Matt Hunwick’s hit against Marc Savard in 2010-11 that ended his career. He never played in another NHL game. For added irony, Hunwick was right next to Savard when he was hit by Matt Cooke the season prior (Cooke was Boston against Pittsburgh; Hunwick was Boston against Colorado)
This was a terrific idea for a video. Great job as always Delta. Side note: The hit by Austin Watson on Motte at 1:30, while blatantly illegal, didn't seem to be intentionally dirty (you can see Brassard instantly bending down asking him if he's OK). Watson got a game misconduct and didn't even argue, just went straight to the locker room with his head down.
@@DeltaHighlights Slowest shots that scored is a great idea. Also what about "Assists or even goals a player got while off the ice". Like if a player passes the puck and changes then his teammates score and since he touched it 2nd or 3rd last he still gets an assist. Goals will probably be incredibly rare, but I'm sure they exist.
2:29 not a suspension worthy hit? He only fractured his neck no big deal... cant wait for my Avs to destroy the crack heads this season especially Eberle...
Lindgren was to blame in that hit. Too many players are turning their back so the other player cannot hit them. It is dangerous and refs should stop calling other players for "dangerous hits".
