Oh I missed you. I'm still listening to all these videos and I am so grateful to you for all these . If it weren't for you, we would have to listen this music in cutscenes and in the game. Thank you so much! ❤❤❤ (BTW if you have the opportunity, try to take a screenshot of Walter's generator. the ones that hang on the Horus. Seriously, I still can't find what these generators look like. If you take a screenshot, place it on the cover of the next video. If you want of course) :)
So since I’m aware that you’re currently working on a video highlighting your Top 10 Themes in Horizon Forbidden West, I wanted to share my own thoughts on the Top 10 Themes from Worst to Best in each category (Mount Themes, Battle Themes and Free Roam Themes). So here they are: *Mount Themes* 10. Rifts and Ruptures (This is an Amazing Theme and it’s actually one of my favorite Themes. However I feel like it would have been better as a Battle Theme, so maybe The Twilight Path would play for the Apex Slitherfang and A Tribe Apart would play for the Apex Thunderjaw.) 9. Eyes Open (I really like this Theme, however I feel like it would be a lot better as an Underwater Theme as it feels good to dive underwater with your Waterwing while it’s playing.) 8. By Choice, By Fate (It’s really nice as a Mount Theme, but Section 2 was probably my least favorite of the Theme.) 7. A Signal in the West (This Theme was actually so good! I actually wanted to put this higher but you guys would absolutely destroy me in the replies. 😬😬) 6. Dawn Eases Night (Cool, just cool.) 5. The Trail We Leave Behind (This Theme is just a Masterpiece, the Focus Version is just too good! 😍😍😍) 4. The Corner of Your Eye (This is just Spectacular, every-time I hear this Theme, I think of Entombed. The Focus Map Version is just amazing! 😍😍😍) 3. Restless as the Weald (This Theme is so sad on many levels, especially in cutscenes when someone has to die. I love this Theme so much! 😭😭😭) 2. A Scattered Reflection (Section 1 was amazingly good, but Section 2 is just chilling. Why it’s so sad I don’t know, but it’s still cool. 🤩🤩🤩) 1. No Footfalls to Follow (This Theme is just Bittersweet and I like it! I especially love the end and the part with Rifts and Ruptures [The Twilight Path] merged with it. ) *Free Roam Ambient* 10. Scrapped From Salt and Rust 9. Steel Bones 8. A Quiet Strength 7. Rumors of the West 6. A Steady Breath 5. Solace Beneath the Stars 4. Adrift 3. Off the Trail 2. The Embers in Our Wake 1. Where the Wanderer Goes Battle Themes (Don’t Hate me) 10. Ruin’s Rise 9. No Delve Without Danger 8. Point of No Return 7. Shoulders of Giants 6. The Pride of the Arena 5. Guardian of the Deep 4. Built to Kill 3. Rifts and Ruptures 2. Bile and Bite 1. Machine Battle Theme 2 *Quest Themes* 10. The Idea of Home 9. The Sky Remade 8. The Ascension 7. To Embrace His Light 6. Bile and Bite 5. New Heights 4. Her Sky, Her Sea 3. For His Amusement 2. Written in the Heavens 1. Nova *General* 10. The Embers in Our Wake 9. A Scattered Reflection 8. Written in the Heavens 7. Nova 6. For His Amusement 5. Above and Below 4. Where the Wanderer Goes 3. Rifts and Ruptures 2. No Footfalls to Follow 1. Machine Battle Theme 2
Fun bits from A Plague of Frogs datapoint! On the whole, I find Sobeck's machines to be tiresome. Do we really need terraforming robots to resemble giant lizards? The megafauna metaphor is almost comically trite - it reminds me of Evelyn's holos, which, in the end, were little more than childish popcorn fodder designed to separate tired parents from their surplus cash. That said, the big froggy things have manifested some useful behavior. Part of their function is to recycle technological components - and accordingly, they're attracted to some of my recently installed devices. Yet they don't seem to know how to process them, so they just kind of hang around and root through rubble for scrap. The upside: they discourage the locals from trifling with my toys. Who knows? With a little luck, maybe they'll discourage the redhead, as well.
