Marner is a playmaker who doesn’t like to shoot often. Analytics showed Marner set up more plays in scoring areas than basically any player in the playoffs. 2nd. And yea he “looked” no good but who’s responsible for not scoring here? Dumb narratives need to die.

I was thinking the same thing after 1st period. Looks like Stars don't want to play tonight. If they played a whole game like 2nd period, this series will end fast. Hintz back in the lineup makes a huge difference. Helps the entire team, especially Robertson. Oilers fell asleep in the 2nd period and that cost them the game. The depth is too much for the Oilers. Stars in 5!

Great resilience by the Stars. Wouldn't have been hard to panic down by two and the Oilers flying all over the place in the first. They got back to playing their game and created enough opportunities to get back in it.

I said earlier that Dallas was the best road team in the league and with Skinner in the nets he was going to give up some soft goals. You can't win a cup with a goalie like Skinner when the remaining 3 goalies in the league are Ottinger, Bobrovskie and Shesterkin. The margins are just too small to have an AHL goalie in the nets.

I am not an oilers fan... but as a canadian and them being the only canadian team left in the playoffs, I am hoping they make it to the Cup and win... however, these last 2 games, they are not strong enough to keep up with the best teams in the league - they play great in the first period. crumble after... I hope they make it but i don't have hope.

Honestly the game was close as a Dallas fan im not arrogant to think this was a easy game shots on goal was pretty even which shows both sides were giving their all. Oilers fans should be happy their team kept it close I imagine the next game could end in your favor.
