No he’s not. He’s rated rather fittingly. He’s a table comic: he’s incredibly hilarious and great in a conversation/round table setting but his standup is pretty underwhelming. It’s not terrible or unfunny, but it’s very ok. Podcasting and social media has given many comics a platform to show the world how funny they are but it doesn’t do their standup material or standup abilities any service.

I don't hate Shulue, but Red Eye when Gutfield hosted was easily the best show on FOX NEWS like 10-15 years ago. not like it's the Holocaust or the Hindenburg levels of tragedy or anything, but i think it's a real shame that the need to produce explicitly political content totally saps the vitality from otherwise perfectly amusing comedy.

I watched redEye in its prime, and would have loved to see Nick on it back when Gutfield was hosting. What the fellas don’t know is that a lot of pundits launched their tv careers from redEye, and was considered a good place to cut your teeth when trying to make it into political tv gigs.
