The uniqueness and pain in her voice reminds me of Sade with a sprinkle of Anita Baker for the vulnerability! I love ❤️ it! Couple that with 90's samples and you have an artist who I feel should be around for a while. Selfishly for me, it's awesome to hear something new coming for Roc-Nation besides Rap.

Really because I thought of Bob Marley hearing this tune. She definitely is in the R&B alternative category. Others whom belong there are Keyshia Cole, Alicia Keys, Ne-Yo sometimes, Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia sometimes, Llyod etc. She is in those range of vocalist. Alicia Keys and Keyshia reminds me of a Sade. The voice quality. Yeah but to me this gave me Bob Marley vibe. Which Sade shares some of that heaviness in her voice.

For all of the people who don’t know their music history. This beat originated from Al Green’s I’m Glad You’re Mine. Then Eric B. & Rakim used it in a song called Mahogany. It has been used by many other artists since then. I love this version! Her voice is amazing and the lyrics are beguiling. Well done!

Such a beautifully, emotional and cinematic new visual that brings the truly beautiful, cinematic and refreshing sounds of the record truly to life even more. That plays like a mini-movie with a couple of the plot twists at the end you have to see to believe. By far one of the best pieces of art and visuals you will see in some time, Nicole really puts the ART in artist with this one and makes a record that was already a fan favorite by me and so many others, just when you thought it couldn’t be, loved even more. Also proving yet again why she has easily become part of maybe only a handful or two of upcoming artists that have easily become among my favorites with the way they're truly able to bring their amazing ART to life through both their music and visuals. Which you have to watch the whole visual to get all of the great and amazing concept that's so cinematic and beautiful.
