NIc Mann demonstrates his skill in driving up Gurston Down hillclimb a narrow track at incredible speed. Nic Also took 10 years to build this amazing racing car. Awesome Power!
I think unless you've driven Gurston Down it's hard to fathom just how ridiculously fast that is...... I have, and that video just blows my mind!! like one of my runs has been fast-forwarded, and I've got a trophy somewhere for second in class....
Thats me at the drivers front left, lining up the timing marker with the start. As for the light flashing, I think it is a rev warning, which comes on at Deer's Leap because he gets a bit light and the wheels loose traction.
@@photobillyexplores It has 1.7 turbocharged Cosworth engine with the turbo being driven by a gas turbine APU from a helicopter. The turbine gives the turbo constant boost so that their is no turbo lag, so it has both a turbocharger and a turbine.
Al Rayner yes it uses a Garrett AirResearch Turbocharger. The small gas turbine is used as a gas-generator exactly as you describe. It’s only about the size of a vacuum flask. So our ‘Buddy’ is about as wrong as it’s possible to be.
