Nick is just being smart. Without Commander Pryce protecting him , who would back him now? I think maybe, Commander Lawrence is behind "Mayday"..he is somewhat soft with handmaids and marthas and have u noticed Marthas are always involved with June's attempt to escape Gilead.. Nick is in a difficult situation bec. w/ just 1 wrong move & he'll end up on the wall, he wants to help June & at the same time he needs to fulfill his duty as a Commander. His love for June is unconditional but complicated, his authority is limited and the least he could do is keep June alive... I hope he gets the love (from June) that he deserves.. Praised be 😅 next episode please! Love this tale.. Team Nick & June!

I think we can trust him to save Hannah and June and that's why he stays back and doesn't leave because he knows June will keep coming back for Hannah and he has to stay there and save her every time she fails. I think he will keep playing the game until Hannah is safe and June because then June won't ever come back. I think he will leave with Hannah and June. I think that June loves him more than Luke because nick knows she changed her while Luke's just gonna want past June back.

That’s what I’m hoping. I would jump for joy if he saved Hannah. It was so frustrating not to have him in S3 or get more of his POV because I believe he loves June.

Hiya, there seem to be quite a few plot holes going on here, I mean, how did Nick become a Commander last season anyway, we have been given no information or scenes on this.... And if he doesn't actually believe in Gilead is he remaining in the system as a spy, double agent .. Or what? Surely he could go underground and help the resistance..... Also, June is not questioning him on any of this! it seems a bit of a leap that suddenly she would be running to kiss him and telling him she loves him at this stage, and so openly as well! I mean .. Hello, doesn't that blow his cover completely (if he is helping her behind the scenes) ! I really thought June would need some explanations and truths from him before she declared her love for him again...or maybe their love truly is unconditional!!! I do believe they genuinely love eachother. I just think the writers are making a bit of a mess of certain aspects of his story and character, more insight is required, and sooner rather than later! because they are totally stretching out his ambiguity beyond belief here.

Nick was under the protection of a high ranked commander. Don’t remember if that person is still around, but I sure he’s he’s had to do some smart moves to stay on the good side of the other mandatories. Maybe doing others favors, and being smart, I think that’s his play. the whole system is corrupt. I’m sure there are a lot of way to make it to commander and stay in a high position if you play your cards right. Moral is not of importance there, it’s all power moves. I admit it’s risky for her to kiss him so openly... but maybe we’ll see dangerous consequences from that reckless kiss later on.

I think that kiss out in the open will have significance later on. I'm not convinced that those handmaids were being brought to a breeding farm. I'm still puzzled as to why people think Nick is a bad guy when he has moved heaven and earth just to keep June alive to fight another day. In case you haven't notice, June is a handful. Look at s1 when he first tried to get her out. When she starts telling him how it's gonna go and he tells her no. She demands to truc ks and starts to leave. Instead of arguing, he gives her his gun for protection. She realizes she has no idea what she's doing and comes back. But June had to come to that. Nick backed off and gave her that space to realize that. Nick Blaine is a good man and I'll fight anybody who says he isn't.

He serves giliad,so theoreticaly he cant be good. hes been there from the start and still is apart of giliad. Hes trying to save her, but theresw not much he can do, because hes a comander.
