Bro has gone on record so many times saying he loves moving and competing against the best wrestlers from everywhere in the world. This is his show & he’s running it exactly how he chooses
I have no idea who this guy is, from what I gather he's a very talented Collegiate wrestler. If he spent maybe 1-2 years training with the very best in Dagestan, he'd be unstoppable lol. But we also know, not everybody can replicate the dominance and success that Khabib had during his career. It truly does depend on the person just as much as skill level
@@kickinwinghotboi883 to be fair, those guys are generational, bread for the sport. Don't think it's just something you can pick up in 1-2 years. But maybe you can benefit some
@Kickin' Wing Hotboi khabib is not Olympic caliber, he tried and failed. For mma he is outstanding but if he wrestled say Jordan Borroughs he would get mauled. We have a far deeper talent pool then they have, all of khabibs team is over here wrestling at aka
@P A Jordan Borroughs would maul khabib. Khabib isn't a Olympic caliber wrestler he tried and didn't make the cut. DC on the other hand..... (is) the dudes that DC brings in to help train guys are Olympic caliber. So of all the dudes on Khabibs squad their best wrestler (khabib) himself isn't as good as DC. Olympic Greco-Roman or Olympic freestyle is the apex of wrestling. Like if you took GSP and dropped him into a Olympic tournament he wouldn't even place. Olympic Sambo and dudes like Fedor 👍 khabib and his squad are a tier down the ladder.
@@jackthepumpkinking2434 you’re crazy. Russia has more gold medals in the Olympics than any other country. Khabib also never attempted to get into the Olympics because he was never just a wrestler he did sambo which isn’t in the Olympics. Over the years Russians have dominated American wrestlers and it’s not close. Just cause there’s college wrestling here doesn’t mean we have better guys.
@@A1._.-_- i’m not saying transfer midseason. But if you’re in college, and it’s not working out for you, transfer. But I would say once is the limit on that. There’s simply no reason to stay with that same WC for eternity after you graduate. And once you’re at the senior level, I think it would be in your best interest to try different WC’s.
@@daytonasayswhat9333 How come there isn't like a wrestling league yet? You know like how after college basketball there's NBA and like college football there NFL?
nick suriano is gonna do whatever tf nick suriano wants to do and I admire suriano by the way he puts his mind to something and goes and fuckin gets it baby!!! do you baby boy!
That’s what wrestling is all about growing up! Traveling seeing new places competing with the best and learning and that doesn’t really change with age like how Schultz used to be with the Russians. These guys are smart, competitive and sponges
@@kenziecashflowhe wanted to compete his freshman year but Cael pulled him after he injured his ankle. Saving the kid from himself. Took it as a slap in the face.
My dude Nicky went to Michigan because his lifetime coach, Damion Logan, went there. It was an ode to him, not much more. Of course he left afterwards to go back to his old program.
Nick is a great athlete. Who’s to say if he stuck with one coach he would even be as good as he is now. Maybe now since he’s aiming for world titles and Olympics he does need to find a home. I thought Cael was gonna be the one but I guess not! either Goodluck to him!
The kid is a stud the only person to ever come out of New Jersey in high school undefeated that I know of in college he transfers back home Rutgers only wins the first national title for the school after being a runner up the year before decides to transfer to Michigan to follow one of his coaches drops back down to 125 and wins another national title he's one of the few people that can wrestle on a world or Olympic stage and bring home a medal possibly gold so yeah go wherever you need to kid 💯 I wonder if it's because he left Penn State and had so much success some people can't wrap their dumb heads around it so instead of hearing about all his success three-time national finalist two-time national champion and will represent our country for the next couple years at his weight class we got to hear about him transferring like that News
Listen to Frank Sinatra - My Way , and you’ll get your answer 💪🏾🔥 it’s His way n he’s soul searching , when he gets to where belongs I’m sure it’ll be clear …….
@@Gary_6969 you are right. I don't personally know him. However my son does. My son went with VHW to Apex several years ago. My son wrestled Nick. He got the better of Nick on his feet and on the ground. After practice Nick had to be consoled by a coach there. My son said he was freaking out over a practice. In my son's words he said that guy is straight up weird. So I think I might have some insight that you don't have. Lastly he has been to numerous programs. At a certain point it's not the program but it's him that has the problem.
I’m not a fan of Nick by a long shot, but to be fair to him the ONLY reason he left PSU was because his dad threw a tantrum at Cael because he didn’t wrestle him injured. He yanked him outta PSU and had him transferred to Rutgers. He would’ve been a natty champ at PSU if it weren’t for dear ole daddy.
he's traveling and wrestling for different clubs with some of the best coaches in the world against some of the best training partners in the world. Why stay tied down to one club when every club has something unique to offer. He's doing it the right way, learning all he can and it's clearly working for him.
This move is being phrased in a way to make it a story. If he had t graduated and transferred colleges to compete then that’s a story. But this is a grown man at the senior level switching clubs to get new practice partners, new coaches, etc. to help improve his freestyle career. He chose U of M at the time he chose for those reason and for school. But an RTC is not officially competing as a team like colleges are. Stop trying to make Syrians sound bad
Those coaches at Penn State really did him dirty. They wanted him to wrestle with a serious injury and then downplayed it and dragged his name through the mud and totally gave up on him. I woulda left to, he's one of the most dominant collegiate athletes in the country probably the best wrestler. At his level. He absolutely has Olympics in his future and professional fighting if he wants it
That's a big speculation lol.. I think you might be reading way too deep into that. It's most likely that he moves around so he can train with different coaches, clubs, athletes, etc to take the best he can from everywhere and incorporate it into his style. Its good to experience many different viewpoints and coaching styles and take what works for you and drop the rest. This goes for any sport, hobby, etc. Different places have different ways of looking at things, getting a diverse view probably really benefits him
