Love your programs. You are truly an icon in the Crossstitch world. Holes in walls: I understand. But, the house is there to serve you (not you to serve the house) sooooo, pound nails and screw screws to your heart’s content. What will help is to remember that when you go to move, a *small* amount of spackling will remove the evidence. To make painting over the patches EASY, poor a mason jar full of the paint and label it (which rooms) now, or whenever you paint a room. Keep the jar in a paint-safe location. This makes patch- painting an absolute breeze.

just awesome. the quilt your mom gave you, i have that same pattern my granny made me and my quilted it by hand. my mom has made so many quilts and i have almost finished a quilt top in the last 20 years.lol. it is a postage stamp quilt with 2 inch square with rows running corner to corner diagonally. i have sewed them all together by hand but thinking i will go over with sewing machine just to make sure. why i did that you ask i think it was easier to take to work that way and my stitches are tight but i will just sew over to make sure. i used pieces of families clothing with other fabric for memories. you are a beautiful stitcher and now quilter. you also have a beautiful spirit. love watching you. baskets

Loved seeing all the stitching and the quilts. I have some Jo Morten small quilt kits from a club I was in quite a few years ago now. I had hoped to get back to them last year, but work was too busy. So many beautiful samplers out there, too. I started way too many last year and haven’t finished any of them. Hope to do better this year and at least finish a few! Lol! I have been going through my stash and found so many things that I'd like to stitch. One Birds of a Feather chart and I can't remember which one, I got on clearance from Hobby Lobby for 65 cents! One thing I didn’t understand….you were showing a sampler where there was “over one” and the soie d’alger seemed to be too thick? What did you replace it with, a silk on a spool?
