when he throws the ball to Lewis, and then look where Lewis is when he catches the ball. Stallworth released the ball between the 33 and 34 yard lines, and Lewis caught the ball between the 32 and 33 yard lines, i.e., the ball advanced by a yard on that pass. So Carney missing the PAT was simply the Cosmos exacting Justice, IMO.
Nah man, I still remember that Obvious PI from Nickel Robey-Coleman, That is the most obvious flag that wasn’t called. Mannnn I feel bad for the saints fans cause that was a good season for them
I honestly think that's when my love for watching the NFL died. It never felt more rigged for me than that (28) it's one thing hearing about teams getting robbed and major missed calls. It's another to see it live.
That NOOO at the end of the saint’s jags game is that I have go home and tell the wife I lost our life’s savings type of NO. he had some money on that 😂😂😂
Man, I remember that Vikings missed field goal like it was yesterday. My parents were just gutted after watching that. The nice thing about being a Vikings fan is that you build up one heck of a thick skin when it comes to disappointment in life. XD
Despite the officials in real time making different calls the call after review was correct. There was simultaneous possession of the ball which rewards it to the receiver. At first Jenkins had possession of the ball but Tate gained possession as well just before Jenkins' right foot touched the ground
Exactly. It can’t be simultaneous possession when he, at one point, didn’t have any possession at all. I don’t see how anyone can back that call even remotely.
Those refs are the reason why those fans went ballistic for sure! Of course the fans shouldn't throw shit but what in the absolute hell was their reason for breaking the rules review that play
I was 7 years old when Bottlegate happened in Cleveland, so I really couldn't comprehend what was going on at the time I was watching the game. Now I'm on the brink of 30 and a devout football fan ... and that is hands-down the most egregious mangling of refereeing any professional sporting event I've ever seen. Even with glass bottles being flung at them intentionally, and with the possibility incredibly high for serious injury ... I still can't find it in myself to feel any pity for them. They deserved that.
Absolutely did not. It’s a game. What they did was absolutely ridiculous sure, but to say they deserved to have their lives put in danger over a football game is just downright stupid on your end
Reviewing a catch from two plays later, after the browns ran another play, it was pretty bad. But today bert emmanuel's catch would be immediately ruled incomplete, so its really not as egregious as the fail mary. Which is just straight up the wrong call. The seahawks were gifted a touchdown that they did not score. If emmanuel's catch was overturned you would still say that the browns "got away with one". Not a packers fan-- the fail mary was the nfl's worst ref botch since the 70s
I’ve never seen this before, but I can’t believe how egregious that process was. Absolutely can’t go back once another play has been run, just an embarrassing example of officiating.
Not only did the refs call back a turn back a play after they already ran another one. They immediately ended the game with 40 seconds left 😭😭😭 ive never seen bs like that in my life
Rams vs. Saints. Doesnt go for the ball, hit sticks the reviever without looking for the ball, hits the recieve in the helmet. Refs... seems clean to me, game on lol.
As a seahawk fan I completely agree. However a good thing that came from the fail Mary is that it basically ended the referee hold out the next day. Which got rid of the replacement refs, I remember a lot of bad calls being made for weeks. The worst of them being the fail Mary.
Tate’s feet hit the ground first. They both had possession of the ball. Therefore, Tate caught it. If you only go off of the broadcast angle, it looks like an interception. I thought it was an interception until I saw the photo from behind all the players. It’s a catch.
@@brettxpw Tate never has full possession, Jennings catches it and pulls it in, Tate only had one hand on it, yet it counts as a catch for Tate? Jeez, no wonder the ref who signaled touchdown has been depressed and suicidal ever since.
Im a huge Bengals fan and what happened in the Browns game pisses me off. Its a shame one of the refs didnt get knocked out by a fan. That is just steaight up cheating
I love how Rex Ryan and the majority of players are smiling in the first clip 😂 it looks like a nice lil break from trying to nearly murder each other to laugh at an idiot
