@@ultramagnus7037 Cool a homophonic joke, grow up. Your hypocrisy really shines here in the comments. Funny how it’s passion when Ovie does it, but completely different when it involves Sid. Joke
I can’t blame the Blues players for being pissed off at 2:44 cause that was a clear hand pass and the refs was like “let’s just call it a goal and we can go home”
@@corbincain8923 Also a goalie for both hockey and soccer. I hate it whenever I let in any goal or we lose. After all, I’m guarding the net. Overall, I’m decent at both (not trying to brag), so it hurts even more because I know that I can do better.
@@corbincain8923 It’s tough being a keeper. I played soccer in high school and was the tallest player so naturally I was a keeper. No one gives you any credit when you make the saves you’re supposed to, but as soon as you screw up the attention’s on you
I always have a hard time understanding when commentators are “he’s gotta stop this and keep a cool head” like bruh he just played his heart out and lost what do you expect nothing? They’re humans with emotions too lol
@@neonblack4486 well you are both sorta right, it’s understandable if it happens once or twice in a season but im sure what the commentators are talking about are consistent reactions like that. So yea, he was right about them being rightfully pissed and its fine if that happens once in a while, but you are also right about it being unprofessional and imo if its consistent its unsportsmanlike
This might surprise you but there's a difference in slamming sticks and breaking them. Quick smacks the shaft above the paddle against the post which causes it to snap with very little effort while Rask is slamming the base of his paddle and blade. Both are releasing their anger but one doesn't waste his sticks.
I do not blame Markström for being that upset with that 3 on 0, there was no reason he should've been left all alone at the goal against 3 players, he had no chance.
By being a NHL ref obviously. They've been doing this more and more over the past few years. The quality of hockey increases but the quality of the officiating drops each year imo
Just happened in the Flyers vs Canadians game, clear hand pass that lead to a goal, and those striped fucks told the flyers they couldn't challenge the play when the rule obviously changed because of the play in that series.
No he wasn't. There are many times every game where a clock is started late and stopped early. It was also likely even if they had added some time and some how played out exactly the same that it still wouldn't have entered the net in time. He reached for an excuse and then worse blamed an injury on it. It was not a good look for him at all.
There's nothing more frustrating than being fked twice the same way. Man do I hate myself when that happens. I'm a defenseman and I remember that one night, superstar on the other team dekes me out with a toe drag early in the game. Then I notice he just toe drags around everyone so I'm like, Perfect I know he does this move all the time, just gotta play the man and I'm good. Guy comes to me, I'm like, gimme the toe drag, bitch, I'm ready! Guy toe drags me and I know I got him as I'm gonna play the body, somehow, puck slips through my feet and he barely but still gets around me, retrieves the loose puck behind me and scores. I would've broken my stick if I wasn't poor, so I cussed a flight of crows off of a tree to cope on the moment. I felt like such a tool and humiliated. Still remember that feeling.
Milan Lucic FOREVER lost my respect for that shit he pulled in the handshake lines. That's the ONE place you suck it up and be sportsmanlike and respectful, even if it kills you inside.
While I do understand and appreciate holding the hand shake line to a certain standard is good none of us commenting will ever know exactly the things those guys say to each other and when the emotions are running that high I can see why someone might tell someone to get bent in the lineup; I'd probably do the same.
If you choose to play sports at a professional level, you're also a public figure. Your conduct on and off the ice is always on display. Get a grip on your negative emotions, these players need to realize you can't win every game. You're guaranteed to lose, accept it. Seems like a difficult thing for too many of them to wrap their heads around including yourself.
@@carlgustav945 lol so you should be ok with losing? I think kids that make mistakes should be mad like the guys in the videos because it means they care. I'd be pissed if I was a teammate of the guy who made the game losing mistake and he/she laughed bit off saying lol it's ok.
Yes we all have emotions. If I got angry at work and started smashing shit I would be fired and people would think I was a freak. Get over yourself and control your anger you man baby. It's a game lol.
1:15 “…. Part of growing up as a goaltender. And that will come with time.” Meanwhile, in 2022: Lehner still has a wicked temper. Love ya, Robin. Ottawa misses you! Xoxo
@@devin6835 by the time you get the show as a ref I’d assume you’re just over people having no respect for you and treating you as sub human. I’m a ref of 6 years and it’s honestly staggering how little respect people have for refs. And I wish people thought about the fact that if you’re a dick to refs a lot don’t come back and then they wonder why they can’t get refs for their kids games
6:18 I am fine with this one because he just showed off harmless anger, instead of disrupting everyone else. If you don’t know what I mean just think of it as screaming to relieve stress
Even as a die hard Sharks fan I still can't believe they let that hand pass goal count. That was criminal and the Blues had every right to be upset - the refs just wanted to go home
That was a terrible missed hand pass and especially in such a big game there should have been a call. The refs often suck when put on the spot. It still leaves a bitter taste that we didn’t win that game fair and square. -sharks fan
If you ever do another edition of this, you'll have to include the goalie's reaction in the Buffalo at Chicago game on March 28, 2022, when Tage Thompson broke his stick on a shot on goal, and the puck bounced off of the end-boards, hit the goalie's skate and went into the net for the winning goal, prompting the Chicago goalie to take his frustrations out on his stick!
7:33 That's just ridiculous they didnt reset the clock. Completely fair reaction here. That can't happen in this modern era of quadruple checking everything. And shit, I'm a blackhawks fan! so even putting my team's wellbeing aside, I agree the clock should have been fixed. The game is supposed to be fair for both teams.
Keep up the good work I’ve been subbed for a year and just absolutely love ur vids! U always make me so happy thank u! Do u think I could have a shoutout? If not it’s ok
@@matthewmiller6987 Chicago gets called for too many men with 19.2 to go but the clock is run down to 18.1, Columbus scores a game winner but it's 0.2 seconds too late. So they go to shootout where Columbus goalie gets injured and they lose in the shoot out.
It only appears that way, but in reality way too many variables come into play from after the clock stops to the point where the game ends. A billion possible combinations of variables impact the outcome of events. That lost 1.1 seconds has no impact - there is no causal chain you can point to that results in the outcome being different.
@@jasonrekker4328 a goal was called off because it was 0.2 seconds past the clock expired. So if it was reset for 1.1 sec they would of won but they went to a shootout where their goalie got injured so yes it did make a difference
@@johnathan8491 As a Sens fan, I’m not sure which of us has it worse. You lost Eichel and Ullmark and all your games, we only have prospects and lose all of our games.
I'm a Tampa native and Bolts fan. We've had a subpar season and the play in the last 2-2.5 months has been miserable. Where is the emotion of the team. We lose games that we should easily win and just take every miserable effort followed by a loss in stride like it's no big deal. I'm getting tired of it.
I saw Gallagher observing a goalie smashing his stick first, and I thought that was different, but before long Gallagher appeared in Enraged mode. Ovechkin had his own segment! Rage entertains. Tortorella hard to beat . . .
I had a game where my defenseman crappedthe bed with 5 minutes left, we were up 2-0 and lost 3-2. I was hitting the pipe and I got yelled at, even though I had made at least 25 saves before that. I was less than pleased
The first clip of the coach was awesome I was at that games and my blues came back down one to winning in one minute that was awesome and it capped off with him slamming his stick!
“Have another donut!” I quote that line regularly in my day to day life. Except I say it in an exaggerated accent, and add, “Eh!”, to the end. “Have anuther downut, eh!”
