For a moment I was thinking, "30th? out of 32 teams, they're not last?" Then I realized NY and LA double up... Truthfully, you could add a dozen college stadiums to the list and still have Fedex last.
Not to mention the fact that it has a ton of empty and covered seats because it was built too large and the Washington Whatever-They're-Calling-Themselves-These-Days suck. And because it's in the middle of a giant parking lot with nothing else around. Or because they moved from Washington DC out of utter greed and won't ever come back, so fuck them with a rake.
That SoFi Stadium is honestly a masterpiece of architecture and design. It’s so stunning from the exterior to the interior. Glad to hear it’s gonna be used for the 2028 Olympics :)
@@inaweoftheworld ....if the WC Final is to be held in the US (which it most likely will be) then this stadium should get the nod over Atlanta's Mercedes-benz Arena, and Las Vegas's Allegiant Stadium.....and certainly over the MetLife Stadium. But me, being a football (soccer) purist and a non-American, I still think the WC Final should be at Mexico City's Azteca Stadium. It really is still one of the world's great sports stadiums - and has seen some of the best ever goals in football scored on its pitch. It truly is 'hallowed turf'. A sensational stadium after all these years.
You’re right, I am “cheesed off” The Packers have sold out every game since 1960. That’s why they would never dream of reducing the capacity to get rid of the old metal benches
Thank you for giving mile high some love, I went there in 2019 and saw two games and the game day experience there is second to none. They have multiple people parachute into the stadium, thunder riding across the pitch just before the game starts and I also so a Thursday night game and got a fly over. Everywhere in the stadium you have unbelievable views its fucking beautiful in co as the sun goes down. I rate it over the mcg anyday hands down
Ford Field should've placed at least higher than MetLife and Levi's. MetLife doesn't have much character, and only diehard 49ers fans are apparently tolerating Levi's. Granted, the Lions haven't had much of a team to put in Ford Field, but it's an impressive venue without a terrible seat. The fact that it was partially built out of a former department store warehouse works. Like its neighbour Comerica Park, the architects took great care in including Detroit-centric features into the stadium.
I agree 💯% I'm from Bensonhurst Brooklyn but i grew up watching barry sanders and have been a fan since and my dad took me to Detroit twice to watch the 🦁 play once to the old Pontiac and then ford field no way it should be that low id rank it middle of the nfl @ 15
The only thing wrong with Ford Field is the team that plays in it. I'm a Lions fan, but we all know it's the truth. I think his bias against domes really affected Ford Fields rating.
That SoFi Stadium is honestly a masterpiece of architecture and design. It’s so stunning from the exterior to the interior. Glad to hear it’s gonna be used for the 2028 Olympics :) My home stadium came in at #6, which I thought would crack the top 5, but couldn't argue with your top 5 by any means. My FAVORITE team's stadium came in at #20. I thought we would have done a LITTLE better than that, but that is why they are called OPINIONS. Nice job, in my opinion! There were a few egregious misses here but overall great stadium content Chicago-'s new stadium was built right in the middle of the old historical one. I love it when an Australian makes a video about stadiums he’s never been to The Luke (Lucas Oil Stadium) is easily top five for these reasons: 1) It's actually downtown Indianapolis, 2) It has a retractable roof, 3) when the roof is open, open a giant window above one of the end zones that frames the skyline, 4) it's the only stadium that has an industrial look inside, and 5) it has a bunch of racing vehicles (cars, boats, tractors, etc) that are sponsored by Lucis Oil hanging when you enter through the main entrance. I could keep going, but 5 is enough. Next, you should do Wrestlemania stadiums and arenas' history M&T ranked 23rd is an injustice. Ranks top 10 in fan experience every year. They do small renovations almost every off-season, 20 year old Gillette Stadium is currently under a massive renovation. It's got shopping centers, restaurants, a hotel, a medical center, and a movie theater around it. Okay. For the first stadium, anyone crazy enough to drive there deserves to pay the parking fee. If coming from the north, take the green line to L'Enfant and then take the blue line. If you're coming from the south, blue all the way, or yellow to L'Enfant (L'Enfant's kind of a big deal), and then hop on the blue. If you live in DC willingly, you should probably consider moving.😂I agree except for one thing, I think the Superdome should be higher. Great video. You should make one of the Mexican baseball league stadiums (yes we have two leagues, the LMB and the LMP) Ford Field is awesome. The stadium is small with the seats pretty closed into the field, the coloration and lighting make the field clear and easy to see, not many obstructions or distractions, fans are friendly and pretty chill, and the tickets are cheap compared to other stadiums (3rd lowest in the NFL) Fun fact: AT&T is designed after the Original Texas Stadium, with upgrades. Ie: the Jumbo screen replaces the 4 small screens in the corners. The roof opens how Texas Stadium's old sunlight expands on your point about Raymond James' Cannons, they actually fire when the Bucs score a TD, making it even cooler M & T Bank is a great stadium. Just wish they would incorporate more gothic kinda spooky design to it so it goes with the theme. Add some gargoyles or more caste-like features. Could you make a video on stadiums you would want in Euro 2028 if the UK and Ireland are selected as hosts? Please! Thank you for giving Mile High some love, I went there in 2019 and saw two games, and the game day experience there is second to none. They have multiple people parachute into the stadium, thunder riding across the pitch just before the game starts and I also so a Thursday night game and got a flyover. Everywhere in the stadium, you have unbelievable views its fucking beautiful in co as the sun goes down. I rate it over the MCG any day hands down The Houston stadium is right next to the 1st domed stadium in history -- the Astrodome. The Super Dome is the second oldest. I live in LA and went to a pre-season game two days ago, I gotta say, that Sofi definitely deserves number 1 There are a few that I didn't think were right, but overall a good list! Super dome needs to go up tf, and it’s getting a lovely 400m upgrade inside to look futuristic I can't wait to view Sofi Stadium in 4.5 weeks for WrestleMania 39 that stadium looks elegant Overall a solid list, although AT&T in Dallas deserves to be ranked better than 8th. I’ve been to Sofi and although it’s great honestly I liked AT&T stadium better. Sofi is very nice but it’s very confusing to get around and it’s very overpriced too. Plus if you’re on the end zones the board is small. Honestly, I think US Bank looks the best, haven’t been there TIAA Bank Field is actually super nice, when the Jags are good 😢 I miss 2013-2019 He generally got the rankings close. The one glaring screwup was putting Pittsburgh in the top 10. That field surface alone should drop it into the bottom 10. That The Room reference 😂😂😂Please do EuroLeague arenas for the love of God Love how Atlanta spent so much on their new stadium bc the team started doing good…then, well we all know what happened Not a Packers fan but I enjoyed the tour they offered The Superdome should be higher yes I know it has a closed roof but with the new renovations it just had it’s a top-ten NFL stadium Nice job! IMO, you got most of these right where they should be ranked. A couple of tweaks: - Hard Rock Stadium is a bit too low on the list, I think it should be about the middle of the pack for its unique look and feel. You know where the game is instantly when you see it on TV or in pictures. That's not something that can be said for most of the stadiums on this list. - MetLife Stadium is just dull, dull, dull. Should be way lower, maybe in the bottom 1/3. - I would rank Heinz Field (Acri-what? That's just another one of your sick jokes, right?) way higher, having been there for games, top 5 at least. Amazing stadium from top to bottom, with amazing views of downtown Pittsburgh and the riverfront. And it shares duty as the University of Pittsburgh's football home as well - right down to the metal gates and seat brackets, which have both Steelers and Panthers logos on them (a level of detail no other shared American stadium has). Also, what you don't see in this video is that an entire side of the stadium on the ground floor is an open museum of Steelers history, including all of the team's Super Bowl trophies, game-used jerseys, footballs, and even a monument wall to the legendary Terrible Towel (yes this is a thing and it's amazing - look it up!). Great video. I think AT&T stadium is top 3.
One of my coworkers went to a game at SoFi and he said it was a great experience, beautiful design, great location, and no matter where you sit, you have a great view of the game
I heard otherwise. I heard the nosebleeds secretions were terrible, and I also heard it was hot and unpleasant to be in. It also has a terrible playing surface. The architecture is great, but it could use some work.
I'm happy to see Raymond James Stadium getting more respect lately. It's always been a good stadium, one with a well kept field, good seating, easy maneuverability in and out of the stadium, as well as easy access in Tampa Florida with plenty of parking. All of that, and of course the great tradition of the Pirate ship. I think being that it was the first stadium to host it's home team in the Super Bowl, and having the first to win the big game on their home field puts it into a forever historical class of NFL stadium. Only downside is the exposure to the sun and rain. But when the weather is nice, especially during prime time games, this is without a doubt in the top half of stadiums in the NFL.
I'm not the biggest fan of Ray Jay because day games, 12pm and 1pm kickoffs are brutal. USF plays mostly day games so it's difficult to get to see the team play.
@@Black_CoreyNFin it’s usually like that for any southern team’s home (unless you have a roof) that decides to play games during the daytime during the warmer times of the year. And that’s why most Buccaneers home games are scheduled at dusk or night, because it’s cooler
The parking is a mess though, I went to last seasons bucs vs saints week 15 game which is probably the worst nfl game I have ever seen, but we had to park in some buildings parking lot west of raymond james and had to drive over curbs to get out.
I definitely agree with the number one spot! The best stadium hands down! Not a bad seat in the house. Gorgeous exterior and interior. Video board is perfect.
I gree except for one thing, I think superdome should be higher. Great video. You should make one of the mexican baseball leagues stadiums (yes we have two leagues, the LMB and the LMP)
I liked/like the Cotton Bowl, Jeppesen Stadium, the Sugar Bowl, the Orange Bowl, L.A. Memorial Stadium, Memorial Stadium in Baltimore, Kezar Stadium, Comisky Park, Yankee Stadium, War Memorial Stadium, Polo Grounds, Tiger Stadium, and lastly, the greatest home-field advantage stadium of all...... Metropolitan Stadium 🏈
I went to the Chiefs/Chargers game at SoFi stadium last year. It definitely lives up to it's billing as an incredible venue to watch a football game with no bad seats in the house and an amazing scoreboard.
Gilette’s renovation will include a new, larger lighthouse for people to go up, as well as a huge screen and indoor food area since it gets cold and rainy a lot. All funded by the Kraft family too, and not any state money I believe, which is pretty dope.
Bro you had me! I spent at least 5 minutes searching for that destructionin the Pittsburgh stadium because I just couldn't believe it, until I resumed your video and heard you say "during the Gotham rogues game".
Minneapolis commonly goes below 0° F in December, on several ocasions I have been to a game in the old Metrodome, when the outside Temperature was -15°F(-9.4°C)
I’m from Detroit and I agree with your assessment of Ford Field. It’s not as nice as many of the other NFL stadiums but there’s nothing particularly wrong with it either. It’s just fine it works
@@JBM425 thanks for the heads up. My boyfriend and I are supposed to go to the rams @ 49ers game in October I’ll make sure to tell him we need to leave extra early
I think Seattle's stadium is one that is quite fun, and I have no problem with it's ranking. Green Bay however, I also think is rated too highly. It's ranking is in my opinion only based on it being historic rather than a good stadium on its own. Top half, but I don't think it's top 5.
The Carolina Panthers stadium is older but I went there 5 or 6 times (2 college games and 3 or 4 panthers games). Last was in late 2004 for the UNC-Boston College bowl game. I always had a nice experience going there with my dad- at least twice we took a train from Raleigh to Charlotte. I like the teal too.
I'm hoping that Raymond James Stadium gets a canopy over it (like in Miami) when the lease is up in 2028. September and early October games there are brutal, especially on the upper decks. Otherwise, the recent renovations are nice and it could easily last another 10-15 seasons.
I live in the Silicon Valley. I have a love-hate relationship with Levi's Stadium. It is not a bad stadium -- and it has some good seating, restaurants and ease-of-navigation. However, it was designed at a weird angle that blocks the wind and great weather of the Silicon Valley. In fact, the eastern portion of the stadium is often in the sun. Even on cool days, it feels incredibly hot in that sun sans winds. I attended a game that was 59 degrees yet felt like it was 89 degrees. As such, I tend to either go to evening games or sit in sections of the stadium where we won't be in the sun. Interestingly, I am not a 49ers fan. However, I just love football and attend any game that I can score great seats for.
Yeah, if I was trying to be objective, it would certainly be much higher. I actually started on a Mexican baseball video a while ago and got sidetracked. I'll try to get it finished soon.
@@ramtailthebattlertr2066 Agreed it’s not the worst ever. It’s certainly better than FedEx. But it’s location doesn’t make it the most convenient to get to or getting out from. And it’s redesigned could’ve been done better. The Bears don’t even own it either. And I’m pretty sure Chicago didn’t even put in a bid for the World Cup.
Gameday atmosphere, team performance, history etc. should be excluded with stadium lists, but it isn't for whatever reason. That's why this is just a same old "in crowd" stadium list
I've been to several of the stadiums listed here. I have to say that the Cowboys' stadium (AT&T Stadium) is my favorite. It is just a remarkable piece of engineering/architecture. There are some other stadiums that are truly amazing. However, AT&T Stadium feels like a destination that also happens to host NFL games. When I look at the cost to build AT&T Stadium and compare it with Levi's Stadium (near me), I'm baffled. It seems that you truly get more bang for your buck in Texas.
I agree with the engineering marvel bit, but cannot co-sign on the destination part. It’s all the way out in Arlington in a field. I haven’t been since the new ballpark was built so maybe the liveliness of the surrounding area has picked up. I’m a stickler for atmosphere around the stadium. Maybe I’m not ready to stop partying at 3:30pm and need a plethora of establishments to annoy the shit out of anyone within earshot. Doesn’t look like my idea of a uniform utopian jewel box stadium mandate is going to happen anytime soon as the bears are the next team packing up shop and heading to the parking lots and pastures of the suburbs. Also..am I the only person on earth that thinks that Levi’s stadium is pretty sick? With the exception of its location, obviously, I thought they hit a home run with the design
@@pool__boy - Levi's Stadium is okay. It's nothing particularly special, though. I like it...but it gets hotter than Texas (despite the fantastic Bay Area weather) because it blocks the wind from the Bay and the Ocean. If you sit on the East Side of the stadium, it is incredibly hot in the sun (and there is no shade). If you click on my RU-vid channel, you can see some videos from the stadium. I usually go to three or four games each season.
@@pool__boy There are chain restaurants along Collins Street and the I-30 service road within about a 20 minute walk from AT&T Stadium, plus the Texas LIVE entertainment complex a couple blocks east on Randol Mill Road. And, if you wanna get some pre-game shopping in, there's a Walmart that's on Randol Mill across the street from the stadium (even on non-NFL game days, it's one of the busiest, more dated and poorly run Walmarts in the country). Texas LIVE opened a couple of years ago and, well, it's okay, I guess.
The Superdome in New Orleans was built way ahead of its time! I love going in there to watch a game but it was better when Drew Brees was with the Saints and also the Sugar Bowl game is an Epic Experience!
Gillette stadium is replacing the existing lighthouse with a much bigger lighthouse. They’re also adding two massive screens at both sides of the stadium, and enhancing the entrance areas… should look awesome
Kraft has to get his money back some how seeing that the PatriRATS and BeliCHEAT are back to eating dog food,it'll be another 40 year's before they win another superbowl, unless they find a new way to cheat
Whea makes his ranking of Ford Field so bad is that he places Lucas Oil Stadium at number 6, then says it has many similarities to Ford Field, which he ranks at 25. You're telling me the fact that it doesn't have a retractable roof is enough to knock it down 19 spots?
Okay. For the first stadium, anyone crazy enough to drive there deserves to pay the parking fee. If coming from the north, take the green line to L'Enfant and then take the blue line. If you're coming from the south, blue all the way, or yellow to L'Enfant (L'Enfant's kind of a big deal) and then hop on the blue. If you live in DC willingly, you should probably consider moving.😂
I personally love Ford field. Not one bad seat in the house as far as sight line goes to watch my favorite team rip defeat from the jaws of victory 🤣. Go Lions! One Pride for life!
Judging by the stadium designs Americans either love being fully exposed to all weather elements by building stadiums with no roofs at all or being completely sheltered from them by building giant roofs over the top. There's few in between like ones in Miami or Seattle
Here's the thing about Arrowhead... sure it's loud. But it's the smell that makes it amazing. There are so many tailgaters making so much barbecue that you can smell it inside the stadium. It smells so good.
My home stadium came in at #6, which I thought would crack the top 5, but couldn't argue with your top 5 by any means. My FAVORITE team's stadium came in at #20. I thought we would have done a LITTLE better than that, but that is why they are called OPINIONS. Nice job, in my opinion!

Hi there! This is my Official Request that you please do a video covering the rugby stadiums of New Zealand at some point in the not-too-distant future!
M & T Bank is a great stadium. Just wish they would incorporate more gothic kinda spooky design to it so it goes with the theme . Add some gargoyles or more caste like features.
I like what the new design looks like for what I'll temporarily call Bills Field. Too small, though. If it can be 'expanded' to 67,000, leave it expanded. Still, I think it'll jump us to top ten levels. (Also seriously wondering about why FedEx and TIIA Bank come in ahead of Highmark in Madden year-in and year-out; all of them should be in instant 'standard rules say you can relocate' territory along with, I think Tampa and Tennessee? Actually no, I don't get what's wrong with those.)
i worked on construction of lincol financial field from only a few months in before the concourse was even poured almost until it was officially opened almost 2 years on the project when i was still an apprentice for plumbers union local 690! when i was laid off from williard-parker on the eagles stadium job my very next job i picked up maybe a few weeks later was for goldner on construction of citizens bank park the new phillies stadium.
The Merc Stadium in Atlanta is an easy #1, a stunning stadium, great facilities amazing circular screen and a fantastic Falcon sculpture outside the entrance.
Although AT&T stadium is like 13 years old, it still should be in the top 5! My top 5 would be SoFi, Mercedes Stadium, Las Vegas stadium, At&t, Vikings Stadium.
