What a difference the recessed date on the 1927-S made! The date is so worn on the 1924-S yet the grade of the coin is VF-45 (probably a soft strike and maybe a bit of extra wear on the raised, pedestal date), and the recessed date on the 1927-S actually looks stronger, yet the coin is in only VG-10! Amazing!

Ben in your opinion, since the end of the pandemic, do you think PCGS and NGC are over, under, or spot on grading coins? You were right about True View. Recently purchased PCGS MS63 Morgan with True View. True view shows toning on obverse. No toning, or very minute on real coin.

I love your videos and being able to see actual differences in the grading. Before you send Morgan's off do you weigh them first? In your experience what is the lowest weight you would send in for Auth/grading?

I checked my cherrypickers guide on the 1866. At a glance it looks like FS 007.7 Snow-2 Edit: I should have waited lol. I paused the video and checked it, then commented, then pushed play and you pulled out your cherrypickers guide.

Fraser's "F" is incuse in the Buffalo Nickel. Morgan's initial "M" is incuse into the design on both sides.

If the eye appeal is all there and its overgraded a point ill still consider the coin if its priced at its actual grade.

I wonder why peace dollars hardly ever tone different colors like you see on Morgans? Maybe it's becuase they were stored differently after being minted. There both 90% silver so that doesnt explain it.

I don't really understand the use of the term 'cherrypicking' when it comes to buying coins, and never did. That's what you do with every single coin. You cherrypick every single one. The only exception I can think of is when buying proof sets, or buying anything sight unseen.
