I GOT MY BIG BAG BACK!!! BE SURE TO CHECK OUT MY LATEST VIDEO AND THANKS FOR WATCHING!!!!! ALSO BE SURE TO LISTEN TO MY MIX-TAPE IF YOU LIKE THAT RAW OLD SCHOOL REAL HIP HOP!!!! PEACE AND 1 LOVE!!!!
I've worked out on traditional heavy bags ru-vid.comUgkxp9-sf95nqfjey-uyzxUzQ7m9MXRPK1BE a spherical stuffed "wrecking ball" bag, and now this thing. What I like about it is that it has the heft to stay largely in place so I'm not chasing it around. It's tall enough to allow for headshots and body shots, but it's short enough to give an uppercut somewhere to land. I'm very happy so far. Filling it was a bit of a cluster. For top-offs, I've learned that you can screw the supplied nozzle onto any basic plastic water bottle. I can't speak to durability as I've only had it a week.
Oh I see Genius... Fuck man that gave me a great idea on how to get my 100 pound heavy bag up. I mean sure I can lift it and its not really that bad but Id need an extra set of hands to hook it up
I wanna know how you hung that bag up. That's fucked. Good effort though. You look to work hard even when you're tired, always adding extra punches and kicks to each combination. Hope you kept at it.
Good job bro don't listen to these haters. The bag is pretty big man you should help support it with something other than the house if you aren't already.
This is an amazing workout and looks like it has been a few years since this video was posted, Do you still work the bag? has it increased your punching power? I respect you having the balls to hang such a monstrous thing no pun intended, most people would just lay it in a corner and hit it from there. Take care fren!
Bas Rutten sells a workout routine where he says stuff and you follow along. The combo is jab straight hook straight. Also, the boxing workout has less time in between combos because in the thai boxing version (used here) you're expected to throw an opposite side kick or knee strike afterwards. I've been thinking about creating a randomizer that accomplishes the same thing
@@Horus-Lupercal While I have not, I've done some looking around for randomizers on the Android App stores and Precision Striking has an okay one. It never calls out 3b though so beware that you are not being trained to throw the liver shot if you use it.
Legendary bag, the only one of its kind in all of youtube. Lots of 500lb bags that are tiny because they are half-filled with sand, this one is a legitimate functional 500lb one.
Ran into this after shopping around and looking at reviews on bags. How the hell did you get that up man?! And that workout audio sounds familiar👍. The best workout IMO. Still kicks my ass every time. 7 rounds of great cardio. Keep training brother!
Whats with all the damn haters lol. (I actually have trained Muay Thai and BJJ since 2009 to preface) So what if his technique sucks? Most people who are competitive in male MMA, Boxing, Kickboxing, etc... have been training combat sports since childhood. Most adults in the first world will never be in a fight or winnable "self defense" scenario... This guys getting it, he's out there getting in shape in his backyard, and y'all wanna hate. Maybe he can't afford legit classes in a gym with a coach. Maybe he doesn't care his footwork/right cross/whatever sucks. Whoever said he's training to actually fight someone/defend himself? Good luck dude, get some. Its been 5 years, lets see the results. P.S.- Sweet heavy bag
Keep it up bro. I do the same but with my own heavy bag in my garage. I don't take classes either since my financial situation isn't quite where i need it to be yet but i don't let it stop me from buying instructional videos and training on my own. Soon i will take classes but until then I'm doing exactly what you're doing. Great to see motivated people.
I read the video description and all I want to say (even if someone already said it) is that I liked the fact that you recognized the errors and try to correct them, that's something very important, even if you're not doing this to actually fight, recognizing errors can help you improve a lot on your training and gives you faster results when you know what you want to do
I thought the point of 500 pounds was so it doesn't move around? Try this workout on a 75 pound bag and you'll chase it all day- I should know, that's all I got!
not connected to roof. it is connected to a huge steel black pole behind the bag. It is buried 3 feet deep into the dirt where all the leaves are at. Thanks for your comment and have a nice day.
I have 2 questions for you where did you get that GINORMOUS heavy bag and how much did it cost and damn son you're generating some serious POWER to get that bag moving even as heavy as it is.
You should invest in a smaller one. You're not too bad of a puncher. If you do this for technique and training you're wasting your time. Your opponent won't be 500 pounds, they will move much more and when you punch try to keep up with precision and accuracy and don't lean in into your punches. No need to throw hard punched what you want is the master that accuracy.
why would you write this nonsense? do you really believe he's browsing the comments of a video he uploaded half a decade ago with 3/4 of a million views for training tips? "it was all going wrong for me, but then Trey Moses taught me the way. my bag was too big, and apparently you don't hit heavy bags hard either. also, you can't lean in on your punches, even though they're stronger and train your stopping power"
My only question is HOW AND WHY, do you hang such a heavy punching bag in your house?, the why part is beacuse doesn't that affect the structure of you home or something?
it's not hanging from a roof, it's on it's own rack. fucks sakes the ignorance is real, maybe you wouldn't be so judgmental if you actually paid attention in life.
Felix Ernesto Caba I mainly did it because if reading up on rocky marciano and bruce lee hitting custom made 300 lb bags. this bag was inspired by bruce lee's bag according to the companies website. So i when i found it on craigslist i just had to have it. took me a bit to save for it to, I was hoping no 1 would grab it before me. Luckily no 1 did. xD
lol ya that's me thanks a lot i really appreciate it. also check out my other tracks when you got some time. i got 2 mix tapes coming out soon subscribe if you wanna hear that. lol peace!
It's a workout cd designed by MMA Legend Bas Rutten. Super efficient work out that any buddy can do. comes with a dvd to teach you all the combos. plus cd's to play on any cd player so you can do the work out on the bag or shadow boxing in your room. The link to buy the work out is in my description. it's very affordable and well worth it. check it out you won't regret it!
omg good stuff man!! I nees to start doing that program again. That bag though. Did you walk into a store and was like "yo I want to fight the juggernaut"
Holy crap that's a huge bag! Love it. Don't worry about the haters, big man. None of them could stand in front of you anyway. Keep working hard, and don't be afraid to go get some coaching at some point.
Shout out to all the RU-vid trainers/coaches who criticized this mans heavy bag video. if he wants tips, he can join an mma/boxing gym. Keep up the good work bro! I know u still putting in work still to this day.
Good lookin' dude! That bag is fucking monstrous haha. What is the call out recording you're using? I'd like to try it out when I get back into the gym and actually have a bag to hit.
RU-vid is full of a bunch of haters who have never been away from their keyboard, let alone know anything about martial arts, boxing, or training of any kind. My suggestion is to simply disable the comments section and shut these trolls down. Keep uploading videos as most of us appreciate having good content to watch...thanks!
that's great dude keep it up. btw the Bas Rutten workout CD, there's an app for the android too? i'm correctly using with "shoutbox workout" app for my exercises, is that good?
