The last batch of them was horrible. They ran out of shit to say/riff about maybe 3 episodes into a 20+ episode block of them, so there were months of absolute garbage pods.

Well you gotta look at it like this..... His major addiction was alcohol and he quit that because it was fng his life up. From my understanding and what I have gathered from being a listener he sounds like he doesn't do blow all day every day and physically and mentally needs it every day of his life. When he is talking about being sober I think he just means off booze. This is all opinion btw.

There needs to be more than one comedian on the podcast. This was great actually having a second comedian to keep the conversation going. Adam is not a comic. Nick will tell jokes and all we hear is Adam's laugh followed by "yeah". At first I thought it was a joke. But so many months have gone by with Nick basically talking to himself. Adam can stay to keep up their friendship. But please have another comic on the podcast.

I've seen both Nick and Adam do their hours live - as well as Stav's on RU-vid - and tbh Adam's is the best of the three. he's such an unrepentant asshole on stage that it becomes immediately obvious that his whole aw shucks whipping boy persona is a front. tbh getting dunked on for the sake of our entertainment is kinda admirable. also i'm extremely gay.

Not trying to be a stuck up dick with this next question, but have you guys ever gone through an addiction and then become completely sober? I did it with multiple substances and dated someone who was doing all of them. I didn’t feel sorry for them I felt like I was being the boring one. I think there’s more meaning behind him saying “it’s depressing to think about”. Because he also says just prior to that how much fun it was. I think he’s depressed about the status quo he has achieved. He’s always been someone who is discontent. I think he’s sad he can’t enjoy things that should be fun like everyone else. He has a disposition that will ruin his life. Sobriety doesn’t mean happiness. It means equilibrium for stability. But he still craves fun and hasn’t been able to find it. That’s why “yoga” is said slightly sarcastically. “At least I have yoga”. Trust me, SOME of us (not all) we do sobriety to stay healthy, safe and from total destruction. But it doesn’t automatically mean happiness.

I like the term “booger sugar” cause it rhymes and I’m retarded enough to like that type of shit.

@@fanda6122 those aren't the only times they did it. He says in this very video that they did it on and off for years, but it never really got bad until 2021. He has said that he can't even deny using it without people calling him an addict, and ultimately not believing what he says. This proves him correct.
